Gear Fit 2 won't pair wit Endomondo - Samsung Gear Fit

Hi all,
I've got myself Gear Fit 2 yesterday as an alternative it FitBit Blaze i got distatisfied with over time. One of the things I've looked forward to was controling Endomondo from my wrist when cycling on raini day.
So, I akready have Endomondo on my phone and use is daily, installed gear app and paired gear with it. After installing the Endomodo gear app, I tried pairing it to phone, but I always get to "Click accept on phone" step as I never get that dialog on. After some time, gear shows some kind of Bluetooth disconnected error and asks to try again.
Has anyone else had issues like this? Any suggestion?
Phone is Galaxy S6
Thanks in advance.

I just went thru the same problem this weekend. I fixed it by uninstalling Endomondo off my phone then reinstalling it and logging back in.

Samsung Grear live not detected by updated DN3 rom

With the new update on 11/07/2014 everything including GPS is working great with this rom. Great job done by lacoursiere18 in making this rom. However my new samsung gear live is not any more detected by the phone's bluetooth. But it does not have any problem in detecting and paring with my fitbit. When I rolled back to stock rooted 4.4.2 rom, gear live is paired immediately. Any thoughts on fixing this issue ?

Just throwing out a suggestion, bc I'm not sure if your watch does this or not -
I have DN3 installed on mine too, and have a Pebble myself. After reinstalling the Pebble app, I found that the watch was not wanting to pair up with the phone. I had to go into the watch itself and remove the previous pairing I had with the phone's old ROM for the Pebble app to pick it up again.
Does the Gear Live have something similar?

devious_z, thanks for the response. I do not see any configuration option to remove the BT pairing in my Samy Gear Live. Next time when I reinstall ND3, I will try to play with the reset option in my watch to see if that can resolve the problem of being detected by the phone.
This is a let down hopefully will be fixed...

notifications stopped sending?

Purchased my gear S last night everything was working fine. It stopped receiving notifications today for some reason - no emails, SMS, etc everything else seems to be working fine.
I am connected by Bluetooth. Tried factory reset twice and even cleared cache on phone.
Any other tips?

ok
After amost losing all hope, it workes, not quite sure what triggered it back on. I decided one thing i didmt try was uninatalling gear manager app amd reimstalling it, did that which in return force factory resets the gear as well (it didnt matter cuz i had manually some that 3 times by now) and then it randomly started working again.
I do feel sometimes it misses some notifications, even if you select the option to semd all notifications.
As for firmware version, no update is available for me neither!
Firmware ending in ANJ3
Very strange. Notifications now not getting pushed, only getting SMS ones. Have not cha ged any of the settings. What am I doing wrong
Same problem here

No problem. Restart of the phone is fine.
Decided to format my entire phone.. Long overdue anyway.. Once i connected to gear thia time it prompted with update available (prev saying no updates avail) and i can see now its changed tonNJ7 and its only been a few hours but seems to pick up all notifications so far with no problem... Not sure why only after fomatting the phone did it ever ive me the option to upgrade but glad it did..
I had the issue, but realised I still had Gmail intercepting email and the Samsung email app was not configured correctly to sync. It's a shame the watch only works properly with Samsung's email app. It's OK but very basic.
As for the SMS, it happpened only once, but I rebooted both the phone and watch and it all works OK. Once again I was using a 3rd party SMS app that I hadn't disabled properly.
The SMS app from Samsung is also basic but I like the fact you can reply to SMS on the watch, so I am sticking to it for now.
I just checked for updates and found there is an update and it did fix the notification bug

Notifications stop after bluetooth disconnects, even after recconnecting
I have a Gear S paired to a Note 4.
The Gear S stops receiving notifications whenever the Bluetooth connection between the devices is lost – even after the Bluetooth connection re-establishes itself, and despite the fact that the Gear S is set up to receive notifications via the internet. I can replicate this problem - so its definitely not a random issue.
I have tried the following, without success:
➢ Restarting the Gear S
➢ Resetting the Gear S
➢ Uninstalling and reinstalling the Gear Manager app
➢ Checking for Gear S software updates.
The only thing that works (temporarily) is to restart the Note 4. But as soon as Bluetooth disconnects (for example, if I walk out of range of the Note 4) the notifications fail to work again.
My Gear S software version is R750XXU1ANJ4. Gear Manager indicates that there is no update available.
I've emailed Samsung, but haven't had any response yet.
Any advice would be appreciated. I love the Gear S - so not keen to return it.
Thx

[Q] Note 3 and gear fit manager problem

Hello everyone.
I have a Galaxy Note 3 with Android 4.4.2 and I bought a gear fit two days ago. I assumed these would work together perfectly. I downloaded gear fit manager version 1.88 and installed it.It finds and pairs with my gear fit, great!! As soon as it connects via blue tooth I get the error ''Unfortunately Gear fit manager has stopped'' instantly. Then it reconnects automatically then the error Unfortunately gear fit has stopped working this will go on and on and on, any ideas? Its driving me crazy it just constantly connects and crashes. I have tried resetting the gear fit multiple times erasing the cache and data. I have tried re-installing the app. I always get the same result. Is this a common issue?
Thanks in advance.
I now have GFM 1.92 but after installing it it wants to "update" me back to 1.88 how do I get around this?

If it gives you a choice just hit cancel. If it does it without asking just install the version you want and then freeze GearFitInstaller.

Marshmallow Woes

I have a stock ATT Note 4 which finally received the M update (yay!) except it kinda broke my gear s (boo!) Watch is working, as far as a watch goes, and still connects via bluetooth. However, I am not getting even one single notification for ANYTHING. I have not changed any settings. The only thing I've tried was a factory reset, which did nothing excpet lose my pedometer steps for today. Any clue? I really, REALLY miss getting those notifications...which is my primary use for my beloved Gear S. Please help!

This issue was solved by doing a factory reset on my watch. Oddly, it didn't start working properly until a couple hours later, but it does now give me notifications again! I hope this helps someone else that may be having the same problem.

Question Samsung Galaxy Wearable/Galaxy watch plugin keeps crashing after MIUI 14 update

I am using Galaxy Wearable with Galaxy Plugin for Samsung Galaxy watch classic.
After MIUI 14 update its not keeping Bluetooth connectivity properly, its getting disconnected after few seconds.
I have uninstalled whole software and reconnected watch but issue still exists.

Have you tried Factory Resetting the watch?

Same problem, but on Note 10 Pro. Watch just randomly disconnects, bluetooth connection needs to be manually started again. Tried reinstalling apps, restarting watch, a2dp, turning off miui optimalization, and still nothing.
Everything was working fine on android 12. Now the lifetime of my active2 watch is down from 3 days, to maybe 1,5 days.
Anybody has any ideas? I am considering downgrading to android 12, cause it's so bad.
Thanks!

I performed a phone factory reset and everything started working again. Lost all my data, but watch works fine now. So yeah, great update.
