Redmi Note4x(standard configuration version) is dual-SIM whith Snapdrangen 625 chipset, 3+32GB .
I cannot find any ROM for Note4x on XDA.
Can I flash Tthe ROMs of Note4? and could you start a forum department for Note4x?

yep, both Redmi note 4 SD version and Redmi note 4X are same except LTE bands and Bluetooth version.
you can flash Redmi note 4SD Roms on Redmi note 4X. It's compatible
So need of different forums eh. .

I dont know if someone has already asked this question but i just want to ask personally. So can i flash ROMs for Redmi Note 4 to my Redmi Note 4x? Because there are many ROMs in the forum and I'm wondering if I can flash those to my Redmi Note 4x since the two has the same processor.

install china developer rom for redmi note 4x sd(3+32 GB) (not redmi note 4x 4+64GB even if your redmi note 4 sd is 4+64 GB). Even if here you are installing rom of redmi note 4x 3GB on redmi note 4 4gb after installation it will show 4gb+64gb or what ever version your redmi note 4 sd is.

I am having redmi note 4 4+64 SD version so you mean to say I need to download and flash miui 9 of 3+32gb variant on my device?

yes, actually redmi note 4x 3+32 is snapdragon variant which is identical to redmi note 4 sd. dont try to install rom of redmi note 4x 4+64 because it is mediatek variant and its rom will not be compatible with redmi note 4 sd.
Dont worry even if rom is specified as for redmi note 4x 3+32 gb but it is compatible with all versions of redmi note 4 sd(4+64 also).
I am saying this because i have tried installing of china developer rom for redmi note 4x 3+32 on my redmi note 4 sd 4+64 and it works fine. and dont worry it will show 4+64 in phone specs even after installing rom of 3+32 redmi note 4x

you cant flash redmi note 4 mtk on redmi note 4x sd, but you can always install any rom,custom rom,mods etc for redmi note 4 sd on redmi note 4x sd because both devices are named mido and practically both are same phone with different names.You can always refer to redmi note 4 sd forum for redmi note 4x sd.
Why named Redmi 'note' 5/5 Plus here on XDA? I mean it supposed to be Redmi 5/5 Plus like what appears in the box and on gsmarena right?
Redmi note 5 (released in India) is renamed as Redmi 5 plus elsewhere (China & Malaysia as example). Codename for both is vince.
Redmi 5 is different device, codename Rosy (if I'm not wrong and AFAIK there is no specific thread for Redmi 5 on XDA)
So Redmi note 5 (India) = Redmi 5 plus (elsewhere)
Soon, Xiaomi will release Redmi note 5 in Malaysia which is now called Redmi Note 5 Pro in India, codename Whyred
Then Redmi note 5 pro (India) = Redmi note 5 (elsewhere)
I have a redmi 5 (rosy). When I search for 'my device' on xda it brought me to this forum (redmi note 5/5 plus) so was a bit confused as in my country Indonesia redmi note 5 not been released yet.. So in India they have different names I see. :good:
