Mod google apps 7.1.1 stock + sounds + bootanimation - ZTE Axon 7 Themes, Apps, and Mods

This is for nougat stock a2017g
Hello, I created this small mod to change zte app for google, this includes:
- Calendar
- Contacts
- Dialer
- Clock
- Messages
- Calculator (only adds)

Mod script clears trash Eliminate apps that I find unnecessary like the tochpal keyboard (with all languages) or google video or music.

there is no error man. on mega you can choose between the link of the package with decryption key included or the link with out decryption key. You just posted the links without decryption key

Thank you for the package davidroid1. Finally i got rid of ZTE's caller apps on Stock. Installing it was easy peasy, so thanks!
Are you using the patched versions of the dialer and contacts from xda in your zip, or are these the ones from the play store?
I'm just asking, as there is already a newer version of the dialer out (also as patched version) and i'm unable to update it over the current apk from your zip.
It also seems that in the current google caller package of your zip "short reply messages" are not working in the settings. For me the app crashes when i try to access that menu-point. Are you experiencing the same issues as well?

Thanks for warning of the bug, I will look for the patched versions to update the mod, I also have that bug applications are extracted from some gapps for aosp.
Edit: The patched app has the same bug.

Thank you for your feedback and trying it out.
If I want to update the versions of the Google apps from your flash zip-package by myself, what would I need to do, to accomplish that?
Will it be sufficient, if I just download the current patched apps and replace them in my zte-folders, or are there more steps involved?

€dit: On the other hand, would it be possible just deleting the stock zte-phone-apps and installing the google phone/contacts etc. as system-apks? I've seen, that you overwrote the zte apps with the google ones in their respective zte-folders. I would prefer just maintaining the google native phone apps in their correct folders, easily updating them every time a new patched version comes out.

Okay, after acquiring root on the stock rom, i've played a lot with replacing the caller apps with the google one.
So far i've used the zip-archive from davidroid1, but unfortunately the way the native ZTE-Caller Apps are being replaced/overwritten by google ones in zte's own folders breaks a few functions of the rom, which is:
* Defining and using fast replies when called and being unavailable
* Mobile net selection (under the SIM settings)
These are the functions who're not working anymore after using that zip, so i thought about, how we can get the google phone app to work as expected, while still preserving the native zte apps for advanced functionality. Additionally i would like to be able to update the apps, when there's a new version out.
Yesterday i've installed the Google Phone Framework via TWRP, which is available here.
After that i were able to update the google phone app (which originally was installed through the zip-flashfiles by davidroid1) through the play store to V9.0. Yay, updateable Phone app!
In that thread there are also google caller-app-flash-files who will install the caller app as system-app (without touching other apps on your rom).
To sum it up: On my next stock-rom-update i will try to go the following route to gain full google-caller integration, while preserving all of the native ZTE-functions:
* Flashing stock rom through TWRP
* Flashing Google Framework through TWRP
* Flashing Google Caller through TWRP as system app
* Setting up the permissions and system rights for the google caller app
* Freezing ZTE Phone Interface through Titanium Backup (to get that Google Caller UI as well)
* Hopefully Profit! Updateable Google Phone through the Playstore
I'll keep you posted as soon ZTE announces the next G-update.
Now of course the lovely boot animation and sound files will be missing, so i'll have to think about how i can get a flashable zip with only those. davidroid1, can you please tell me, how you've created your zip-files, or which tutorial you used to bundle the files?

Is very simple, you would only have to modify the zip files, or use an app es file explorer to modify system, then if you want to share the modification uses ZIPme

there is a bug, no volume control in the call phone
