Tilaks multirom is based on it it's own recovery
If you flash that
Twrp 3.0.2-0 will be flashed
This is unofficial
So unless tilak rebuilds again using these sources as base...( I think as he uses the official sources)
Multirom will flash twrp 3.0.2-0

There is a reason I asked this question here at XDA in this specific thread.
I've googled and found this method on various sites. I didn't want the same answer here
This method doesn't work for twrp 3.0.2.0 onwards
But since you shared it could you post screenshots of this working on your device with a 3.0.2.0 version or higher..... Eagerly waiting

This is for International SM-G900H Exynos models only!
Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
WARNING #1: Flashing a custom recovery to your device will trip the Knox warranty bit on your phone. Check with your mobile provider to see if they will still cover warranty on Knox bit triggered devices. If you understand this risk, continue on.
You generally don't have to worry, as it's incredibly hard to brick a Samsung device, and physical damage warranties should be exempt from Knox triggering.

Fix a bug with the input box that affected masked inputs (passwords). This fixes decrypt of full device encryption on devices that support decrypt. This bug also impacts encrypted backups. Completely new theme - Much more modern and much nicer looking (by z31s1g)
True Terminal Emulator - Includes arrow keys, tab and tab completion, etc. (by _that)
Language translation - It won't be perfect and especially some languages that require large font files like Chinese & Japanese won't be availble on most devices. Also some languages may only be partially translated at this time. Feel free to submit more translations to OmniROM's Gerrit. (mostly by Dees_Troy)
Flashing of sparse images - On select devices you will be able to flash some parts of factory images via the TWRP GUI (by HashBang173)
Adopted storage support for select devices - TWRP can now decrypt adopted storage partitions from Marshmallow

SuperSU prompt will no longer display if a Marshmallow ROM is installed
Update exfat, exfat fuse, dosfstools (by mdmower)

Official TWRP App
Mar 11, 2017
Official TWRP App
The official TWRP app is the first and only first-party app developed by Team Win for TWRP. Please bear with us as we work to fix any bugs and build out the features. The initial version of the app does not support flashing on the Pixel due to the Pixel's A/B partition layout. In addition, the app may not support finding and flashing images from external storage locations. We are working hard to improve these items and bring you more new features.
If you do not have Play Store access, you may download the Official TWRP App here: https://dl.twrp.me/twrpapp/
How do I use the app?
When you first open the app, you will be greeted by a few options. First, you will need to agree not to hold us responsible for anything that happens to your device while using the app. You may also grant the app root permissions. The app will work without root, but some functionality like image flashing will be disabled. Lastly, you can opt into enabling InsightCore (more on this feature later).
Once you have passed this initial screen, you will be greeted with the app home screen where you can choose TWRP FLASH or NETWORK STATISTICS (more on the network statistics later). On the TWRP FLASH screen you will need to select a device. Once you have selected a device, the app will periodically check for new TWRP versions for the device that you have selected. The default interval is once per day, but you can tap on the settings icon in the upper-right to change the interval or disable the update check entirely.
If you enabled root access, you will see options for selecting an image and buttons for flashing the selected image to boot or recovery. Note that you should flash TWRP images to recovery. The boot image flashing is for flashing full boot images (not just kernel zImages) and should not be used for flashing TWRP.
this will VOID YOUR WARRANTY am not responsible for any damage!

Installation:
Make sure your bootloader is unlocked
Download the recovery image from above
Reboot into fastboot
Run this command (Change the .img to whatever the name of file is you downloaded):
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.5.0_9-0-x2.img
Once it is flashed, please force a reboot to recovery by holding down the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time until the phone reboots and you see the LeEco logo and the word "recovery" underneath it. (This is because if you allow normal boot after flashing TWRP and you are using EUI ROM and your phone reboots to EUI ROM? It will overwrite recovery with stock EUI ROM recovery. Forcing a reboot from bootloader to recovery prevents this issue)
Upgrade instructions
Download desired TWRP version

select the recovery partition and install the TWRP.img to it
Reboot to recovery and confirm that the updated TWRP image is installed
For the TEST builds of TWRP? Please let me know if this works. If so? I will submit it to Gerrit for official updates.

This fixes adb sideload and data decryption

Attempted fixes for encryption
unfortunately it seems the pulldecryptfiles.sh script doesn't always work and on some newer versions of EUI ROM can even fail to work at all... Importing the vendor/lib64 encryption files directly into the device tree for TWRP fixes this issue.
vendor/lib64 files pulled from 1512699115_LE_X2_X820-CN-FN-FEXCNFN5902812081S-5.9.028S
*** Please note, decryption fix isn't 100%!!! I think I need to use the Indian 5.8.019s decryption files as decryption fails when testing from indian 5.8.019s to custom Oreo ROM hmm... ***
Jan212018
Switched decryption to blobs from Indian EUI ROM 5.8.019s
unfortunately it seems the pulldecryptfiles.sh script doesn't always work and on some newer versions of EUI ROM can even fail to work at all... Importing the vendor/lib64 encryption files directly into the device tree for TWRP fixes this issue.
crypto files pulled from LE_X2_X820-OS-OP-FGXOSOP5801910121S-5.8.019S (Indian 5.8.019s) because it has encryption and it's forced encryption.
It seems Chinese EUI ROM doesn't have encryption capabilities only Indian EUI ROM which could be why switching from Indian EUI ROM to a custom ROM causes decryption to fail.
xxxhdpi screen density and support for extra languages (eg Chinese)
Heyyo, if you have problems with MTP drivers on Windows? Please check device manager as Windows messes up the device driver installation. Select it and update driver and manually pick a driver like in the example picture.

When I install to boot I cannot boot into the system anymore because it always boots to recovery. When I try install to ramdisk I get a size error. Please tell me how to install this so I don't need to use fastboot to get into recovery.

This is because you have to entirely replace the boot of either a a/b slot, or the recovery partition in order to install this on a phone. This renders that boot slot as only this recovery. If you want to maintain system and have recovery, wait till the devs /maintainers figure out how to get it to fit into the ram disk instead of taking the whole boot disk.

Hi
Is it possible to make one for moto x4?
Also will I be able to have lineage OS as a custom ROM and this as a recovery?
Thanks

Best you ask if the Moto x4 forums. You do not want someone to do a build without actually owning the device to test it. Trust me...
Is there any way to shrink the size of this recovery? I'm having trouble with TWRP.
Update: I just repartitioned my Pixel XL. Anyways, I hope we get a newer build for this.
