Why im facing slow fp in all N roms.some times it dont recognise.but never face in stock roms ?? i was in 8.1 miui before .everytime i flash N roms i use latest dev firmware but issue not solved .I flashed global dev rom 7.4.13 once but not solved is there any way to solved it
I have same problem with fingerprint in nougat roms, screen wake up with a delay after fingerprint unlock.. Changing firmware, even kernel, will not solve the issue, i`ve tested. I don`t know where is the problem, other people say fp working ok for them.. I asked on aosp extended and aicp thread about this issue, but nobody answered..

yes, i tried franco and right now i`m on radon 4.5 and issue persist..
How slow? Mine turns the screen on in 0.8 - 1.2 seconds.

After fingerprint vibration, screen turn on after 1 sec, but in miui was more faster, immediately after vibration..
YES tried radon,elementry ,agni even Franco.slow means it unlock but sometime it just dont unlock in once u have to remove finger on fp and put again to make it unlock
Add multiple fingerprints of the same finger. I have 3 of the left index finger, and it unlocks every time.

it works if your print doesn't get recognized from time to time. won't work if your recognition is just slow. mine works in 0.64 secs running radon. you should try latest ROMs. they are really good. and if you have goodix, try a goodix patch. this might work

Very specific XD.
Tried it on xiaomi.eu and saw not much of a difference maybe 0.2-0.4 seconds faster sometimes so I don't really know what the fuss is about enough for others to mention it as a "bug". Using AOSiP with Elemental X kernel.
For those having trouble getting their finger recognized, make sure your finger isn't wet/sweaty and when registering FP make sure to also scan the sides not just the front.

If it synchronises perfectly when you touch the sensor, it's indeed magical.
ya for me too..i used RR ,ASOP for long time but got irritated by this fp [kindoff sluggish] thought fp life is degrading ..now in miui global dev.it got faster again ..so it seems N roms does slow down and some times not recognizing fps..

Any news? I tried all the patches and fixes, but nothing changed. If i do a factory reset the fp recognition is very fast, after a few hours if the screen is locked i have to click the power button to make the fp work again.

Hi all,
I'm using this amazing phone in the last weeks and i noticed that, when exposed to sun or close to a light source, the screen starts brightening up until black gets almost light grey and colors start saturating. Then i tried to cover the light sensor and in a couple of seconds the screen reverts to original brightness and colors. The phone did this since the first day and noticed that my gf's is working perfectly. Already tried to flash, root and update but nothing changed.
Anyone else had this issue? What should i do?

Yes, I have the same issue too! I think there's nothing we can do... At least with the stock ROM. In fact, if I don't find any big cons, I will flash CM13. I'm sooooo tempted
There is something on the new sd820 assistive display not sure it's on with the std rom I know using rooted and use lspeed app u can force it on.

I was thinking to change rom too, but i still find the stock rom to be pretty good(let's just say not so crappy) , plus this is the only issue i had with this beast, so for now i'll keep it clean.
In fact i tought about resolving the issue by myself but it will take time. In case i'll keep the post updated

In CM 11 and stock(not in cm10.1 and 12/13) something really weird happens.
When the battery indicator shows lower than 20,phone starts killing apps and ghost touch starts.
Its like someone randomly touching the screen
So,I enabled touch pointer to see where actually it happens.
It was at down left corner of the phone.
N.B : Nothings wrong with the hardware.
Rotation(0' vertical)
Happens only on cm11 and stock.
Not related with kernel(stock and r10)
Happens on low battery only.

I have same issue too!
It also automatically press back button.
The solution is simple. Just lock phone for 4-5 seconds then unlock it.

In slimkat i use blobs from cm12.1 and cm11 and the kernel from cm11 ... In fact I didn't face this issue before as I remember . anyway It maybe like as corphish said ....

I'm having same problem,but I'm running on cm 13 when the battery reaches 20% or below suddenly ghost touch starts whenever the cellular data is on works fine in WiFi

The main reason for ghost touch arises due to the charger, I fixed my issue in star using new charger(and wen I say new means not the cheap Chinese one)
Also make sure socket is propperly working:silly: I mean its outlet is normal:laugh:
hello guys i was looking for CM Rom and after 20 days without mobile i been test every single Rom
None of any base rom was good until i found [BULE] then it was not so good random rebooting and stuck on lookscreen .ETC

Sound is good, On my phone everything work very well. Battery life time is excellent. This is one good rom. I'm using this rom almost 3 days and didnt find any bug. Even Facebook and Instagram works good.

Great! I'll try it right now. I was on MIUI 8 for a week, and experienced turned off phone (no alarm) in the morning. It had 30% left when I went to sleep -.-
Also, notifications lag on MIUI.

In CM12 LTE on second SIM doesn't work. I need it because i have internet from company on second SIM.
CM13 works very well except proximity and light sensor.
Why sometimes touch screen doesn't work and i most reboot the phone by pressing volume+, power ?
best rom so far! sound is good. viper4android is always welcome. battery is good. rom is smooth, and fast.

I can conffirm
After 2 days usage, I can tell that they're a lot of improvements but something worst after upgraded to Android Pie.(I'm not talking about changelog)
===Improvement===
- Take less time to open apps(More faster than oreo)
- Overall performance increased(Before update I got 179K scores on Antutu)
- Faster rendering stuffs(NOT sure I felt it sometimes)
- Better Ram Management ( Adaptive battery actually restricted usage of unused apps)
- Bluetooth battery check on wireless earbuds or wireless headphone. ( I didn't see that on Oreo.)
- Lowest Bringhtness actually lower than before? ? (I can't confirm this.)
- And many more I can't remember ?
===Worst things that happened after update===
- Battery actually drained a little bit more faster than oreo. ( Even on screen or standby.)
**** the battery life is better after the Adaptive battery things identified the battery drain apps.****
- Mobile data sometimes shown no connection. ( I have S7 edge and it's got like 3/4 signal but in xz1 there's only 1 /4 signal or no service. ( I'm pretty sure about this)
-WiFi sometimes shown that connected but actually it doesn't load my YouTube video (Tested 2 times with S7 Edge and confirmed the problem.)
- Night mode actually cool but doesn't work right now?(It's new thing I know but just complaining about it)

Yes smart lock features doesn't disappear after device reboot or shutdown. So no need to turn off trust agent thing as before.

Oh phh treble rom boots and the camera works?! This is good news. This means that the other treble roms will boot too since they are built on top of it (I think).

You can check my post here... basically what I did:
1- Update to Stock 9
2- Unlock bootloader
3- install TWRP
4- Flash A-Version GSI AOSP Android 9 from Phhusson, I recommend the gapps su version.
5- Flash Magisk
Done!
Later I did some experiments using gapps to install google camera 2 (legacy) and it works!
For me the best things in the Pie update so far seems to be battery life improvements. In previous 8.0 builds battery management in my XZ1 was somehow broken. It got massive drain overnight and even when I unplugged it in the morning, I only managed to get 3-4 hours of SOT during the day. Now with Pie it looks like this issue was fixed. Energy use of android system and phone standby is stated to be around 1-2% of the whole usage (previously like 20%) and the SOT is exactly like in the good old days when the phone was new out of the box. Today (with battery-priority stamina starting at 20% and all-time enabled mobile data, wi-fi and accurate location services) i got a massive 6h 23m of SOT. I'm very curious if this will become a typical score right now.
