well all know about adaway which block ads in rooted device
but some user like me face problem that ad blocker not working in
custom rom android 7.x.x or official miui rom so here is the solution...
first download the latest version of adways from here
then of it and grant super su permission (if you use magisk the enable system less host in magisk manager setting)
now in adway app upper right coner 3 dots- Hosts sources

then again 3 dots import all list and select this download file (extract it using any unziper)

now go back and hit DOWNLOAD FILES AND APPLY AD BLOCKING
NOTE
if you still faceing problem that ads are showing in some add or some apps unable to connect then do this as shown in video
if you want to remove add then select black list and if want to connect app if facing no connection problem then add to whitelist

I bought Micromax Canvas Spark q380 2 days back and have either uninstalled or disabled most of useless apps that were pre-installed in it. I have updated most of Google related apps and have not installed any other 3rd party apps. Only Clean Master was manually updated (ie not through Play Store but getting installed/updated itself)
Now whenever I connect to internet then I am receiving ads in notification bar to install apps.

Any ideas which adware/malware this Micromax people have installed?!
Or how to stop these ads or uninstall the specific app causing this?
Those might be coming from CleanMaster. Cheetah Mobile is known for adware.
install kingroot 4.8 and download ES FILE MANAGER from play store, then open ES FILE MANAGER and open his SETTING then disable RECYCLE BIN and enable ROOT EXPLORER, then permission ALLOW, then goto above side bar and go to DEVICE MEMORY (not internal memory, not external sd card), then open VENDOR folder then open OPERATOR. select all 7-8 application and delete it, then restart and enjoy and plz reply me if u r not satisfied, bcz i hv those mobile and i was faced this problem.

Hey guys.
When I was exploring the Internet via chrome my phone has been infected. The new tab opened by itself, phone started to vibrate and page said that my phone is infected and that I should download Antivirus (but this page was similar to other pages with slogans "YOU WON 100K$ CLICK HERE etc.) so I ignored it. Now after every call (only then) Clean Master is saying that I already installed "Games " so I can delete apk file. Sometimes I press YES or sometimes I press No and sometimes it appear on desktop as game (last time it was yahoo logo) sometimes it doesn't. Clean Master Says That is malware with ".bf" extension. I tried every AV, even Avast didn't find anything. I tried also looking for this file by my self but no results (CM Antivirus also find nothing) . (gonna add name of virus for better tagging)

I think that is ads... Btw to be safe you can always format your phone, be sure backup your data and contacts.. If you are rooted use adblocking software.. If not use browser which supports adblocking features..there are many in playstore

Hi All. I just want to share something in case you want to try it.
My default csc NEE got settings for VoLTE and Wi-Fi call so I like to use that csc on every rom I flash.
I've been changing it manually for a while but got tired of, so I've made a flashable zip of it
Exception of the csc-related file "mps_code.dat" in /efs/imei/ which I won't flash!
I can't guarantee that it willl work for you since these things depends on your service provider, but you should at least get the voLTE and Wi-Fi call options available in settings.
It have been working on stock rom and advanced 3 with grace UX (didn't work with dream UX). Maybe possible with some edits.
I havn't tried the zip on A5 2017 rom, but I've successfully added it manually before so it should probably work.
I've also added some lines from advanced 3 to .xml files in an attempt to not break already included features but I didn't have time to check everything.
Be Aware That This Zip Will Replace Your Csc Folder And Add/Change Files In Your Rom, So Please Make A Backup Or Add The Files Manually. (Renaming Old Ones With .bak)I will not be held responsible if you can't find network or if your simcard burns up

I have already flashed TWRP, rooted, and used a Magisk module to enable Camera2 api (in Android 10, simply editing build.prop does not work.The module's zip file is also form XDA but is lost, and I can see it replaces /system/lib[64]/libcameraservices.so and two files in /system/vender/lib). But there are 2 things that seem not very satisfying.
① The module uses system.prop to change build.prop, but it doesn't work.
I wonder whether the cause is a small bug of the module or the limitation of MIUI. Then I have to manually reboot to recovery and replace the file each time I disable or enable the module.
② When enabling the module, Google Camera do works, including HDR+ and night sight, but MIUI Camera and system face recognition stop working. In some "informal" uses such as WeChat Scanning QRCode, it will show a black screen, which is very inconvenient. Is there an approach or an improved module to both use the original Camera and Google Camera?
