Hi, I just unlocked my bootloader. I am on MIUI 7.3.6.0 on Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon. Bootloader was unlocked officially.
I am completely new to Android scene (my first Android), so I have no idea what works how.
Where can I find an updating rooting guide to my phone with latest MIUI? Each step by step.
Also would be much more awesome if someone here who is experienced could guide me through the whole rooting process on Skype chat.

Backup you data by miui inbuild. Flashed a miui 7 cn dev rom. Goto security > root permision then you it will offer you to root the phone. Once rooted, used flashify to flash alka twrp: http://en.miui.com/thread-282773-1-1.html?mobile=2. By using alka twrp you can flashed any official rom and flashed superSU.zip once completed you new rom will be rooted by superSU. Else you can referred to flasher toolkit: http://en.miui.com/thread-296053-1-1.html. I personally used official cn dev rom, alka twrp, rooted by superSU and xposed v85(xposed-v85-sdk22-arm64-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20160609.zip). If you preferred multi languages the used alka twrp to flash latest global dev rom and superSU in on go. Done and enjoying.

I have some Questions please can any one help me
1- If i unlock my boot loader and install TWRP or any other recovery after that can i get OTA updates from MIUI ? (Using Stock Rom)
2- If yes then can i install those OTA updates through Custom recovery ?
Or i need to flash stock recovery again ? or relock my Bootloader again ? or install stock Rom Again ?
3- By Unlook Boot loader did we lost some functionality in Redmi Note 4 ? if yes then what kind of functions we will lost ?

Hi! I've a xiaomi redmi note 4 and it's rooted, but i let the default ROM (MIUI) on it. When i install a system update, than i lose my root access. My question is that, Can i update my rooted MIUI phone somehow, without losing root access?
Hello! I'm new to XDA and i have a XZ1. I want to try to flash the Android 8, then temp root it, then install twrp and install a Custom ROM. I can't do it on 9 since my device is not unlockable. Any tips and advices?
