Try to format data and clean flash
if it boot loops than flash kernel

First try to remove lockscreen security using Agni Toolbox from Agni kernel thread.

Flash latest twrp 3.x. You can find it from official lineage os thread under original development section.
Then flash any stable marshmallow custom rom.

Hello everyone, I put a CM13 and she accepted the installation and updated the TWRP also, I put the gaps, I did everything, Android starts, but continues with the problem of falling straight into recovery and going to TWRP and something else when I can do it Start it is not with network signal, recohece the chip, but does not give network signal. I do not know what to do with this device anymore. Could you try to install lolipop on it? Which version could I put? Would it be because of being in 6? I installed this rom cm-13.0-20161022-NIGHTLY-condor only installed it right. thanks

Looks like you are using a very old cm 13 build.
Try this one. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224413102
This is cm 13 snapshot build by @Andersonmends.
Clean install is recommended ie wipe cache data internal and then flash this with pico gapps

Hello everyone, I installed Rom CM that the forum colleague indicated and the gapps and installed, everything went well in the installation and initialized Android, was very good in relation to the previous problems, nor know how to thank you. Just when I call it goes to the screen of the fastboot direct and I do not know how to make it not happen, but at least when the motorola logo appears it starts Android. I only notice a certain oscillation in the signal of the network of the operator and I did not find any file to download and to solve this problem of the signal of the network (or radio as you say) if they know where under some that can be installed for that Rom I thank you. I'll leave it for now and see if it's fixing. Thank you very much, ah, I would like to know if I should install the CM updates that appear on the device, it was so good that I'm afraid to accept it and thunder to give it a problem. Another thing he had TV, how to install this Rom? thanks

You can try flashing radio files.
Find one for your device from this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3167111
I m not sure why ur device is rebooting in fastboot. Generally the most common cause for reboot in moto e is faulty lock button. But that jst reboots the phone. You can try using the phone without pressing the lock button. Use volume key wake up option and double tap to status bar to lock.
Also did you wipe cache data internal before flashing ?
And regarding the updates it depends on you. The updates you are for sering are for cm 14 / lineage os. I personally believe that nougat is still not stable enough and features are still missing hence i advised you for mashmallow roms. But if you want to try u can visit the various threads in android development and android development sections and will find nougat roms.
For installing / flashing instructions read guides in general section.

Okay, thank you, it stabilized the signal from the network operator. I will leave as is and will not make updates at the moment. I just want to know how to make the TV function work. Thanks everyone for the help and I do not know how to mark a topic as closed in the forum.

No mobile data on Redmi Note 3 (kate) on custom ROMs

Hello guys,
as the title says I am currently with the mobile data connection not being established on custom ROMs, the official MIUI ROM works fine. Before trying to go to LineageOS 14.1 I ran this 13.1 ROM for quite some time successfully.
This is what I did since trying to migrate to Andoid 7.1:
I flashed the latest MIUI Global Dev ROM, this locked my bootloader again, so I tried this for installing TWRP and custom ROMs with locked bootloader and this for unlocking the bootloader unofficially. Both methods generally worked, but mobile data did work on neither of them (I checked for the correct APN).
So I tried to go back to the LineageOS 13 ROM (clean flash, since I accidentally deleted my backup) I used before, but it also does not work on that version anymore.
Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be or how I could possibly find out what causes this?
Edit: I am now actually back to the latest MIUI Global Dev and hoping that I am able to unlock the bootloader officially eventually. But any tips on the issue above would still be appreciated.
Edit 2: On the 8.0 NitrogenOS mobile data does work. I first thought that it yet had to be an APN problem, so I copied the settings from this ROM to the LineageOS 14.1 ROM and deleted all other APNs, but that actually did nothing, it still did not work. So I guess I will stay on 8.0 for now, although I wanted 7.1 because of XPosed.
Edit 3: Suddenly stopped working on Android 8. Seems to work on the first boot after flashing a Android 8 ROM and then not anymore. Going back to MIUI...
This post helped me with the issue. After a soft reboot mobile data just works fine even after enabling/disabling airplane mode.

