I own a Moto E2 4g.....
I flashed Resurrection Remix 5.0.2 in it., It is Volte supported but iam unable to make calls via 4g sims!
Like Actually when i call the call is gone, it rings on the other phone but no response on my Moto e2 4g. During call neither speaker works nor the mic..
Everything else works fine, only stuck with calls!
Can anyone help?
I have tried on Linage 14.1 and i stuck with the same problem in that too!

Its working perfectly fine on LAOS14.1, AOSCP, AEX, RR, etc on my Moto E2 4G (XT1521)
Please check if the Baseband Number attached here matches your device Baseband Number

But The RR which I flashed Earlier was VOLTE supported too...and Cm13 but it was no use!
Lets try on the Linage. maybe it will work

ROMs prior to Nougat for our device does not support VoLTE
For Marshmallow ROMs there's a workaround but it's better to switch to Nougat ROM instead
Lollipop ROMs not support VoLTE

Don't know really I just flashed radio files and volte working but faced the same problem now whenever I change my miui rom I flash it but with other Roms flashing doesn't work

There's no VoLTE support for Cyanogenmod 13. LTE works. But it's not the same as VoLTE. Why do you even need VoLTE OP? Jio's network is **** half the time you can't place calls the other half it says it's busy...

well it has improved over days I can place over 9/10 call properly in miui.
Did anyone from Mumbai having a 4g airtel sim card tested if the the newly launched airtel volte works on redmi note 3?
Edit: I got hold of airtel 4g sim from one of my frnds but airtel volte is not working although it show the toggle for enhanced volte mode but I didn't see the volte logo anywhere
I tested it on resurrection remix latest build.. Don't know about miui...

Nope.. Nothing on Miui so far. Yet to get an update so we could use VoLTE Airtel on Redmi Note 3.Using a 4G enabled sim here. Will post on update

Running on latest miui firmware on redmi 3 note. No airtel VoLTE option in Mumbai.

Airtel 4g(lte) not working properly, if i enable 4g(lte) on airtel, i am unable to make or receive calls and making or receiving calls is only possible on 3g(wcdma) or 2g(gsm), tested on miui, ressurrection remix, aosp extended, cosmic os. Currently using cosmic os.

for calls, u need to keep lte/wcdma combo mode
when on lte network and u place a call, it uses 3g to place call
u can keep lte-only mode when we get to use volte on airtel when xiaomi makes a miracle n gives us volte support for Airtel/Vodafone/idea on kenzo

Not really, would've been fixed a long ago if they knew the fix.
Many people need volte video call without volte video call custom rom is value less,according to me it is a big bugs so is there any way to run volte video call. In MIUI rom video call working fine but in cusgom rom why not iam one of the fan of custom rom.

I'd like to suggest you that, stick to MIUI until video call bug gets fixed on cust Roms.

Unfortunately there is no custom ROM which supports this feature. You can try some modified miui ROMs like multi pro etc

And you should soon get signal and volte symbol!(3 min) max. (Turn off and on data)
Then try restarting! And only if you are in any clean ROM!

Most of the custom roms based on AOSP or official rom like motorola's etc don't give support to video over LTE feature. It supports only volte. So u think u need to stick with MIUI or u can use duo app or any other video calling app.

Out of all custom rom vilte works only on this slim stable rom which is dated 29/06/2017

What really is the issue with viLTE ?
I'm currently on AEX 5.2 and would like viLTE to work. Please don't suggest that I use MIUI or ZUI.
It is really interesting to know that viLTE works on slimrom.
It appears that the IMS package provides the viLTE feature:

Use AEX Oero ROM
Use AEX Oreo 8.1 rom and add persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=0 to build.prop... and you're good to go... Video call is working

I installed this gsi but I couldn't get the camera and volte to work...but you managed to make it work right!? If you could help please ?
Volte didnt work as i used airtel indian network so able to call and recieve, and camera was working fine for me without any issue try to reset storage of camera app, i installed magisk manager and rooted linegae rom

Hello. I have a problem flashing the latest AOSP that you posted. When going to TWRP or recovery then when I flash it. It's error and said. "This device is j5xlte" even though I have a j5xnlte device. I tried all the roms that you posted and it's flashable and working except to the AOSP 8.5 it gotten a error. And also all the roms (your roms on github) don't have a RIL either no sim card detected. Your Roms are fine man but there's is a problem just two of it. But it's fine anyways since you just make it yesterday so it's still on beta. Hoping that you gonna make it.

hmmm... I tested all that roms and it worked fine for me on SM-J510FN (single sim edition) j5xnlte, accept that bugs what i posted on github (try updating twrp to the lastest)

I have the latest TWRP Recovery. My friend tried it and still the same problem. Why not try again? so you can find the bugs on Sim Card or RIL. I do accept the bug that you posted on github but that two is my main problem

When you gonna fix the Sim Detection/RIL.
and flashing error for your latest aosp 8.5 it said I have j5xlte. Currently i'm on Pixel Experience rom (Android 10) and I got also the latest TWRP which is version 3.90 7.0

First of all, thank you very much for continuing to supply this smartphone with Custom Romś. Isn't it better to make 1 or 2 available for Custom Romś and provide them with security updates etc.? I can well imagine that this causes a lot of time and work. I think it's better to provide 1 or 2 than more at some point due to time constraints.
