I am considering buying a used lg g5 on att network, to use in Europe. Will this phone need to be unlocked to use on a carrier in Europe or will international carrier?

Hello All, Looking to purchase the LG V10. The LG V10 is unlocked but a T-Mobile phone and I am concerned about receiving updates. The phone will be used with a Rogers Network Sim in Canada. My question is can these phones be activated on AT&T in the US without having to unlock them? Thanks in advance.

Probably not, you will have to ask the original carrier for the sim-unlock codes using the phone's IMEI-codes... Since the phones are so old they should give you the unlock-codes for free. After unlocking them (inserting a sim from another carrier and entering the code) they should function on any other carrier.

If I buy a second hand "unlocked" H820 variant, can I expect any issues using in the UK (where I live) or Europe on holiday?
Would I be better off sourcing an H850 instead?

Do you have any new experience how does h820 works in EU? Are there any problems with non AT&T carrier? Im considering to buy one h820 too because it much more cheaper than european h850. VoLTE working? Most important for me is LTE band 20 (800Mhz). Thanks
Hi, I'm planning to buy a V10 VZW to use it out of USA. So the question is if it will work GSM internationally. I've read that VZW phones are globally unlocked. I know the setting to "global" but I dunno if it will work. Anyone who use a VZW v 10 out of USA without having to call to unlock it?
Hello! I use LG V10 verizon in Europe and it works just fine, as it is supposed to work! No need for any unlock or whatsoever.
