Hello,
I have rooted my XSP, but I don't have a custom rom, I have the rom stock.
And, I saw on the play store, a good theme.
But, I can't install it on my phone, without a custom rom, and while my phone is under warranty I don't want to install a custom rom.
So, can I install this theme on my phone without a custom rom ?
Thanks a lot.

Since you have a rooted phone, You should try XthemeEngine. But you should install Xposed Framework first.

I suppose you need App ops and ram display in task manager?
Well if that is correct install xposed, and all that options you need are in wannam xposed or gravity box.
And yeah, please read before doing anything with xposed.

Like i said, install any stock rom (JustArchi posts many stock roms in General thread), debloat it (delete unwanted system apps via root explorer), install xposed, and install app ops xposed, and there you go, stable, fast rom with app ops.
Ok thanks you soo much

All custom roms write some partition of the bootloader safestrap, flashfire born to allow to install some features without touch that part... That's the reason you are able to flash some mods.. And xposed framework they don't touch that part... But customs rom like cyanogenmod and others they do it that's the reason of unlock bootloader it's something completely apart of root... But hey... They are lots of themes... Ports roms you can change layers... To say the truth kernel it's the only difference between unlock bootloader and root.... I'm begging for my note 4 at least get root

You can change kernel.. But only based on TouchWiz, that has same logic that's also the reason you can do ports of s6 and note 5 they use "similar kernel" but if you want pure android like a Motorola.... It's a completely different kernel... So no... You won't be able...

Yes you can almost take it... With themes of samsung... Like change the color of the toggles, with a nova launcher or others you can almost get pure android.. Experience... That's the reason I said almost like a pure android without custom rom.... But if you want cyanogenmod structure... The same toggles in the status bar and fast.. Response unfortunately until they unlock bootloader you can't experience that .. Hey not everything is bad... On note 4 for example we don't have in customs roms finger print reader... Or camera some people says cyanogenmod it ain't the same of the stock rom... Errors... In cyanogenmod also.... It's a matter of point of view

You can change color status bar... My bad I meant the buttons of toggles like wifi bluetooth that come with TouchWiz... If you see pure android and LG etc has different types of toggle buttons but you can change color of the status bar that's one of the most search feature with xposed

Its normal get custom mesage at star up once we install jasmine 6.1 using flashfire método?
So for a while now, my i9100's physical navigation buttons don't work anymore (I have dropped it and the flex connector was cut), and instead of fixing it, I was thinking if maybe there's a way to add a navigation bar in the bottom of the screen, like flashing something that would resize the screen and add the nav bar in the bottom.
I've looked up online and I only found zip files for ICS and JB, which reminded me of how the CM ROMs for JB and KK had the "Navigation Bar" option in the Settings menu. How come that's not a thing in L and N?
I also tried SoftKey Enabler, no luck.
Android version: 6.0.1
CyanogenMod version: 13.0-20160930-NIGHTLY-i9100
Kernel version: 3.0.101-CM-g43c083a

Found this on the GB thread: - DO NOT USE WITH CUSTOM ROMS LIKE CM,AOSPA,ROOTBOX,AOKP,SLIM,CATACLYSM,OMNI AND THEIR OTHER CLONES... IT MAKES NO SENSE AND CAN CAUSE CONFLICTS AND UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
And since I'm running a CM ROM, it may break it or something :/

All you have to do is add or edit a line in build.prop
Do a google search for:
"How to enable softkeys on android"
That will give you many links to do what I mentioned.

It does say that but i have been able to run gravitybox(MM)on cm13.0 without any problem till now and it works well, so its totally your decision whether you want to use it or not ignoring the warning as there may be a risk,i thought you should be aware of the possibility. All the best for any other workaround to get navigation bar :good:

Typically you want root to do it because you can do it directly from the device that way.
But there is the option of installing custom recovery without rooting and then using adb while in recovery to adb pull a copy of build.prop from /system, edit it then save it and adb push the edited build.prop back to /system, wipe cache while in recovery then reboot and you're good. On stock, without root, only custom recovery, it works on custom ROMs also.
Not all devices will have this option because some devices will need to unlock bootloader before they can flash custom recovery, some devices also have a secured kernel and will not allow adb to work unless you find an insecure kernel for the device. Also, not all devices have a custom recovery available to use for this method.

Below is a 3 Minit flashable zip framework for the LG V20 H918 10p. It may work on other LG devices and other V20 variants. I got the original zip from Nyfl2004 so he gets all the credit!
Flashing instructions:
1) PURCHASE the 3 Minit paid version from here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.three.minit.minitbatterysettings
Ok, this is optional because the zip file contains the free version. But the free version doesn't support AdAway which I can't live without. Also, by purchasing this app you get the joy of supporting an awesome developer.
2) Download the framework from here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3y-9RMsaMSbWGQ3WFl3anktUTQ/view?usp=drivesdk
3) Boot into twrp, make a backup, and flash the zip
4) reboot. Use the app to make changes.
If you mess something up, just reflash your ROM or restore from your backup.
Enjoy. Please leave thanks if this is helpful to you.
Thanks!

I would personally have to say this mod would be recommended for a stock, deodexed rom, meaning not a custom built rom.
Reason being, custom roms like WETA and NATF have mods already built in (nor sure of they include these mods) and replacing the SystemUI will remove any additional mods they have leaving you with just the mods mentioned in this thread.
I know WETA has many mods like NavBar icons and others, those will all be lost and the options in WETA control would be broken.
You're best bet if the custom rom you're running doesn't have a feature you want is to contact the dev or learn how to use apktool to modify the files for your needs.
I don't run any of the roms here so I can't say what they do or do not have so this is just my opinion based on building my own roms so do what you will with the info.
Good luck.
OP congrats and keep up the good work!
Great to see people stepping in to build especially since we've recently lost a few devs for our v20. If u have any questions or looking to nake some more mods happen, hit me up and I'll do my best to get you set up.
