I am on Nitrogen OS with Franco kernel. The performance is excellent but sometimes I have difficulty listening to someone on a phone call. The earpiece speaker volume could be louder in my opinion. Is there a way to increase this volume by installing a custom kernel?
radon kernel has the feature
Franco kernel already have this(fk manager 2.2.13)

Does it allow adjustment of the earpiece(front) speaker?
Thanks!

I don't see an option to adjust the volume of the earpiece (front) speaker. Does the option "speaker" include the volume of the earpiece?
Which app are you using to change these settings? I cannot see them with kernel adiutor.
Use exkm or fk manager app

Hi,
I just noticed that the volume is lower on JB.
I play the drums to my phone so i am very used to it´s output level.
Is that the same for everybody?
Any fix?

my x820 is rooted

Just enable Dolby ATMOS.
Bluetooth is a digital signal. Your headset needs to boost the volume not the phone!!

yeah found and applied everything, but i think beside giving more effects and bass , the volume and the output level stays the same
guess MerlijnD is right, its up to the earphones to do the job
thx anyway
In viper you have Bluetooth tab. Did you change dB in there? Also did you activate expert menu? Then you can apply irs filters wich gives a real punch in volume , try joemeck irs. By the way i tried all with regular earphones. I do not have any Bluetooth device right now.
Can anyone help me in improving the sound quality and volume.
I tried Viper4android, Arise and Aural equalizer 2.0 but nothing seems to increase my speaker volume.
I am currently using Viper4android with Google play music and no matter what I hear with Viper4android, enabled or disabled, the sound volume remains same.
I have my kernel set permissive, V4A is installed as system app and the driver is properly installed.
Btw, the Processing is also on.
I am currently running Nx Experience 10.4 marshmallow rom..
Thanks.
Just install custom kernel (if you are in marshmallow install radon) and increase volume with kernel auditor.
I recommend you to try latest lineage and install radon/elementalx/franco so you can increase volume.

Don't know about quality but it will increase the volume, that is if your kernel supports it.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/nitrogen-project/files/kenzo/KernelAdiutor%28flar_sound%29.apk/download
You can increase the volume in the sound section.

Hi, can anybody help me with speaker loud mode? I have Dolby Atmos And viper4 in my phone but IT isnt loud enough. What can I do? Some apps or zips modes through the TWRP ? Or some Rom with good volume and sound? Thanks alot
Hi,what ROM are you using now?
I'm using Global Stable rom 8.2.1.0 for RN4 MTK and it is very loud even without Dolby Atmos...for example,i keep it on 60-70% of volume and is quite loud...with Dolby Atmos it is even louder (I have to keep it below 40%) and i'm the guy who has hearing problems (not deaf but my hearing is not good as it should be)...
I had the same issue with HTC and there was problem with the speaker itself...
Try to air-blow it a bit (maybe it's stuck with dust and dirt)...if that doesn't work, then maybe the speaker has gone bad [emoji20]

Dolby Atmos is sufficient; make a manual profile in the tab you prefer, and set the EQ like you see in the pic. Depending on the situation, enable dialogue enhancer or volume leveler, as you see fit. Keep in mind that WhatsApp audio clips are not affected by Atmos, all the remaining media is.
I think dolby is loud enough, first make sure your phone (music player) connect to dolby. You can open dolby to check, and active the volume leveler. And i think use one surround sound, i suggest use dolby.
Now I'm using dolby lenovo version (install from magisk). But if dolby/viper still not loud, you can install volume step increase from magisk

Just use a custom kernel and kernel adiutor, go to the sound setting and adjust accordingly.
Where shall I found in kernel auditor volume Steps? I dont have IT there.
