No sound when calling - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
Since yesterday I got my Oneplus X. When I unboxed it I inmediately flashed the LineageOS. The problem is that when I get called the mic is not working, unless I use it in speaker mode. I have spent the whole day trying different roms including all the stock ones but the problem is still present. Do you guys have any ideas of how to fix it?

Flash the original ROM and take it to a service center. It may be defective.

Help! Can not find Service

My Friends at xda-
I've run into a slight problem. I noticed a couple weeks ago that I had no sound coming from my hermes. I think I had dropped it and found a guide talking about how to fix the issue and place the sound molex back on its connector. So I did this and sound came back with no problem (it was indeed unplugged). The problem i run into now is after I put the phone back together, it can not register on the network and has no service. I have taken it apart to figure out if I had moved the antenna or something has gone wrong, but I can't find anything. I have also tried to flash a new rom and radio version. Has anyone had this problem or can suggest a fix?

[Q] Microphone not working

Hi, I'm a bit of a newbie to XDA, but I came across a problem which I browsed the forums and the internet for a few hours to solve to no avail. A few days ago I made a call to one of my friends who apparently couldn't hear anything from my side. I checked this over and restarted my phone a few times to see if that would fix it. Unfortunately the problem persisted, and when I tried to record any audio, all I would hear from the playback is noise. I assumed that it was a faulty flash of Trigger v2.8, but ODIN'ing back to stock didn't seem to fix the problem. I use the phone in Canada, and won't be visiting the US anytime soon, so I can't go to a T-Mobile booth to get it checked out. Is there anything I can do? Any help is greatly appreciated.
check settings and make sure you do not have anything off, that could happen, But if you can't resolve find a compatible kernel for your ROM and try flashing that. That usually will fix most problems.
Good luck
Thanks for the help, but I was unable to fix the problem using these methods. I'm starting to believe it is indeed a hardware problem, but I would want to receive some more input and where I should take it to be fixed if that's the case.

[Q] GALAXY S3 Weird Issue Help please :((

If you have tried it already with different ROMs, I think that should be a hardware problem..
Try to get completly stock (triangleaway/stockrom) and put your phone in for warranty or bring it back to the shop...

Cleanup from the modified frimware, downgrade to the stock, but rooted 5.0.2/5.1.1

Hello, guys. I am recovering my Xperia Z2 to be used by my Mum right now, I am getting a battery replacement and a microphones replacement. Before, I have checked the waterproofness of the phone, but it seems that I got killed micros and I have completely stuck with a microphone issue. People hear me like I am staying in a tunnel, that's why I just purchased the S7 Edge and didn't mind it. But, the Nexus 4 died, and I would like to give a sony to my Mum.
I would like to get rid off from a rooted 6.0 with a couple of tweaks (useless), xposed, e.t.c, also I have the recovery installed, and I don't want to get the recovery erased. And, I want to get a fresh install of 5.0.2/5.1.1. But, I would like to keep it rooted, and install the Cyberian Camera on it.
Or, any other rom which would possibly have a working microphone drivers.
I just don't remember all this things, because I haven't flashed the phones for ages. Please asssist me, I would be really thankful. :cyclops:

1 - download your FTF rom http://xperiafirmware.com;
2- Install Recovery Preferably TWRP;
3- Flash kernel to downgrade;
4- flash kernel to update;
5- flash SuperSU.
Good luck
Guys, maybe someone would be interestered:
I have found a solution of Xperia's Z2 microphone issue. I have replaced the Z2's microphones with Z3's microphones, and now, the phone calls are clear, and the phone works perfeclty. I decided to keep the 6.0, because with a new micros, same frimware worked fine. But, I still had too much **** installed, and I have just perfromed a fresh install of eXistenZ. I had a talk with a guy from a Sony repair shop, and he said that this thing with Z3 micros working 100%. This is not a software program, don't waste your time.

[HELP] I9300 - No audio after flashing custom roms

This is a bizarre issue that started after I flashed LineageOS 14.1 on a SIII (I9300).
There's no audio, any kind of sound, coming out of the speakers.
I've tried audio jack bug fixing, checking acessibility settings, other kind of troubleshooting, flashing other custom roms, flashing compatible stock roms and factory stock rom. But no matter what I do this phone still has no audio.
Anyone know what could be the actual issue and other ways of fixing this? I rather not have to send this phone for repairing if possible, especially because it's an old Samsung Galaxy model.
If audio does not work on the stock ROM, I think it is a hardware failure.
Since it is such an old phone, buy a used phone with a working motherboard and smashed screen?

Normally I'd agree...
But this happening after flashing a custom rom sounds a bit too much of a coincidence. I was wondering if there could be something specific of the flashing process or something else between software and hardware, but at the same time flashing stock firmware didn't help either.
It's just a little weird and rather frustrating to deal with, but given that I'm out of options I'm keeping your suggestion in mind.
Could be pure coincidence that the sound stopped after flashing LOS.
Try to flash full repair firmware 4 files
