Read the thread, baseband requirement part
Now G620S-L01 users can enjoy the nightly builds.
Follow the instruction, flash a suitable baseband, you won't get the dialer issue
I dont know why some issues are not mention in official CM bug report:
1. Audio totaly destroyed/not usable if ringtone volume is higher (AudioFX does nothing to speaker, not tested with headsets);
2. Compass not working - HERE IS how One Plus developer called Sultanxda, resolve the issue few weeks ago.. May be would help for our device too;
3. When forward youtube videos there is another issue - video stopped and needs to be reload;
Seems like everything else work as is...
PS: Does the modem needs to be one time installed to receive OTA updates, or every time when G620S-L01 receive update, the modem needs to be flashed again?

The modem require only one installation, should be enough ( this will solve issue regarding Dialer, from some devices ) !
CM OTA flash only /system , /boot ( /recovery if you want ) partitions - so, modem partition will not be modified when you install a new update .
I just made a backup from my stock modem partition, just in case cannot receive officially Huawei OTA update .
Best regards !

I decreased speaker volume to avoid boom, and increased voice call volume
Thank u so much for the Official CM, got a working and almost stable rom after a long wait, some issues found are
1.poor recieving of wifi signal, need to be closer to router to get proper signal
2.loudspeaker volume is very less usually when activate loudspeaker during a call and while playing recorded voice, whatsapp voices etc but playing music and videos are fine
3.Mobile data is not very stable, some time its not connecting even if its on
4.Camera clarity is low compared to stock camera, yellow colour appears all over the image while click using flash
One question> when new update comes in about phone> cyanogen update it download all 255mb file, is it possible to get only update file as ota?

Hello,
I have redmi note 4 3GB variant, rooted with miui 9.5.11.0
I wanted to try out a stable custom rom, I'm leaning towards resurrection rom and lineage os, can you guys tell me which versions of those are stable enough for me to try?
And, what is the most hassle free and simplest way to back up and restore data.
In other words, how to easily switch from stock rom to custom rom (or vice versa) without loosing user data?
Los is good but if u are fan of customisation Then RR is good also Aosp Extended is good option, u can restore your old backup and its very easy just make backup of your current rom and flash the custom rom.

It doesn't get more stable than LineageOS.
But the price you pay is that there aren't any customizations or features. Currently it's basically pure Android
I'm using Miracle droid for 6 months now since i dont need treble at the moment or until magisk has official treble support.
Many customization option and no bug so far.

I prefer customization, not pure android.
At least for me, Miracle has better batter life. i love RR since Galaxy S2
oh by the way RR nougat is the best battery life so far.
I use RR Luis ROM, 5..8.5 version, which is for Nougat. Battery life is excellent, lots of customizations, and very stable.
Try the Lineage Extended by Alexey. Its not here in XDA, but search Alexey711 in androidfilehost. Thats the perefect version of Lineage based ROM I've found. Lots of customization plus regular updates.
Alexey build in lineage is the best , he update daily I think:silly: almost all customization in resurrection are available in it
If you want to try resurrection go for endless, his battery life is outstanding, he also update with useful features

Hello, could you explain me how to get the native MIUI camera app for my custom ROM, please?
I'm using LineageOS, together with Gapps nano and Magisk.
Thank you in advance.
ANX Camera. There's a link on the superthread along with the camera magisk module. Magisk is required. Superthread.
Although it is very lacking for me compared to the normal stock Camera. Idk why

Can confirm. Though in my experience, photos taken with it appear dull and lifeless, ai mode fails to recognize the subject and photos can sometimes appear blurry.
I did this and I got a good port of the MIUI cam that is working fine for me, and I'm using LineageOS:
1. Install Magisk module for MIUI Core here
2. Reboot
3. Install Magisk module for AnxCamera Noid 190R here
4. Install Magisk module for AnxCamera RN10 Addon here

Oh sorry I didn't know
Hello everyone!
I've got this tablet, and I'm wondering how LineageOS and Resurrection Remix (based on Lineage, I know) custom ROMs were compiled as not only moderators didn't provide screenshots but also source code they used to make flashable zip files, and it's not even clear what works and what not works. Back in a day I also compiled ROMs for other tablet but I left source code on Github in case somebody would want to give their time and effort to make it better or find answers for their questions.
Seriously, how would I risk flashing my own tablet if I can't even see what was done to make those flashable zips, and I don't even see screenshots? Why would I take a "leap of faith" and believe that everything is working there (or works at all)?
The only real problem with this device is bloat and not having root to tweak "hosts" file.
I'll also appreciate if you tell what ROM you use and what works/not works for you.
Thanks!

Thanks for the link! Where can I find list of bugs or is it really works as good as stock ROM on this device?
as it is no longer maintained, you build it your own, you test it your own, you write list of bugs your own.
you can however look for the support thread.
