[Q] Google Android Backup System

Is there any way to manage the Google Android Backup System? There are some apps from the market that I don't want to be automatically restored when flashing a rom+gapps. I would like to manage the information it contains.

things to test before using custom rom,not tutorial, question post.

In Theory ,could i get a custom rom, delete all preinstalled rom apps and reuse the stock android's apps?
for example, could i make a backup of all user apps on my android, flash a custom rom, remove all apps in the custom rom and reinstall all the apps from the original android without losing data? Like Titanium Backup?
You can backups all your apps with Titanium Backup and then restore them after installing Custom ROM.

Titanium Backup restore on Nougat (7.1.1)

Hello,
I don't know exactly where to post my question... :-/
So let's go here.
I was using a Z5C on MM. I switch to a P9 Lite and migrate all datas with Titanium Backup 8.0.2.
Now, I decided to go back to my Z5C with the last ROM 32.4.A.1.54 (Nougat) rooted with phh superuser & TWRP.
It works fine but I can not restore my "binary" datas with Titanium Backup on this device.
When I restore the accounts database, it's never the old one !
/data/system/users/0/accounts.db is the good one (with all desired accounts) but Android don't show them in the accounts & sync menu.
Maybe it works withe the device encrypted one : /data/system_de/users/0/accounts_de.db
But how can I convert my backup to this one ??
Boring.....
Not alone in this storm...

Will Google app/data restore wreck my OpenGapps install (eg. restore unwanted apps?)

Apologies if this in the wrong section.
I have been running Lineage 15.1 on a Samsung S4 I9505, but am changing to Cyanogenmod 13.0 on a Samsung S4 I9506. (Was having constant freeze/slow issues on Lineage).
I used a gapps config file to exclude most Google apps from installing, and I am not sure if I should allow Google Backup/Restore to restore apps & data that were backed up from the 19505, due to the following factors...
1. Backup is from Android 8.1, restoring to Android 6.0. If "downgrading" is not a good idea, is Google restore OK to use when upgrading?
2. Different model phones (both S4 but I9505 > I9506)
3. Will it stuff up my OpenGapps install? The purpose of using OpenGapps was to put apps on system partition, but will Google restore just put them back on normal partition? And will it alsoi restore all the apps I no longer need and specifically excluded with my Gapps config file?
