I've been used ARISE Deuteronomy v2.4 on stock OOS 3.1.4 and currently on custom N. Best combo with Sony Music (i've never used other players).
Can't tell for Magnum Opus ver. the file just too big, Deuter. v2.4 satisfied enough.
Note:
→(only) If it does not working on your device, then you need Selinux=Permissive. or...
→Disable/uninstall audioFX/musicFX "if" cause conflicts.
*further details Just read the ARISE Op thread.

General Rom Question (Kate)

Hello There!
Which will be the best rom for Kate?
I used RR Nougat by now.Witch Psyman´s Firmware for VoLTE and the Camera flash zip.
Edit:
Should have said:
I just want a stable rom with good german translation. Less as possible extra Programms. Just enough with little Goole (Nano i have) And not must installed Apps.
Smothely run etc.
And well a good UKW Radio connection.
And pls with SuperSu or Superuser not the new Magic etc.
Additional question:
I didnt restart into normal rom after installing TWRP but internal Storage is correct. So im Ok? Or did i a crucial mistake?
First of all, there is no "best ROM". Everybody feels different about roms!
I would suggest the official LineageOS.
You can flash SuperSU manually. Just be sure you flash the latest zip.
Ok, which SuperSu should i flash=?
In the Lineage OS Thread it is written.
Official weekly builds: https://download.lineageos.org/kenzo (IMPORTANT you read this before proceeding with installation!)
I dont understand that good. https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...neageos-14-t3542491/post70719075#post70719075
Additional: As i wrote i Flashed Psymans Flashlight firmware and VoLTE do i need to flash it again?

Workaround: Use the ROMs with the fix included.
Status: Fix is released.
Severity: Medium

Please Also paste Fixes and links in front of each line if available.
I just tried AEX 9.0 and Pixel Exp. 9.0 and only major bug is Video recording that can be fixed via Footej or open camera,
And fingerprint gestures that is still under fixation.
If we deactivate Pick up in Ambient display than Hand wave Ambient display works
Much less bugs only in Pixel Experience Pie..

Try the method in link, above
1: Root your ROM
2: Install Es File explorer
3: Go to system/Build prop
4: edit file and in camera section add line
" persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
Reboot phone and video recording will work.

I've obviously done that. GCam requires HAL3 to be enabled to work at all... AFAIK Video doesn't work at all for some apps in Pie.

Pixel Experience is showing Rapid charging and all other ROMs showing slow charging with normal charger,.
and i have noted down time with normal charger Pixel Experience is charging very fast.
Boot leggers, Arrow os, AEX, CrDroid all showing slow charging. i still do not know the reason why only Pixel Experience is showing "Rapid Charging" :silly:
Edit: in My opinion Arrow OS and CrDroid are very good builds, but because of slow charging i went back to Pixel Experience.
I have Devices same model and in both same results, one device is for testing and one in my use.
I am unable to get that Fingerprint scanner when i install any Oreo custom ROM, but at Pie Custom ROMs it is working very well, Any clue that how to activate that.
I found a downgrade zip tp flash after ROM and whenever i flash my phone go to Bootloop, and than i back to Recover and i am unable to mount any Firmware,... Than i have to flash stock Oreo by Fastboot to get alive.
Than again flash TWRP and so on....
Anybody can Help here?

Oreo ROMs require Nougat fingerprint firmware. You should flash the firmware through Fastboot, not TWRP.

You mean i have to flash complete Nougat Stock ROM before flashing Oreo custom?
I do not Understand why people spread wrong fixes on Forums if there is only fix to switch from Stock Nougat to Custom Oreo and Stock Oreo to Custom Pie...
Dear All please do not consider any Fingerprint fix via TWRP, just follow the stock procedure.. Thank you @JarlPenguin

Follow the instructions inside the ZIP. No need to flash Nougat stock again or else you will get a hard brick.

I never updated Bootloader and Partition.gpt i skipped both commands while flashing Oreo, but let me check instructions shared by you. Thanks man..
Question:
I have to do this after flashing Custom Oreo?
And if i will flash Pie again Fingerprint will work?
@JarlPenguin I have tested and created a guide to fix the Fingerprint at Oreo and PIE Custom ROMs as there was no guide anywhere, to ease the people, thank you for the guide and files, you can add link in Post#1 if you want.

Yes, but you need to flash Oreo firmware to be able to have fp on Pie ROMs.
Updated guide again with link.

Rom suggestion

I flashed a bunch of AOSP/LOS roms (they are similar anyway)
I wanna get back on MIUI, i am looking for a rom based on NOUGAT MIUI
My top priorities are
1. Video over LTE
2. Bluetooth Audio call working
3. Should be stable

Vilte is fixed on pie.
I suggest you to use revolution os but it is in marshmallow

Can anyone recommend me a stable custom ROM for the 5g version?

Hello everyone, after struggling with basically any custom ROM that I have tried, I'll report the errors here that I've had because I need a ROM that works decently, hopefully.
Paranoid Android (Android 10): frequent random crashes and reboots, audio codecs broken (some audio is really bad).
Lineage OS (Android 10): failures flashing it.
ShapeShift (Android 11): even more frequent crashes and reboots, mobile data not working.
Arrow OS (Android 11): I couldn't even complete the setup because of services crashing during the first configuration after flashing it.
I'd like a debloated ROM, less is more.
Or, if you have a flawless working ROM among the previous ones, please just link me the MIUI (and the firmware, if needed) I have to use to make the exact same installation you have (this is driving me crazy, it's about a week that I'm using a not decent phone). It's the 5g standard, no pro/ultra/lite.
Thank you.

Well, I have tried like 7 stock ROMs recently, almost all of them were as unstable as the custom ones.
Anyway, I've done the cleanest install possible (flash stock - format - flash custom - format) with Arrow OS and apparently like this it's quite stable.
