Hello all,
I have used my LeECo max 2 for about a month. In the beginning, before I updated to S17 from S14, I didn't have any problems with notifications. After the upgrade I have a serious problem with live notifications. Apps like WhatsApp, Gmail, Messenger, Skype, and more, might show messages immediately, with a short or long delay (min and sometimes hours), and not even show anything until I reopen the app. I made sure that the wanted apps have permission to run when the phone boots up and add them to the app protection list in the battery menu. I found out that S19 was just released a few days ago (leaked) and I had to try it to see if it solved the problem, which it didn't. I even tried to install 'heartbeat fixer' and 'notification fixer', which didn't really helped.
I really enjoy this phone, but I can't take it anymore. I can't get late email and messages, and I don't want to reopen the apps to make sure to not miss any important messages.
Did anyone had that problem and was able to solve it?
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thank you
same happened to me and i also spent way to much time trying to fix it, so I changed to cm13 rom
Do you know if I can install the latest twrp after upgrading to s19?

yeah it's fine, i installed it while on s19
just thought that we could use a thread for the sport users and comments on the AW2 update, considering how poorly viewed the Moto 360 v2 update was, and how many sport users would definitely profit from viewpoints of those who have the update.
I updated yesterday, and to be honest I was pretty excited. First things first, how the update went; while many people had difficulties updating, I had no such problem with mine. I enabled the always on while charging, got to the update screen, put it on the charger, and let it go( all done through the slow but not too slow Bluetooth connection). It downloaded, installed, and rebooted (which took longer than I anticipated). The setup process was quick and easy for me, and once I got setup I was off. The first thing I did was slide left for my apps, only to remember that this function is reserved for the watch faces now. I actually enjoy this feature, as it took ages to change a face on AW1.5( I can now put my favorite faces in a line, instead of setting the top three faces over and over until they were definitely in my recents). Next, I opened my app menu. This is a great feature now. The ability to put the apps I actually use at the top is very nice. Speaking of apps, let me touch on those. The play store CAN eat up some battery, so you might want to watch it(zing). It wasn't until I got AW2 that I realized that most wear apps are designed now with 2.0 in mind. The usability is increased, there are more options, and the apps are just..... Better. There's not an easy way to explain it without experiencing it.
Overall, I've been very pleased with this update. It seems more stable than AW1.5, not to mention more modern. I do have to say that the battery is going to die faster, but only if you're using it extensively. My watch battery currently is in a better standard than my phone's (but with a LG K10 what can you do?). Today, with activities including looking at my agenda, texting people back with the keyboard (which is so accurate I might DIE), looking through apps on the play store, and checking notifications, my battery is at 30%, and that's with 13 hours. Notifications, when set to high, work completely fine for me and I enjoy the new look greatly. all of the problems faced by the gen2 users I cannot find a existence of. I would recommend this update, as it seems that Motorola took the time they spent denying us our update and used it to fix the problems the gen 2 users had.
I agree - I love this update! With AW 2 the sport feels like a new watch. Sure, accessing apps is different than before ( no more swipe left) but that's fine - easy too adjust.
Battery life is pretty much the same as before for me and love the new look for the app drawer and notifications.
*Edited for corrections
Just got the update, I'll install it later and report back, I'm excited.
Update: okay I installed it a couple days ago and so far it's pretty smooth, better than before. Battery life is hard to tell yet but so far it's good, I'll update on that later. The OS has a ton of new features that were previously only on phones such as disabling apps and turning off Bluetooth which is cool. Typing on the tiny keyboard and with drawing is actually fairly easy. So far I'm loving the update, not a bad thing to say yet besides getting used to the new UI and it's various changes like opening the apps list with the button and scrolling fast up will scroll through the top notification (scrolling has more inertia basically). Oh, and the security patch is April 1, 2017.
Good post @Nobodyslight . I'm enjoying it too although I'm not using it quite as much as you are. I'll need to explore some more but right now I'm doing the Android O thing. One question is on notifications set to high. I haven't done it but I do like that once you view an on screen noti then it doesn't appear again unless you swipe up. You don't even have to swipe it away like before. With it set to high vs normal does that feature go away? In other words will the notification say on top of the face until you dismiss it?

