Disabling Core on Chineese android smartwatch - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HI All
thanks for taking the time to read this and helping me out and bare with me as I'm fairly new to posting on these forums
Ive got an IQI I3 smartwatch that I bought from china , IT tuns android 5.1 has 512mb of ram and uses the mtk 6580m quadcore processor
My issue is that the SOC runs all 4 cores at all times and this smartwatch has a small battery so it drains fast
ive rooted the watch using kingroot and installed several cpu control apps but when I disable the cores through those apps they just instantly get re-enabled , does anyone know why this is happening ? is this a kernel issue , can I modify the kernel to stop the cores getting re enabled ?
Thanks

Q:why android devices are not rooted ?

My main question is ,why the android devices are not being sold rooted already?
why are they unrooted?
will a rooted device with 4 or 6 cores,running a PERFORMANCE governor,run faster than a iphone's dualcore A7 or A8 ?

android phones and Iphones are not usually sold rooted or jailbroken, because you have full access to the system and can brick your phone in 2 seconds if you don't know what you are doing(this is 2/3 of consumers) I phones are junk IMHO bc they restrict what you can do. also, It is not solely the cores you have, it is also the frequency that they run at that determines how fast the cpu is.
Buy a Zopo, the last Models (KitKat) come with root.
The governor only "say" in witch way the CPUs will clock fast er and slower. The max Performance is given by kind oft CPU (Tegra, Snapdragon, MTK) and the frequency.
And don't forget that this bitten Apples send all processes in background when a finger is touching on the display and the UI will get all CPU.
yea.keep going...
just tell me ,why should i buy an android if i wanna just to make my work with my mobile?
i just want to make calls, use facebook, use viber (all together ) and not lagging'
if i make all cores work together at android, will i achive a better performance than iphones?
(i dont care how apples works.they are just fast)

Running all cores at full blast will kill your battery and cause overheating and shutdowns. With your Android, all cores do work together, when needed. And when not needed, some cores will be at idle and active cores won't be running at full speed.

my question is still the same.
if i enable ALL the cores running together, not necesserally at full speed, will i be faster than an iphone?
would you buy a car that has been modified by others? so as the phone

My answer is the same. DON'T DO THIS.
Because root is useful only for users who know how to do with it?

Is it possible to unlock the 3 unused CPU cores on the watch?

I learned in an earlier thread (here) that the Zenwatch 2 is throttled down to only 1 core running at 800Mhz. My Zenwatch, while not totally unusable, does seem to be sluggish at times, and I would love to unlocked those cores to see that sluggishness disappear. As the title says, is it possible to unlock the 3 unused CPU cores on the watch? Maybe even get them running at a default clock set by the processor? I'd be willing to sacrifice battery.
Can anyone answer this question? I´d like to know as well...
Maybe Asus will reactivate them in a future update?
Would it somehow be possible to use a root app such as perhaps kernel audior to force the other cores to work?

please help me .. i need to overclock this phone

I have huawei mediapad m1 s8-301uv
Android jelly bean and there is no any update to kitkat
And it lags and crashes alot
It is a quad core phone but only one core is online
I rooted the phone and installed many programs to overclock like kernel adiutor and set cpu and others sometimes only two cores are online and the other two are offline
I need at least three cores online all the time even if it drains the battery
PLEASE HELP ME
Android 4.1 and 4.4 handle stuff similar and you won't see a big difference. These kernel auditor(and similar) only provide a placebo effect and are useless unless you a´have a custom rom installed, at least for me.
No matter how many cores you have the processor itself can be trash, dual core should be fine for regular usage if it's good enough.

Snap650, why installing apps use 100% of 1 A53 core instead of 1 a72 ? so slow

Hello, i am wondering if it's possible to modify it ? when installing/upgrading an app it use 100% of one of the a53 cores rather than one powerful a72 so it take forever to install.
it act like that on all phones with this soc or it depend of the kernel settings by the manufacturer ?
thanks you

CPU speed strangeness?

Hi all.
I got my self the Z4 tablet last week and I am noticing some slow downs with it and when taking a look at CPU-Z its showing some strangeness.
When I first turn on the tablet CPUZ shows the A53 Cores with a max speed of 1.96Ghz and 1.56Ghz on the A57. Witch is fine. but then if I go an open an app, say Chrome or play a game etc CPUZ shows both A53 and A57 a max speed of 1.56Ghz and cores 4,5,6 and 7 as sleeping no mater what I am doing. Even If I stress the CPU.
So whats going on there?
I do notice that when it shows 4 cores running the tablet get quite hot vs when it shows all 8 going its not so hot at all.
I have tried a reset. Its running 32.3.A.0.376. This could just be CPUZ giving incorrect info but I don't think so
Cheers

Hi,
Normally max speed A53 is at 2.05Ghz and A57 is at 1.71Ghz (reported by CPUZ and kernel aduitor on MM 6.01 rooted)
