If u are on AOSP Oreo like I am,
Root it using magisk
Then download viper magisk mod n flash
Then boot up n enable viper
Also I tried ARISE mod n it's working great..but flash viper4android magisk mod first n then arise

Hmmm I tried ur method just now, doesn't work tho, viperfx work, but i like dolby atmos more where it fc when i try to launch it

Did u try installing Dolby via Arise? Arise has script where u can choose to install Dolby ..

I tried the aroma installer at first doesn't work, then try the script thinggy , choose to install core, and dolby atmos. Once installed the app(dolby atmos ) fc when i launch it but viper working.Sad T^T

Bro then just use Atmos convoler sample to achieve Atmos effects.. I do not know if other oreo roms there's Atmos working but this is alternative solutions..

I got stuck in here for 5 min, hmmm anything wrong? I already download twice before i tot the file corrupted
Ya give it some time line 7 mins because of android Oreo it takes a lot of time as it was made for nougat and the script loops to check if it's android nougat but the setup will take around 7 to 10 mins that's not a problem..

I searched the Q&A Forum but I didn't found an Answer to my Question.
I tried V4A and another Sound Modul called Divine Modul and flashed it with TWRP but since I'm on permissive status I couldn't get both to work.
Please somebody give me a hint and a link for working Sound module writing on MIUI.

And I don't have to remove any old files in system etc. Just flashing and installing drivers worked for you?
I'm on MIUI 10 Xiaomi.eu 8.10.18 latest Build.

Now after updating V4A I get the Drivers installed but then it says to reboot.. And then see Screenshot...?

Yes I did and reboot. Nothing happens from V4A.
Alltough Dolby brings bet sound already alone.
Maybe just drop V4A?

Don't install manually , search in magisk then install, give permisions (volume + 3 times) then reboot. Search YouTube tutorial maybe can help you.

Lol everything good now Mate:good: With search option V4A didn't poped up in magisk.. I don't know why but scrolling down I find it and installed it.

Yup you can not use as same time there is one driver on your device so choose one of them .
Me some times use Dolby and some viper

Yes I've tried it and it pumps out a little bit of sound from the earpiece when you listen to music or movies.

sorry, but it seems that Mi Mix3 has a different implementation of the Proximity Sensor.
after installing the MOD, I tried making a call. and tried covering the sensor.
I then saw this overlay on the screen, that prevents any buttons to be accidentally pressed.
But the screen is still lit, tho you may find it a bit blurred because of that overlay. Tried pressing buttons, and it wouldnt react.
its all because of that layer. cool. so the proximity aint broke.
I modified it for the Mix 3 so the proximity sensor works.

i guess my magisk is acting up. cannot install any mod.
always failed. reinstall magisk 17 same thing.
cant install magisk 18 o mi mix 3. i wonder why

I just dirty flash my rom to get my magisk working again.
revert my magisk back to 17.3 , then i can install mods again
and installed the updated MOD for mix 3, now its all working.

I don't use it anymore it never really did much sound wise and it seemed to give me issues with calls.

this is a magisk module, i dunno if it can run without magisk.
i havent tried it tho. but please be very careful flashing zips via TWRP.
this is the root cause of some boot loops.

Yes you can flash it in twrp but it's still a magisk module and will still require magisk

It can be fixed by renaming vendor/lib64/soundfx/libvolumelistener.so to libvolumelistener.so.old.
Same procedure to vendor/lib/soundfx/libvolumelistener.so

Thank you, will give that a go.
Can't seem to rename, changing properties and changing permission didn't help either.
Ended up just going threw twrp and doing that way, seems to be working even tho status of the driver says not processing I can hear the difference as I change settings, thanks for your help.
For me installing AML (after v4a + sauron) breaks 'double tap to wake' on custom roms (not on miui).
Any help regarding this would be appreciated.
Hello I'm having problem with my device , I have sound issue in which I can't seem to fix even reflashing MIUI 9. So the story goes like this, I'm running Pixel Experience 8.1 and flashed AGNi Kernel 13.0 on it , I did backed up the stock kernel and after trying it out for months I decided to restore it back to the stock one and the issue happens , I tried flashing the stable MIUI 9 on it through MiFlash but it didn't fix the problem:crying: , any help there guys? thank you in advance!

There's a sound when I plug the earphone , I'm pretty sure that AGNi kernel is the problem here

May be u have jack stuck issue like me.
Phone always stays in earphone mode by default.
I m using Aex pie with audio jack fixed kernel.
If u need quick fix now then install Lesser Audio switch from playstore. U can forcefully put phone in speaker mode using this app.

Is that audio kernel came with the AEX's stock kernel? Or did you flashed it manually? (Separate zip)

Nice , thank you for this, I saw this option on AGNi Kernel before , maybe because I accidentally checked on it when I was flashing causing me alot of problem now that I flashed RR Pie , thank you for this!
