Check battery stats first to see if anything is draining the battery abnormally since updating.

Hii.. I've just got my new redmi note 4 (SD) 4 GB ram variant 10 days ago. And after getting my device I updated it to official MIUI stable nougat update. Battery life was just great but just after a week I'm experiencing strange battery drain. My battery drops by 3-6 % whenever I check my phone after a whole night. Even when I just check my phone after regular interval my battery drops by 3-4%. Please help me as nobody will ever want their brand new device to behave like this... :crying::crying:
Having same problem. .its been 2 months since you asked for help. . I guess no help is coming,

Same here. I've been using stock BTU for like 2 months now. But battery life recently has been terrible. I can barely get 3hr SOT. Hopefully Oreo update that we maybe will get this year is going to fix that. Or even a Nougat update would be nice. As long as it fixes battery life..
Latest Oreo for N8 Exynos is currently CRB7 btw.

If you're struggling to get 3 hours SOT it's most likely a rogue app rather than firmware-related.

I haven't installed any apps on it. I just use it to browse web and for alarm. It also gets pretty hot.
Edit: but it only happens on BRA8. Before it was okay. I should probably flash odin version of BRA8 and that would probably help.
I just noticed that after the update that the animation scale in dev ops had changed to 1x from the 0.5 I had it set at, haven't noticed anything else as that note 8 isn't my daily driver but will be interesting to see if it happens to this one as well
Got it after manually updating, wonder how much more the 8.0 update will be delayed!

Yes i got too
I m getting ultra low download speed for the update. After 24 hours, i am stuck at only 15 percent. Anyone else having the same issue?
The update definitely has improved the battery life.
I just received a new Galaxy Tab S6. WiFi only version. (SM-T860NZALXAR)
It has Android 9, and One UI version 1.5 on it.
Should I update it or not?
Do they take away any features with the update that I may want?

What features are you after or you think will go missing once you update your Tab S6 ? i manually updated it and i'm loving it! it's really smooth and fast! Only nag i think i got a real slight battery drain or maybe it's learning my usage patterns then it will settle down as i flashed it with Odin i flashed Home-CSC as that keeps data intact..
I'll give it a week or 2 if the battery drain dont improve i'll do a factory reset but please note i'm talking about 2/3% battery loss over 6 hour standby before i was only losing 1% ove the same period!

I've updated and I see no reason not to. As far as I can tell, nothing's broken, everything works fine.
I just remember when my Note 9 updated from Android 8 to 9, and took away my automatic call recording. Which should not be an issue with this device. I just get nervous about the updates now.
I got a friend owning a Redmi note 9s. Three days ago he updated Miui up to 11.0.9.0 version . Since than he feels battery is draining way faster than usual . Is it a bug with the update ? What shall i recommend him do ? The battery on this device was amazing for him before he updated . Thanks in advance .

The bug in WiFi has been fixed in the new firmware, maybe this will increase the battery consumption!
Well, "fixed" isn't really true for some users that are facing the wlan bug.
The phone still disconnect from WiFi router every couple of minutes.
The change is that it RECONNECTS now few seconds later.
But I'm sure it is still not really battery friendly at all...
Xiaomi Eu 11.0.9.0 last roms , best battery life ever
My GTR got updated a bout two days ago to the firmware v1.3.6.05. I am curious about the following:
1. Is this the newest firmware for GTR? Where can I download the newest firmware?
2. The battery now seems to be able to last very long. I charged the watch two days ago, now it has 94% battery. I did not do much exercises in the last two days, but this still seems to be too good.
Thanks
My firmware and resources library got updated this morning to firmware v1.3.6.05, now my amazfit gtr47 crashes when I swipe down to enter watch settings, then reboots. Please help?

I downgrade firmware last night to version 1.3.5.79
And battery is now like before (remove this morning from charger 12 hours after still have 100%)
Just got my GTR today it loaded 1.3.6.0.5. I’ll keep any eye on the battery life. Can you recommend where to find good GTR tips here for iOS? Or even a section for saving stable firmwares? Cheers.
