Im using Coolpad Note3 Plus. I have been waiting patiently for MM update from Coolpad for my device. But till not, they have not released any update for it. By the way, they have released a flashable stable version of MM for Coolpad Note 3. That phone has the same hardware. I mean all of them, Except the screen.
For Coolpad Note 3 Plus, the screen is a 5.5 inch Full HD Screen with 1080P resolution. For Coolpad Note 3, its a 5.5 inch HD screen with 720P resolution.
From what I understand, if I can change the resolution support or screen support scripted onto the V22 MM rom for Coolpad Note 3, I can use it on my Coolpad Note 3 Plus. But I need to know how to do that. Newbe in porting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GPU: Same for both models.

Both devices have the same hardware. The only difference is in the Screen Resolution.
Coolpad Note 3 Plus has a FHD Screen. Note 3 has HD.
Both have MT6753 1.3 Ghz Octa Core processor with T720Graphic processor.
Both have 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM.
Both have 16 GB Internal Memory.
Both have 64GB Expandable.
Both have identical Scatter File.
How can I do this.

I have locked boot loader and unrooted redmi note 3, so i wanna root it and try some custom roms, when i saw 2 sections of development which are for MTk and Snapdragon i got confused :| So help me to find which how can i know that my device is running on which processor?
and also please provide a link to post which will guide me how to unlock bootloader and root the device
Download CPU-Z and upload a screenshot of the SOC tab.
The easiest way is your sim tray.
If it Dual SIM only, it's MTK. If it Dual SIM with a hybrid 2nd slot, it's SD.
Others way:
Go to Setting - About phone. There is a line with your highest CPU speed, if it said Hexa-core = S650 = SD | Octa-core = Helio X10 = MTK