It does stay, but you can swipe down to go back to the watch face. But I think under the app settings in settings you can change which apps can get that priority; so if you wanted only some apps to show up like that, you could arrange it that way

Thanks, but not seeing individual permissions. Not a big deal because I really don't want any app noti to stay on top. Good to know that is what high priority does. I'll stay away.
As for battery, I just hade a gps running (Strava) for the past almost 4 hours and I still have 50% left. I'll give it a quick charge now but that's really not too bad.
Mine was stuck on the 'continue setup on your phone' screen and I stupidly de-registered it with my phone. I can't even hard reset cause if I go onto recovery mode I can't swipe up or down. So it's pretty much dead any ideas?
Continuing here from where I reported in on the other thread; Went to bed with 100% battery and started sleep tracking from the watch on Sleep with Android. Put the watch into Theater mode and got a solid 6 hours sleep. Woke up to 50% battery. On Wear 1.5 I was waking up to 73~75%. Some watch owners that use Sleep are reporting that heart rate monitoring during sleep tracking was broken after upgrading to 2.0, while mine was so much more accurate than the last 3 months.
Overall, now that I've got vibration with my notifications, I've got hope for 2.0, battery issues aside. Overall the watch is much more responsive. The animations are smooth. The keyboard, I'm honestly shocked it works this well. Speech to text, 2.0 stomps the old 1.5.
I'm liking it ? We waited for a more polished version I think. I like my watch again.

You can try to factory reset without enter recovery mode:
1) from the watch Settings --> System --> Unpair and reset
or
2) from the phone, using Android Wear and selecting "unpair the watch"

Can't enter settings during the initial setup and I disconnected the watch but the watch stays hanging on the setup screen. I tried entering receiver to hard reset it but when I swipe up or down on the screen I can't change the option. I can only reboot
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to shuffle my running playlist since upgrading to AW2.0.
Has anyone figured out how to make this work yet?
But the battery life is not as AW 1.5 BTW which watchfaces do you use for complications support?

Hello everyone!
I have the next issue:
Google feed is not working AT ALL in the moto 360 sport.
I was a beta tester of google app, but leave the beta to test is that make the trick, but again a no-go.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The Google fees isn't as it is in the app. The only things that'll pop up in there is weather, and some location tidbits(assuming you have location on on your phone and watch, and you allow Google to give you location based cards)
I just purchased 2 of the 360 sport and first thing I did was upgrade them to 2.0. I originally had a Gear 2 Neo that was hacked to run android 1.5 on it. My wife had the Gear fit 2. So that is what I compare my experience to.
Here are my impressions so far:
Battery life seems pretty bad. I barely get a full day out of it. My Neo would easily go 2 days and my wife's fit 2 would go 3 - 4.
The screen doesn't respond as I would expect. It seems to not know exactly which way I want to swipe all the time.
Step counter is incredibly inaccurate. both watches consistently seem to only catch 50% of the steps. My wife is sending hers back for this reason.
Even though I have enabled "OK Google" in the settings, it never responds. Only way I can get speech recognition to work is hold down the menu button.
I have had mine randomly reboot twice. My Gear 2 Neo would do this occasionally but it was somewhat expected being hacked to run wear.
Not sure if I should send mine back and purchase a Gear s2. I did some Googling and these issues seem to be very common. Anyone have experience with the Gear S2 that can give me a comparison? Really like the 2.0 interface and the Moto360 is a nice watch, if these bugs were worked out.

Well that only took 8 months to fix! How the hell it was ever left out I'll never know....
https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/03/21/google-improves-play-music-experience-wear-os/
just bought a 2nd hand moto 360 sport and just in time for AW 2.0 to arrive. i had previously used a 1st gen moto 360 with AW1.5, but it has since died. gotta say, the AW 2.0 is looking solid, i enjoyed it very much, its more fluid, more easy to navigate.. but i think im missing something. i can't find the setting to vibrate or notify when my phone or watch is out of range of each other
Weibo Amazfit saying about new update, how i understand update is for Verge smart watch. Description talking about optimization, so maybe finally will be fixed some issues/bugs which was after past updates. As i saw international update must be about middle of month or faster

Well yeah, i know and understand that, but must be International/US update too in any days. Past update release about middle of July, so this one, even if released Chinese version, must be too about middle of August, i think. Most updates came similar time as i saw.
By the way if someone will get update for Verge, please write here what's new in it. Thanks in advance.

