I was fooling around with the system-dump from Xperia S and installed a bunch of things, among them Conversations.apk.
It worked fine and was a nice improvement from the stock one until i tried to send a MMS with a picture, which resulted in a force close after selecting the image with gallery.
Has anyone of you fine ROM-modders any suggestions how i can get it to work? I suspect that the communication between the gallery and conversations might need some help, maybe by installing some more apks from the dump. I am not in an experimental mood right now since i had to repair the phone-software twice now thanks to questionable decisions with apks earlier today.

Is there an easy way of getting a new customized installation on a Xperia S?
Most of the tools which were preinstalled are useless to me though I don't even used them they're running in the background.

get a CFW and there will be no bloatware at all

firstly i would like to thank the developers that created the jelly sony rom it’s working very well for my x10 mini pro:laugh: but i have a two problems 1- their is no camera app installed after flashing the rom so i installed camera zoom app and it’s working so i think i solved this problem 2- the bluetooth doesnt work i used root explorer to install the app that is in this folders system/app and it says the app doesnt installed so please help could you fix this problem??? or can i install another bluetooth app??? and i would be very happy if you help me :laugh: i flashed the rom again and i still have the same problem
Alright guys, Im currently rooted/unlocked and on Liquidsmooth 4.2.2 rom. My question is, I would like to pull the LG Email, LG browser, LG MMS, and LG weather from there 4.1.2 OTA update, and get them to work with this liquid smooth 4.2.2 rom. Im able to pull the APK's, and put them in the system/app folder of Liquid, set permissions via root explorer, but they will not open. They all FC. Im assuming this is due to the fact they are designed to work with 4.1.2 and not 4.2.2?
So, if anyone knows of, or can help me figure out what I have to change to get them to work, that would be awesome!

They're based on LG's framework, so they won't work.
I´´m new here, so I do not know if this is the right forum for this:
I have a Discovery V5 with Android 4.0.4 on it, and it´´s rooted. Does anyone know where to get the original ROM or could anyone share it, BECAUSE: I deinstalled the Play-Store. Reinstalling it (and any diferent versions of play store) won´´t work anymore. The app always quits with message (unexpected error occured, etc...) I don´´t love this app so much, but for app-update purposes it´´s neccesary. In other forums the advice is given to re-flash the device with it´´s original rom, but i had not saved the rom before experimenting with the device
any suggestions about that (or any other advice about getting play-store to work again? )
