Hey guys!, i have xperia xa ultra dual sim,I just found an update yesterday(2.146)
I have installed it through flashtool
installation was 100% successful
But now my phone is bricked and I cant even turn it on also i cant BOOT it to flashmode/fastboot mode
please help me out guys.
PS i didnt wipe userdata, but only wiped app log! is that the problem caused my phone bricked?
now when i connect to pc,flashtoolshows phone is connected without usb debugging mode.

I've had a decent experience from trying to root my phone, and being able to save my phone a couple of times.
So hopefully I'd be able to help you too.
In what sense is it bricked?
You can't turn it on because the screen is literally black and you can't even get to the Sony logo?

Recently I tried to root my Xperia Neo L and now Im having trouble I cant seem to get on to flashmode/fastboot mode after I did the part where DooMLoRD_v1_Xperia-2011-ICS-ROOT was needed and I cant flash the last ftf which is supposingly to boot my phone back to normal Im stuck with a flashing red light can anyone help me asap?

If all else fails, repair your phone with PCCompanion.
Google and download it
Please write thread title which reflects your problem. Edit your post in advanced mode.
Are you sure that your battery is charged?
Did the rooting process finished fine?
Root process involve few restarts, possible that your battery got to 0%..
What happens when you connect your phone to charger(wall charger, not usb) and leave it for some time?

I have trouble, Previous i have stock v20c, I want to install CM 10.1.1, and first i flashed kernel boot.img from zip package with CM. Previously i had se xperia neo v, so i did it in habbit. Now i have bootloop with LG logo and i have no idea to solve it. Anyone can help me? I dont have CWM recovery in this kernel. If I send phone to LG service, they repair my phone?

hard reset not work, force switch off not work. i plug in phone without battery and hold for 3 seconds volup+power and my phone connect and disconect in loop i dont see S/W Upgrade. Anyone can help me? Maybe, the problem is not stock kernel? But anyway i dont run s/w upradge by this method

I am also facing the same problem nothing is working and when i plug my phone to computer without battery , windows detects and it goes away in a loop. how can i get passed this...how did you do this?? please help !!! my phone is unrooted before it got softbricket. I am a noob to all these topics.

Depends if you had root and rescue backdoor
Nope no root or backdoor. It seems the thing has wiped all its partitions as well

Are you on a bootlop or stuck at the sony logo or nothing happens? And if bootloop do you have adb?

Stuck and Sony Logo, the Recovery Menu gives no help, it doesn't ever seem to recognize my SD no matter what files I put on it.

There isn't much you can do except sending it to the repair center sorry :/
EDIT: except if you were on any version before 4.0.3 R5A
Nah I think it was on ICS, Recovery Menu states Rev.29 (3B)or e? so too new
Update
Just thought I'd post an update for all those who helped....
Took it to Sony to repair, just needed reflashing, only cost like $60, issue resolved.!

Battery died not phone..
this happened to me too, i got an error from whatsapp's date something like that, i reset the phone and it stucked in sony logo, i wanted to flash it but it get the green led but no detection from the pc, i can only get into adb mode (blue led), help me please

firstly my phone is always restart by it self, and then i try to upgrade the os to marshmallow and always same, the phone always restart again, downgrade again by flashtool, and my phone never turn on again, just red led blingking now, any idea to repair my phone?
Send it to sony service center.. I don't think there's any solution for that.. Since there's no way to interact with Phone..
Downgrading is always risky..

How in the hell did u hardbrick it? Also it's very unlikely to get a hard brick if you never unlocked the bootloader unless you've played with the internal hardware of the phone.

I m trying to flash all king of softwear and all the same stuck in sony logo and one i was and optimizing apps got to like 3rd and restarted
idk how i bricked it didnt do anything bad i was just using it like normal phone

That's a softbrick... It isn't any bad news really... Give the phone some time to boot.
Hardbrick - no led, no vibrate, nothing works, connecting it to pc results in absolutely nothing ie cannot flash and cannot be detected etcc. Basically like a dam brick
Softbrick - got led, got vibrate, can be detected and flashed in pc, just can't boot into the system. This is usually no big deal.

ok that is good but still i left it like more then 10 min and still wont boot i tryed like 2 -3 different softwear still same thing
can cracked screen be any issue its not touch screen but just glass cracked i when it worked i had a broken glass and everything was fine and
one day it just froze and i tried to restart it and then it didnt want to turn on

Here you will find many stock firmware for all models on Xperia M4 , including 2303
Do you get bluescreens when it crashes?
I have experienced the same.
i will try new stock rom and tell u all what i get and i never got blue screen