Last update for Verge International/Global/US version was released the same days as Amazfit watch app (Android), it's about July 13 - 16 days or closer to it, I don't remember now exactly date, but that was middle of July or closer to it. The same, I think, will be now too, even when you saying similar period. Coz last time Amazfit app for Android and update for Verge released almost or the same days, I thought after released of Amazfit app 3.2.0 version will be the same now. But looks like these update is not related with each other and releasing at different times and can be that ROM update will release without app release.
What's will be new? I guess: some new faces, bugs/issues fixing and stabilization, also can be new features/widget and ect.
Of course we will see, just need to be patience, but it's a little bit hard to do, when your watch battery need to charge almost every 3 days or closer to four, sometime faster. So I still waiting for battery optimization, of course I love all the time to get some new faces, coz Huami/Amazfit developers doing it great. Also still waiting Alexa or any other voice assistant for Europe/Global/International costumers. So I hope they will be as soon as possible, maybe this time
P.S. From next weekend I guess we can check is new update or not or just to wait notification about it in watch
Like I mentioned at middle of month must be update for Verge. So I got one today with number 3.2.5.0.
What's new? Actually nothing. Just some simple things like:
Redesigned dial pad, which, if say honest, did just with bigger number, that's all
Refined translations of Japanese, which for Global world is not need it. So again empty update from Amazfit/Huami, like was with Alexa update for US.
There are no any new watch faces, new features or bugs/issues fixed, which I hoped will be fixed at last. I don't talk about Alexa or any others voice assistant for Global world, even European costumers, which probably will not be at all until this model will get support.
In a place of that I can't to update my weather information, cuz in Watch app often I can't find location by GPS or at all to find it manully. GPS loading information very long often, manually writing that can't find.
If I did not wrote yet, thank you, Amazfit, for empty update which probably will kill my battery faster again and without weather, which information was until now often incorrect, but after update I will not know it now at all. Cuz I can't to update it, bravo ":good:" Perfect.
If you are not from Japan, I don't recommend to update, but... Probably you will have to do anyway... Cuz watch will do automatic probably that if you will not do later, but I hope i'm wrong and there is no automatic update in watch
ADDED SCREENSHOT
UPDATED: After factory reset of Verge in Watch app location is finding good and fast, even manually. So as always after update need to do factory reset too. Bravo, Amazfit, stability is perfect in yours software. But if say without sarcasm, when you do factory reset do it without restore in Watch app. As I know restoring only settings, with it backing all problems again. So don't do restore in watch app. Yours activities data will not lose at all and it doesn't matter that you can see it in watch, that day when you doing factory reset only this day you will lose in watch (will be not showing), but not in app. Others yours activities is safe. Past days I mean. But as I mentioned I don't recommend to update if you are not from Japan and small redesign is not important for you. Even if you do not want to reset yours watch factory setting and to lose in watch that day activities.
Yes, a tiny toon update for global market. Shame.

It's not for Global, I will call it for Japan only, coz redesigned dial when numbers just is bigger is not big deal I think, but maybe just for me, I agree really shame. Costumers still waiting for voice assistant, but even watch faces, new others features like payment via watch and ect., is not added in this update
SOME UPDATED INFORMATION:
After to update to 3.2.5.0 Verge ROM first day after factory reset wasn't synchronized sleep activity between app and watch (in app wasn't showed it), I had to add it in app manually. Tonight wasn't tracked sleep activity at all. I had to add it manually to app.
I STILL DON'T RECOMMEND TO UPDATE TO 3.2.5.0 version VERGE WATCH, cuz will be a lot of problems and always need to do FACTORY RESET. Which I have to do again. Coz I don't know where is problem that don't tracking or synchronized my sleep activity.
After 3.2.5.0 update.
My Verge was updated automatically and since then no problems - synchronisation works, sleep is tracked, everything seems to be fine.

Don't know, but I never had to do a factory reset after an update. Everything is running stable since at least half a year and battery/sync is good. I have to say that I use AmazMod for notifications instead of Amazfits own. Might that be a reason?

Maybe, I really don't using AmazMod and everything in my watch/smartphone is original. I mean there is no 3rd parties apps like AmazMod in watch or there is no rooted both devices. I don't know why i'm so "lucky", but I had did factory reset after update more time. But now after 3rd reset from last update everything working fine. I don't know or I do something wrong or something wrong with watch. Amazfit couldn't explain how to use it and where is problem.

