So guys, check out my screenshot, i was checking out system apps and i saw that force touch is here. And i am using A2017G axon 7, i think it means that there must be a way to turn force touch on on A2017G/A2017U models. Just like we modded Chinese Theme Store to A2017G/A2017U models. There should be a way to turn it on and use force touch on all models. Can you modders please check out and try to find a way to do it?

It's because the devices use the same software, but not the same force-touch screen. This feature cannot be ported, because it is hardware-related.

I am currently using CM6 official night build for Hero and I got some questions, if someone's kind enough to answer it
* Why is JIT not enabled by default ? I thought Android 2.2 had JIT stable, why is it not the case in CM6 night build ?
* Will there be a way to {over|under}clock directly in the kernel like the last 2.1 roms are doing, not by using the overclock widget that register on hooks and is much slower to switch frequencies ?
* ADW.Launcher is the default home, why isn't it linked to the market, like the GMap app is (it can be updated but not removed) ? We can install the market ADW.Launcher app but it is not the same app (the settings menu is not at the same place and the previous settings menu still appears in the phone's settings).
* In the Rom Manager app, it is said that I should install the ClockworkMod recovery to use the app. What is it ? Is it as crazy as Kubrick ? Seriously, I am currently using RA-hero-v1.6.2, what is this ClockworkMod, is it better ? Should I install it ?
* I saw that there was a way to skin CM5, changing, for example the color and image of the notification bar, Skins were installable directly with a barcode. Is there such a way in CM6 ?

That is actually something that I have been thinking about. I find that it would be really useful, especially in landscape mode.

Cornerstone does this, its open source and can be integrated into any ICS ROM, possibly JB too.

I've search everywhere in the forum and found;
1. Xperia Arc launcher for mdpi device
2. Xperia S launcher for mdpi device
3. Xperia GX launcher for mdpi device
4. Xperia T launcher for mdpi device.
Non of these are really what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for a launcher like Xperia go, miro and tipo.
1. 4 icons dock on homescreen
2. 3 icon rows in app drawer
3. On screen home button is at the bottom middle, not on top right corner
However, xperia go, miro and tipo does not have horizontal orientation on it's launcher.
So can anyone help me to port these launcher (from go / miro / tipo) and mod a bit so it does have horizontal orientation when I pull my mini pro keyboard out?

No. Actually I said I found the thread in my post. It doesn't offer what I'm looking for. I'm looking for Xperia go/ miro/ tipo's launcher, with 3 rows icons just like the original. I don't want the modded into 4 rows. Yes I know many wanted 4 rows but my reason is, 4 rows comes with the cost of cutting the apps' name if the apps' name is long.

You can simply edit the no. of rows and columns in launcher settings...

The Dev has a lot more important work to do rather than this one, And in Fact you're not the Boss Of All Dev that Paid Them to work for you
So Please Don't Said that thing again, There are a lot of workaround and Some Launcher has Option to set the Number of Rows

I respect the developers. Without them we won't have fun custom rom to use. But it doesn't mean I can't point the truth out, and I know truth might hurt someone. I'm prepared for the consequences of getting banned.
I really thought the developers are all friendly and helpful people. This type of reply was really uncalled. I was just asking for a help, and if you refuse to help, reject me nicely, there's no need to scold me. You need to lower your pride a bit. I'm not as smart as developers, that's why I'm here to ask if anyone can help me. If no, it's fine. Just that no one replies my thread, so I don't know.

I didn't just want custom rows. I went through my time to search for every thread, read every post and download every launcher to try it out. You are asking "I want this and I want that " and no dev is your personal dev here! They will do what many people feel it's good or what they feel it's good for the users. They know the best . You can't come here and demand the devs and question their knowledge just because they didn't fulfill your isolated personal DEMAND. This is a public forum and not your private forum nor the devs exclusively work for you, understand??? Please drop your demanding language and try to request the devs. Thank you.

Hi people. I've seen in the WhatsApp+ themes thread an interesting theme:

As you can see, it has both translucent nav and status bar. I know Xposed Framework has a plugin with this function but it does not work properly with WhatsApp, for example. My question is: How can I get this effect properly?

I have Nexus 5 so I am using 4.4 since its release. The translucent effect must be applied by the developer (e.g.: Pushbullet), is not by default in all apps. I know "Force Translucent KitKat" Xposed module does this, but it does not work properly with apps like WhatsApp. That's the reason I am looking for something to get the same effect of the screenshot you can see in the thread linked above.
Ah ok. I've never used Whatsapp, so didn't know they haven't updated their app to support KK. But looks like you need the actual Whatsapp+ app installed to be able to theme the stuff you are looking for. It doesn't appear to be in the Play Store, and I am not totally sure of the origins, so am hesitant to post the link here to it where I found it. If you need more info, just PM me.

thanks for your answer. I am using WhatsApp+ already (legal Spanish development ). The UI is same as official WhatsApp but you can apply themes published by the community. It changes almost all the UI but not the header (not at all at least). It's strange, and the member who posted it does not answer PMs :crying:

OK. I just placed it here since it pertains mainly to the Sprint variant.
Each variant has a dedicated group of topics and then a general group for all G3 variants. So you'd want "Themes and Apps" under the Sprint G3.
