Hi all, have note 4 sd 8.2.4 global , I have the problem of terrible audio in concerts and disco music or sport event , Do you know if there are solutions?

Same here. It's kind of software bug with noise cancellation. Hope it will be fixed with MIUI update someday...

Im from Slovakia and have a redmi note 4 global the newest stable ROM. whenever Im recording a video or make an audio record there is always a weird cracking/popping noise even though Im recording in very quiet environment. The noise is there whether I hold the device in my hand during recording or it is laid on the table. Here is the link for a video sample.

The problem is that the latest stable MIUI for mido (8.5.4.0) is the first one based on Android 7 and it's full of bugs.
You can factory reset the phone and check if some problems are gone. Or you can flash the latest global developer MIUI for mido that has ironically less problems than the stable (if you flash I recommends to use the fastboot images, as described here http://en.miui.com/a-234.html )

That's an old bug effecting almost all xiaomi devices. We reported it to the miui admins and they acknowledged it. I will remind them once again. Hope, they fix it soon.
I was discussing my question on muiu forum and a one bughunter from MIUI bug hunting team heybro2 told me that they are not aware of any of such bug
I dont know what should I do. I dont think that it is hardware problem. I did factory reset but problem still persist

I recently bought a xiaomi redmi note 4 global (4ram 64gb) but the problems.
I flashato the rom pixel expirience but I do not want the microphone in the audio (calls, telegram, whatsapp, recordings, programs to test the microphone) but when I make a video the voice is heard, thinking it was a problem of the rom I tried with the resurrection remix OS (nougat), aosp (oreo) cardinal (oreo) but also the same problem no audio yes video.
Tired of being quite strange situation, I turned MIUI 9 off and everything works.
Can you explain to me why this thing?
PS.I have given access to the microphone in all the apps mentioned above for the various tests

After installing custom rom you can try using a module from magisk "android mic fix". Although the description specifies that will repair low volume on the mic. Just check if you're recording anything with the mic at all or just the volume is really low that it should be.

no the microphone is not low just do not go. magisk no let me install due to an unknown ERROR 1 (version 15.3 / 15.4).
I am on custom rom ( Lineage OS 14 ) and I have found that my phone has audio problems lately. The audio was really weird for the past few days that I have been using my phone. A strange echo sound lingers in the background of the videos or audios when a person is talking or music playing. I stream videos on youtube very often so I noticed this problem very quickly. It is real headache as it affects my video streaming quality. The weird thing is if I skip a mere 10 seconds, fast forwarded the audio would be normal. Anyone have any ideas or solutions? Help me please THANKSS

The problem is that the sound oft the phone is distorting.
You can't understand anything.
Only when the volume is very low you can understand something.
After trying to play some music on youtube again thevolume turns totale quitly so the sound is clear but you have to put the phone directly on your ear to hear it's really playing something.
Upgrade to miui 9 did not solve the Problem. I also changed the speaker unite already ... Nothing helpend.
Also tried LinageOS. No solution.
The Sound ist clear with headphones and bluetooth speaker, too.
I have an example on youtube but can't poste it in this thread (because of the rules for newbies)......

Maybe the chipset is broken?

Even if I flashed to another custom ROMs on my Redmi Note 4, it will distort at high volume notes, the speaker is meant to play at quieter volumes. No it is not the chipset. It is the design problem.
I have a problem that when I'm recording movies, the audio quality is very bad. This mainly applies to recording movies in noisy places, for example in clubs. Instead of music, you can hear only buzzing, clattering and cracking. I think that reducing the sensitivity of the microphone during recording would solve this problem. Unfortunately, I could not find the right guide on how to do it on the internet. Literally all tutorials either do not work or show how to change the microphone's sensitivity only when calling. I tried to modify DEC1 and DEC2 values in literally all files whose name starts with "mixer_paths ...". It also did not help. I would like to add that the quality of sound on movies recorded with other phones in the same places is as it should be, the music is clearly heard without any disturbance.

ROM - Android 6.0.1 MIUI 10.2 (Dev 8.11.22)
