MIUI 9 release date is expected to be end of May or early June 2017.

Last day I tried the all new MIUI 10 on my mido.
It's awesome with some cool stuff. No bugs were there in the ROM.
But one single problem is that Gcam is not working in it.
It's Just a black screen.
But Panorama and Photo Sphere is working.
Lens Blur is also working. But Portrait mode isn't.
It was the much needed feature.
Tried many versions but no use. can anybody do something for the Portrait Mode to work ?
It would be very Good .
Rom is Missing elements And it Breaks The Camera Api 2
i did logcat and compared both frameworks miui 9 and 10 and they are identical so am not sure
which mod are you using?please help anyone...im also in trouble

I am facing the same issue after updating in miui 10 official beta. Gcam arnova8 is not working. Please someone Fix this issue because lots of Redmi Note 4 users use Gcam arnova8.

It's working like a charm on miui 9, so it's a shame if google camera no longer working on miui 10 because miui deliberately disable it.

I am using miuipro 10 and gcam is not working. Only black screen. That's a custom rom, I've not checked epic rom though.
The epic rom is the same

Camera setting not working
Camera setting not working. Every time tap on camera setting, crashes the camera app. How to resolve?
Hello guys my gcam is not working on my note 4 after updating it into miui10.Later it was working on miui 9 like butter but recently when I flashed it into miui 10 camera 2api module is also not supporting.so, please help me to enable Gcam as it give better camera quality than stock ........

There is nothing you can do to work on miui10.We have to wait till stable rom is released and see if it works then.

I have enabed Camera2api via build prop and via magisk but still i did see No Success with any of google pixel camera ports
However the ported miui 10 camera works great for portrait shots on both rear n front cameras but hdr n filter modes are FCs
Using that port for portraits only will solve the issue

I'm currently using official stable global 10.1.3 however I'm planning to switch to custom rom. Can you suggest any custom rom that is stable for daily driver? Is the performance and battery life of custom roms holds up against stock miui?

These are some option and are also the ones I use.
-GCAM
-Camera FV-5 Lite
-Open Camera
-A Better Camera
-MIUI Camera Port
Although I might switch to MIUI 9.1.X once that comes out as they have a new hide notch feature that fixes the notification issue I had with MIUI.
Also note that Pixel Experience is currently on pause as the dev doesn't actually have a POCO f1, and Syberia Rom is suspended for now. But I heard PE is actually quite stable. My reason for choosing crDroid is because its stable and has great features and it also has great signal strength.

Got a miui port cam working without fp bug. I'm currently using latest nos and everything is perfect for me.

into my Xiaomi Mi 8 pro
tried many recoveries, onle LR's team modified TWRP worked, and very smoothly !
everything going very well, battery performance improved aside of the new features !
I have until now 2 issues
first one is there's no fingerprint lock option in the setting as the MI 8 don't have in-display sensor
the second is the camera, the device have configured the zoom camera as selfie camera
pressing the rotation button lead to apply zoom rather than switching cameras
actually, the 2nd issue isn't a major one for me, as i am not a snapchat's fan.
but the first is a major one
any one who have a method to resolve this ?