I had some and still have: from wrong location in weather to battery performance (with most activated features only 3 days and this is the best tries, when before all updates which i got from March of this year, i could do not charge 4 days and was about 30% alive of battery)
By the way, have you any news when will be new update for Verge (ROM)? I thought some new features will be in August update, but was strange update at all, even for rest world costumers, except Japan, but this time I have feelings that upcoming new update can be with some news really (I mean new features and ect.), coz too soon i expected it in August update. So after month maybe will be voice assistant and ect., at last? I starting to thing that Amazfit is unfair a little bit with costumers which living in not US or China market. To advertising Verge watch with voice assistant which most market can't have it's not pretty steps from it I hope i will can use voice assistant until warranty will ends, i really hope... In others ways it's first and last product from Amazfit/Huami/Xioami at all :fingers-crossed:
P.S. Last time when i talk with Amazfit i got information that about new feature like voice assistant will be said to developers, so after month which i mentioned i hope they will add it to watch features list, also as i know developers must be informed about calendar widget in Verge and some others things. So ran out month, maybe at last non US/China costumer will can enjoy voice feature. Need massive ask about it, coz i'm afraid warranty will ends faster till we will get this feature official without any strange methods which was mentioned here like phone language English and ect
Where the hell is update for Verge? Already month ran out, there is no Amazfit app update too. I hope they will release huge update, not simple as was last.
At last Amazfit app for Android out today. What's new:
The satellite map mode is added into the workout tracks map;
The workout history summary page is optimized, and the sharing feature is introduced.
App you can update from Google Play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager (Version 3.4.1-play)
If version is not compitabled, you can try from APKMirror - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/huami/amazfit-watch/ (Latest version in here is 3.2.0-play)
Waiting update for Verge watch, which I hope will be in any days
do not update to 3.4.1, wait for 3.4.2.

Why? You mean crashing? For me working fine, there is no any crashing until now. By the way I don't use sport modes in watch and my smartphone still running Android 6.0, so maybe crashing only in Pie, which costumers reporting about this problem. About 3.4.2 there is no any information how I saw.
UPDATED: Released, but I don't understand why need this update if everything is fine? By the way do you know when will release ROM update for Verge and what will be in it new? As I know must be in any days (by plans, dates).
Seems that Verge was a very bad seller. Zero attention from Huami and updates that means nothing... Sad, it's a cool watch.
Hi guys,
I've recently bought an amazfit gts and I like it!
Unfortunately when I try to track a fitness session (free excercice, but is the same for other kind of tracking) my amazfit app doesn't track my heartrate well.
Actually it track only a part of the workout and it is really frustrating!
I.e.: if I do a 50 minutes workout when I check my zones on the app I found someting like: 2 minutes light, 7 minutes intermediate, 15 minutes aerobic, 7 minutes anaerobic...
so I lost 20 minutes of statistics! :|
At beginning the watch too was traking bad my heart rate zones; but now it seems to be consistent with the full workout time. (but I don't know if it's completely reliable)
The strange thing is that using a 3rd party app (notify and fitness) I found all the statistics and I don't feel any issue.
I found a strange statistic for sleep too... it seems like the app doesn't consider the not sleep time (yellow in the app) and my statistics are allways lower than real
here too notify and fitness do a better job.
Some other has same problems? it could be that my watch is not working propertly?
Just last question about gym based exercices... I see my heart rate is not so high, but I can't understand if it's correct or not (my upper rate is around 165...).
Some one else use this watch for HIIT or gym based exercices?
thanks in advance for answers!

Thank you very much for your answer!
Actually I've done a factory reset of watch a couple of time, and upgraded it to the last official firmware version.
About the app, I have the last version available 3.4.6-play for my device (Google Pixel 3a XL with Android 10).
Do you know for sure that these issues affect the 3.4.6 version and the 3.4.7 will fix them?
Thank you.
3.4.7 fixes a lot of syncing issues, as well as HR problems in GTS/GTR. Update and try it to see if it helps...

Ok... do you even know when amazfit will release the 3.4.7 version of the app? (on android 10 the last is 3.4.6-play and it has been released on November the 22th).
I created an Interval Workout from the Official Amazfit App, Synced it to the Watch and Tested it. Everything worked fine except the Lap Duration always show 4s, no matter what kind of pace I was running.
Please have a look at the Images.
So, have anyone here tried and got this problem?
Is it because of the Rom? If I update to another Rom, will it be fixed?
One more thing is that Best Pace in the Info always shows 0'00", which is really weird.
Thanks for your time.
Any suggestions will help.
Ps: I tested it right out of the Box.
