I've seen plenty of usb c to 3.5 mm jack adapter, but I'd like to use my leeco earphone that came with my Le Max 2 in my PC. For that I need an 3.5 mm jack to usb c adapter. I've searched but couldn't find any. Has anyone seen one of these?
I got it with the phone.
or order that

If you want to use the included head phones on your pc you need a female usb-c to a male usb-a
Something like this maybe

Thanks. It would work and I'll buy one. But I still would need an male 3.5 mm to female usb-c adapter to be able to use it in my tablet and other electronics. It seems I'll need to wait a little.

I think you'll wait forever for 3.5mm to usb-c. It's not just a matter of wiring a plug, the usb-c headphones are digital. In other words, you'll convert from analog to digital in your adapter only to convert from digital back to analog in the headphones. On top of that, the 3.5mm jack doesn't deliver power, so your adapter would need a battery (to power both the adapter and the headphones.)

I'm interested in carrying around one pair of headphones for my PDA and laptop. I don't think any cable exists but I could probably make one up. I would need a 3.5 audio plug connected to a mini extUSB female socket - do they exist? The closest thing I can find is a extUSB 3-in-1 Adaptor:
http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=144681
but it's a bit big.
¿Do you know if the MiniUsb to headphone connector on the Herald is a standard??
I've been looking for an adapter and I've found some Motorola Headphones that connect through mini USB interfase, but don't know if it's goin' to work on my Herald.
¿Can anyone help me?
Thnx in advance
my razor (motorola) headphones do not work on my herald, however, you can check ebay for a usb to headphone converter for the wing or herald, i have one and it works fine.
this might be a big bump, but this is why it wont work.
HTC devices use something called extUSB, which, evidently, is miniusb but better i guess. You will want to ebay search for that,
on ebay.. search term "wing" choose cellphone accessories>> headsets-corded>> u will get some... most are 1.99 with 4.99 shipping (us dollars)

exactly what u need
daydeal.com -= thye got some good stuff on there lol
This one works well for me:

I plug it into the usb audio/power adapter that came with my Wing, then plug the car power adapter into the adapter, and a Belkin 3.5 to stereo RCA cord into my Pioneer receiver... Charge my Wing as I drive while MortPlayer entertains me
Slightly old thread, but I figure it's worth clarifying this a little.
The Harold and Wing's connector has extra pins which provide analog input and output from the headset. I don't believe it uses any of the USB side's pins.
The adapter above will work for conventional headphones. I don't know of any adapters for MOT's miniUSB connector headsets (I highly doubt you'll ever see one) or even a full 2.5mm headset (although that shouldn't be hard to fabricate).
This may be a strange question, but how the hell am I supposed to connect my phone to my PC if they don't deliver a USB-C to USB-A cable with the phone?
Am I supposed to buy a seperate USB-C to USB-A adapter/cable?
Hi
The câble given is USB-C to USB-A

They do. It's the cord I am using.
I've read that some of the usb type C to 3.5 jack adapter are working now with a proper DAC, but I can't find a splitter that works for our HTC's or even for Pixel 2. People mention dongles made by certain companies, but I head to their websites and there's nothing available...
Can anyone help me find a viable splitter to charge and use headphones at the same time? I'm getting desperate, to be honest...
Thanks!
I have also tried several usb type c hubs but could not find one that works with htc headphones unfortunately.
I ended up buying an Bluetooth receiver to plug my headphones into when I need to charge too.
Not ideal but it works for me

Hey, that doesn't sound bad to me. I've never tried anything like that, though. Could you send me a link to your receiver or tell me any reference to start searching? Thanks in advance!

HIFI Bluetooth 4.1 Audio Transmitter & Receiver, Lenuo 2 in1 Wireless Music Adapter for TV / Home Stereo System Headphones Speakers MP3 / MP4 iPhone and More https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XRM8GXD/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_2ePXAbY8J5FFD
Look for a Bluetooth Receiver that supports wired headphones, i.e. it has a 3.5mm audio out socket.
Sent from my HTC U Ultra using Tapatalk
Checking that out as we speak. Thanks mate!
Hi guys,
still trying to figure this out. I hope you can help me with this idea. All I want is charge and use headphones at the same time :
If I plug this hub (or similar one) to my U Ultra's usb port https://m.es.aliexpress.com/item/32846535696.html?trace=wwwdetail2mobilesitedetail&productId=32846535696&productSubject=USB-C-Hub-USB-C-HDMI-Ethernet-Adapter-for-Macbook-Pro-Thunderbolt-3-Type-C-Hub
And then use this adapter (with DAC integrated) into the usb c of the hub: https://m.es.aliexpress.com/item/32832480232.html.
Will it work? Or the DAC needs to be placed exactly in the usb out of the phone? I'd really appreciate the help.
For these hubs to provide charging you need to connect the charger in the type c port of the hub which is marked with the lightning sign. To connect the 3.5 mm adapter you will need another adapter from usb type a male to type c female. Such adapters exsist but when i tried to connect the htc type c headphones via the hub and such adapter they were simply not detected by the phone so i doubt that the 3.5mm adapter will also work in such configuration.

That's it, exactly. Take any BT headset you like and can afford, they have the DAC already built in.
When i connect my earphones with a usb c to 3.5mm connector from oneplus, it says that it is not supported! Any idea?
you have to get an adapter with a DAC like this one..

they all have "Digital to Analog Converter" its a must,
but the chip one its 44/48khz like some bluetooth good one need to be atleast 96/192/384KHZ ,(if you got flac.\wav sound clips)
that why i loved my 3.5 Headphone on my older phones ,no lag, max quality , buy most people can settle for abit less and wouldn't notice