Did you find a persistent method to solve the problem?
I have the same problem but Mobile Data only works after first boot and first soft reboot - than never ever.
BTW it works on MIUI ROMS without any problem.

Stuck on loading rom

I have unlocked my bootloader and have TWRP 3.1 installed. I have tried nitrogen, lineage, miui 9 but they are always stuck on booting, after I flash them and opengapps and restart they just have the loading screen for hours on end and will not load.
Any ideas?
same problem with mine, ive booted into AOKP but as i restore apps it just reboots again and again, tried clean install and format data install but is the same
DOESNT make any sense!
If you have unlocked bootloader unofficially LP roms & flashed Nitrogen Lineage etc they won't boot.
follow this tutorial http://en.miui.com/thread-345728-1-1.html unlock & rom will boot fine.
I went back to stock, these custom ones like Lineage etc are garbage.

Decided to try another custom rom. I keep getting prompted for an encryption password

Hello everyone
I've been using a 9.0 custom rom for a couple weeks now and decided to change it too another one to try out some of the features on another one. Now everytime I install a custom rom I keep getting prompted for an encryption password and I have no idea what it is. I tried to install over 5 different custom roms (all 9.0) but they all prompt for the password, I even went back to the original one I was using (Pixel experience) and now this one asks me for an encryption password. I have no memory of setting a password in the first place, I tried flashing the "DisableEncryptionZip" before and after installing the ROMS but have the same issue.
I tried installing an android 8 ROM but I keep getting stuck at the fastboot screen for some reason, I really don't know what to do from here! If anyone can help, thanks in advance!
Next Time type as password --> default_password

If you forget to flash dfe the first time you're done, you have to format internal storage and flash again everything; this happens all time you change rom but not if you update your current rom

When do you flash DFE?

When clean flashing, at which point do you flash DFE?
You first flash ROM, followed by DFE and then magisk..
Or install Orange Fox recovery and it will handle DFE across custom & stock ROMs. Everytime you flash Vendor Firmware it will try to encrypt your Data. Also every ROM supports encryption/decryption as well as twrp recovery. So really you do not need to disable force encryption at all.
I do this
Install Miui eu
Install 18.1 Treble
Reboot
Login
Install Magisk Manager
Reboot
There you go you're rooted.
*Miui based rom*
I do not use dfe personally I just stay encrypted
I Really Like To State Safe, I'm a Newbie So I Don't Know Much About This.. But Recently I Wanted To Use Some Custom ROMS and Kernel so I Went To Search How To Do That But Every One on YouTube or Reddit Says Flash DFE (Disable Force Encryption).. I Don't Want To Decrypt My Phone, So If Anyone Personally Teach Me or Tell Me Every Thing About It That How Can I Install Custom Roms and Custom Kernel Without DFE, I Would Be Very Grateful!

You are going to unlock your bootloader and use a custom rom. So nothing can save you but yourself. If you know what you are doing only then you are safe. Now about the encryption. People flash DFE because flashing DFE enables to switch custom rom without formatting or losing data. Without flashing DFE your phone's storage will be encrypted with your phone's password and in case you haven't set the password
when switching to another rom it will ask for the password. And this password is unknown. And the only way around is to format data. So it is recommended to backup data in case anything happens.
Thnk You! SO Its Mean As Long As Im Ok With Storage Data Lose I Can Use Custom Roms Without DFE.. If Im Gonna Switch Rom to Rom and Not Gonna Do any Sensitive Work on My Phone Im Ok With DFE.. right? One Last Think Can You Suggest Me Some Roms and Kernels For Maximum Performance In Gaming And Also Respectively Secure.. I Would Appreciate Your Answer..

Everyone has their own taste. Try different roms and find out which rom suits your needs. I am using Reloaded OS. It is a CAF Rom so performance is good and balanced battery backup. It has minimal but useful customization. Right now I am waiting for paranoid android. There are tons of options out there. There is pixel experience, lineage os, crdroid, havoc os, evolution x, corvus, etc
