Reinsert SD card and reboot to recovery again, if it doesnt work then flash stock and figure out whats wrong with your SD card and then try to flash again.

Oke, so it should read the SDCard with this version of TWRP. I am now formatting SDCard, and will try again.
Have to figure out stock flashing. This is my first Samsung phone, since 5 HTC devices.

Installing this Rom will void warranty. Installing TWRP will trip knox to 0x1!
Hey folks! I bet you know me from the S7/S7 Edge forums
I did/I'm still doing some work there with the SuperStock-Rom (which is quite similar to this rom here on the S8 actually), or the probably most known Rom on the S7 edge: SuperMan-Rom. So, what's the aim of this rom? Trying to be as close to stock as possible with some nice modifications as: Always up to date, knox fake, auto updated bootloader/modem. You can check full feature list below!
And why the name "BatStock-Rom"? I will do a custom rom (which has similar features to my SuperMan-Rom) with the name "BatMan-Rom" that's why.

HOW-TO Install the rom:
0. Make sure you have ticked OEM Unlock in Developer settings and have a backup of your user apps!
1. Download latest bootloader and modem from here:
Bootloader/Modem
2. Download latest odin
3. Flash BL (bootloader) in BL tab and CP (modem) in CP tab of odin. Then follow the steps on this side until you get a working custom recovery: TWRP for S8 (to enter download mode, press power+bixby button+volume down)
4. If you are done with bootloader, modem and recovery we can move on, boot into twrp holding power, bixby button and volume up while phone is powered off
5. This will delete all your personal data! In TWRP recovery: Click on wipe, format data and type "yes"
6. Wait until it is finished then click reboot, reboot to recovery
7. Now connect your phone to PC and copy the rom file inside your internal or external sd card
8. Flash the rom and wait until it is finished
9. Reboot your phone and wait till it finished booting
10. After you setup your phone, check if magisk/busybox got installed. If not install them from playstore

As long as you download the G950F files, sure. I always use one device for all uploads. This time I own a S8+ that's why.

On the other roms that has been released they all had the problem that they didnt check which device specifically it was installed on in Aroma which made the problem that build.prop got the wrong model-number for some. Ie the roms either always put SM-G955F or SM-G950F regardless of what the phone at hand was or wasnt.
Not a problem on this one i presume?

So since I removed encryption when installing TWRP, I dont need to do it again
on my s7 i use youre superman rom and now first on my s8 nemesis rom but i change now to this rom
If I have already install another rom now can install directly this rom without upgrade modem and boot loader or is strictly necessary????

Flashed without simcard, but this is not the main problem now! After installing few programs and restarting I am getting some red info about LOCKED FAB or FAP can't even see it clearly and phone won't boot I think FRP

Of course, I did as a first thing! Downloading now stock BTU, will see
@geiti94 Do you have a copy of the build.props wiithout your tweaks in Aroma please? I've noticed I keep losing root and it may be one of those tweaks.
OK I am back on track, fleshed stock BTU with no problem and started over with twrp and this rom, no problem this time, so have no idea what happened on the first time, all good. The only thing now there is something wrong with CSC in this rom, my phone is in Three Ireland, after first boot all was in French and system asked me to do a full factory reset because sim card was changed, I believe this is effect of fleshing btu but it was the only stock rom I have had.
Another thing... Problems with S Health, the SpO2, Stress and UV can't be measured as app says there is no sensors in this device
I have problems too with getting root access. Some rooted apps work but root checker for example sasys no root. Also my Phone is responding laggy. Will see if I can access the build.prob to edit. Something is not working well I guess.

i'm asking cause on the "[G950F] [ROM] [8.0] OREO TWRP Dump BETA 2" thread there's been reports of it being fixed .
Flash the Lockscreen Security Fix file after you fully booted rom, then you can set up security.

tried to flash the latest firmware but now stuck with 'only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed (RECOVERY)' error.
tried flashing back official firmware (7) through odin (and flashing twrp in odin) but the same error message as above, any help?!

1. You should have 7.1.1 based firmware
2. Install Recovery with Support Aroma
3. Download the ROM and copy it to your sd card.
4. Enter in Recovery and make wipes (Recommended Full wipes)
5. After follow the instructions of the Aroma Installer
6. Select addons in aroma
7. Wait 10 to 20 minutes (First start of installation, slight delay)
8. Configure and enjoy the pure Nougat Stock ROM

Installed rom just done the usual 4 wipes takes a good 20 mins for install.Looks great and Leviathan kernel fantastic.Only problem storage is a no no.Cannot recognise externel sd card and internel is only showing about 900 meg and I have 3gb at least.I could do all the full wipes and try again but will wait for someone else to try first I don't know if the firmware has anything to do with this am on latest nougat and I know rom says must be on MM firmware.If storage fixed this will be one great rom.

It could be because of the kernel,go into recovery and flash a different kernel.

Yeah I actually thought of that but the Leviathan kernels for 2016 run fine I have them on odyssey as well as quasar and on stock nougat roms.May be worth a try Leviathan kernels run better on super su but I run them on magisk no problem.I know bulgaricus said they better with supersu as magisk can cause overheating in Leviathan.But still cannot figure how kernel causing storage probs.I may reflash with quasar and see what happens.

Yes am the same just flashed it with quasar during install with magisk and now device certified.Leviathan was the problem.

Just the usual 4 wipes dalvike data system and cache.Install the rom with aroma choose what you want and choose not to root.Then install quasar kernel 1.6 fix zip or quasar v2 then install magisk and then reboot the rom.The Leviathan kernel will not give you storage access to external sd card and internal storage size is wrong with Leviathan.Rom is perfect with quasar.You then have device certified in the play store that is safety net passed in magisk.If you flash with leviathan device is not certified and you don't have storage
This rom is just mind boggling!!
The performance, tweaks and built-in functions are bestest from all the available roms in J5 2016 thread. The roms response is too fast and fluent. I can say that this is the best rom for J5 2016.
Please avoid the above problem messages regards to the kernel, the download link has been updated now and the built-in kernel replaced with Quasar v1.6. I've also found that VoLTE is not active in this release even after selected in aroma. Hope to see new release with updated security patch and fixed VoLTE calling.

Brilliant rom now everything working great with quasar.This is the fastest TW nougat rom to date.Great performance fast and smooth.Dolby and viper are fantastic together sound incredible.Great work developer and all who contributed to the rom.

You don't need to downgrade.Am on 7.1.1 and it installed no problem and check the previous page as seemingly the rom kernel has been updated to quasar.I have J510FN and works don't know about other models.Use twrp 3.1.1.0 it should just be a matter of downloading the rom again and flashing it.No problems exist with flashing it on 7.1.1 no need to downgrade.

It seems you have older version of this rom. Download the rom again with the provided link, new rom have Quasar inbuilt and you won't face this issue.

Can i flash it on TWRP 3.2.1 or only 3.1.1 like other TW ROMs?
Edit: It works like a charm on 3.2.1
does the battery is going too fast? or is the same as stock ?
How to disable the warning from mobile data/connection ( I don't know the right word) being turned on or off?
Also, MTweaks doesn't open, it stays with a white screen

still stuck at black boot screen.

Still same after almost 4 tries and let it sit for more than 30 minutes.
After restarting from TWRP the phone restarts one more time on it's own and then sits on black screen.

what day will you update?
Might take a few days, You must always have a TWRP backup before flashing new stuff for switching back if there is some issue like this
