Instagram multiple photo upload - Remix OS for PC

When selecting the + to upload it doesn't load the instagram gallery viewer like in traditional android. It's like selecting "other" for the source on traditional devices. Therefore there is no option to load the layout editor or boomerang, which I believe can be open separately. However you also cannot do the option to "select multiple" to select multiple images or videos to add to one post. I understand the newer Windows app operates this way as well, and the features aren't there. However this is an Android os. Why doesn't it load normally? Is there a way to send multiple images to instagram to upload into one post?

Is it fixed? I'm in same problem..

yes me too.
hope the option to change file attributes also gets added very soon.
unfortunately, even after making a lot of search, i haven't found an android application which can change file attributes.

Need an app/widget that displays a specific group of images.

Hey guys! Does anyone know of a widget or app (preferably an app) that will display ONLY a specific SUBSET of images/photos?
Most gallery apps, when opened, will go to a directory of image sets/folders which you can then open from there. I am looking for an app that will NOT give that option, but instead will ONLY display the 1-100 (actually I only want to display about 10) specific images/photos that I choose ahead of time.
Also, ideally, I would be able to have multiple instances with separate links/widgets that will each point to their own specific closed gallery.
Let me know of you've come across anything like that.
Thanks!

So basically what your saying is....
When you open Gallery, it shows folders X, Y, and Z.
What you want is an app that, when pressed, opens ONLY folder Y with no option to open X or Z. And be able to change it yourself so when you open that app, it shows folder Z without the option to view folder X and Y.
Correct?
A possible idea to make it so YOU can change what folder it opens but others can't would be....
It automatically opens a folder, "PicturesApp" by default. And the way you would change it is to go into something like Root Explorer, find the folder that you want to show pictures within, and rename that folder to "PicturesApp". So when you open the app, it looks for a folder called PicturesApp and opens that.
That sounds awesome. I'll give that a try.
I'm also considering building either html5 galleries hosted on my web domain, or maybe flash files that will open when clicked, but I will try your method first. Thanks!
Anyone have any other ideas?

[Q] Share Image With

Before buying my One X+, I used to own an HTC Desire HD.
In the Internet app, whenever I wanted to share a picture (say on Whatsapp, GMail, Viber or any other program) I used to long-press on the image, and from the popup menu, I would select "share image with", then from the new popup screen I would choose the program I want to choose said image from.
Now, with Jellybean, my only options are to:
Save image
View image
Set as wallpaper
or
Share link
no "share picture"
And unless I'm mistaken, this should be bugging a whole lot of other people too, as this is not limited to the Internet app, but the same applies to Chrome (where the only 3 options for an image long-press are "save, open or open in new tab"
Because of this, I now have to save the file, go to Whatsapp or to the Gallery app, select the picture, and share the picture, then when i'm done, i have to delete the pic from the gallery, because well... i don't like to pile up stuff i no longer need.
I searched the forum and the web, and couldn't find a fix for it.
Which is worse, either very little people are raising this issue, or I'm unable to find these posts... everybody with Jelly Bean is suffering from this problem, but Googleing for "share image with option directly from browser on Jelly Bean" doesn't really yield that many relevant results! The keywords are just too generic!!!
So my question is: Can this situation be remedied by some sort of add-on to Chrome Mobile, a custom apk that modifies Chrome's sharing options or something???
PS: I know I can share the URL of the picture, but that's not the point now, is it? I want to be able to share the picture, not its URL.
Update: I just installed Firefox Browser for Android, and it has the option to share an image directly from the browser! It's a pity I won't be using Chrome anymore since it's super fast and it allows for bookmarks sharing between my laptop and phone, but well... I guess I'll have to make do with Firefox for now.
I don't get it though... why would Firefox have the option enabled and Chrome be so retarded that way? Pity! Firefox even has an extension that allows for a full-screen experience, like with the Internet app!
Chrome needs to improve on these basic stuff real soon!!! For many, like myself, not being able to directly share images from the browser is a deal-breaker (as soon as I found a browser that could)

Anticontainer image downloader

I've been searching for some time now for an anticontainer app for Android. To explain what I mean, Windows programs like Bulk Image Downloader, or Windows Firefox extensions like DownThemAll Anticontainer, will take the URL of a Web page displaying linked thumbnails of images from many popular image hosting sites and download the full size images in a batch job, bypassing the Javascript or CSS that embeds the full size image on the image host's site. It saves the user having to click on each thumbnail individually and going through several clicks and pop-up ads just to get to each full size image.
Such applications are so popular on Windows machines, I'm somewhat incredulous that no one has created one to function on Android. Am I just searching incorrectly? Does anyone know of any such Android apps out there?
Thanks in advance!

The Google app handles image downloads and sharing very poorly

Images don't even show up on Google Photos or in the photo gallery unless you tap on the "download complete" notification and even then you don't have the option to edit the photo like with other photos. I pressed the share button and it sent a bin file on Discord. Even if you long press the image from the search result and press share, the link doesn't even generate an image preview on Discord.
Greetings fellow pocket computer enthusiast,
Iv'e encountered the same issue many times with images and other files, seems to be related to the browser but it only happens on some websites, could be a chrome bug or something about how certain sites handle downloads for mobile devices.
As of now, a somewhat annoying but working fix is to rename them manually everytime this happens.
Best regards,
David
