Hi evryone i am actually living in french so sorry for my bad English.
Anyway i am writing on this webstite because i have a problem with my honor 7.
Well i have this phone since one year and half now and i didn't have any problem with it since april 2017.
My phone use to turn off randmoly when the batterie is load over 30% and all the time when the battery is under 30%. I try many app on the playstore to calibrate the battery but each time the same issue. I also try a factory reset but nothing change. I don't know if it's software problem or the battery ? I can reboot the phone after this problem but when it started it turns off 1 min later with 5% of battery. Do you think i have to use the warranty or i can fix it by my own ? i am using the offical os.
Thanks for you help
I am having the same problem too!
U could try Accu battery, it shows the health of you battery too, it could be dead or malfunctioning.. I had a random problem that needed replacement the motherboard.. it's just stuff, and stuff break, and yes it should hold for longer but somethings just don't do as it should sorry got no fix:crying:
Thanks Ford the reply
So i downloaded the accu battery App and after 10 Charles it says tuhat My actual vaatteet capacity IS 265mah instead of 3100 anyone know whats the problem ?

I would definitely say that your battery is about to die, and I would check if your garanty is still valid and then get it changed I had rooted mine and custom ROM with Xposed and then it crashed.. but because it was before my garanty ran out my service center replaced the motherboard for free, and I got an almost brand new phone back:good:
And that said, it was unlocked bootloader, rooted, custom ROM + recovery and they didn't even flinch, they just took it and fixed it:good:
Thank you for the reply but
My warranty has ended already so do you think that i should
1.replace battery
Or
2.somehow try to get motherboard replaced by third party somehow
Yeah, Accu battery says mine´s 90% of original capacity. But with problem least for half of day with moderate usage. B390 after factory reset... My last honor phone

I think you need replacement of your battery, if you can boot, even just a little, then it's not a dead motherboard. When my motherboard gave up my phone completely died, no boot, no charging, only sign of life was 2 vibrates when holding power button for over 20 sec... damn it was dead:laugh:

That's wierd.. what does the other stats say??
Estimate Capacity: 2816 mAh
Stats says:
Discharging speed: 139mAh - SCREEN OFF
Battery last: 19h (screen off) / 12h (screen on/off) / 5h SOT
Most battery using: "Huawei Home", Chrome, ....
It says "Combine Use" - 17h ....but after few hours it´s less than 30%.
GPS OFF, 4G data turn on, 2 SIMS, no Wifi, Facebook and Messanger App is killed (restricted to run on background).... dont know.... I dont have time to setting up my phone over and over all day long after factory resets...
Think about using my Moto G 2nd again

I think i also have this problem, where battery drains in one hour and phone shuts off at 30%. Phone is still in warranty, however I have read that honor only gives 6 months warranty for battery and charger. Which I don't apply for, since phone is a year old.
So the question is if it is a motherboard related problem or a battery related problem?

My phone drains the battery very quickly from 100% to 1% but after reaching 1% it can be used for hours.Last time after the full charge battery dropped from 100-1% in about 2 1/2 hours of use on WiFi but after that it lasted for more than 13 hours on 1% but the Network data, Bluetooth and WiFi was off.
Currently i am running CM7 stable (battery fix is also applied) i was also facing such issues on the stock 2.3.4.
maybe a battery re-calibration can solve this issue?

I bought my Atrix 3 weeks ago. My previous device was also another Motorola, Milestone.
When I first started to use Atrix I found that the battery was draining so quickly even I didn’t install any apps yet. It was becoming 1% in 70 minutes with full display and running default apps.
I tried to full battery several times, did factory resets and finally went back to shop. The shop replaced the battery with another new one.
Still it happened same problem. Then they changed my device with another new one. It was same, too.
I would give it back to shop but last time I decided to discharge it until it turns off.
At this point I found that discharging takes long time after it became 1%. For example by heavy using it becomes 1% in 70 minutes, then it takes at least 200 minutes more even I watch videos via Youtube, play games etc.. It means in total it takes at least 4,5 hours with full display and heavy usage. That’s OK for me as battery life.
But I want my battery meter show correct percentage. Then I can be able to know when it will turn off.
I tried battery calibration several times. I search a lot about this problem but found nothing. Probably people thinks that their battery life is too short.
So cannot find solution.
Summary: My Atrix’s battery meter immediately drop to 1% and then runs 3 times longer than previous 99%. PLEASE HELP ME TO CORRECT MY BATTERY METER DISPLAY.
Do you think that your battery fix way helps me?

I don't know. I bought it, and unlocked it directly, then flash CM7 Rom, but noticed that the battery drain very fast. However, after the indicator becomes 1%, I can still use rather a long time. I thought it was an error on battery meter, but I can't make it display correctly through calibration.
Now if the battery is fully charged, I can still use rather a long time after the indicator becomes 1%. But after the battery drained, it can't be charged completely. It really disappoints me very much.

Ya that's the same problem i have i think its something to do with phone recognizing the mah capacity of the battery if u can see the charge-full-design in sys/class/power-supply/battery/charge-full-design u will notice it showing only 500 which should be 1880 that's why our phone drops and charge quickly according the capacity its getting from charge-full-design.
This value can be changed on other phone but for Motorola i have not found any tutorial or app to do so

And for charging don't take off the phone from charging on 100% bcoz when the phone battery meter is showing 100% its battery mv is less than 3900mv and if u keep it on charge after 100% battery mv value will gradually go up to 4200mv which is the actual capacity of the battery.

Oh, thanks. The value in sys/class/power-supply/battery/charge-full-design is just a result, representing the battery statue. So the key is that the battery capacity can't be recognized correctly by the phone. I just test another battery, and the value 1880!
But the former battery doesn't look like a fake one. Actually, I bought them together. I can't understand.
Hi, just to start i will say that i have been googling a bit before posting.
what i have:
A rooted European Galaxy S2 on stock ICS rom.
problem:
when i charge the battery full overnight and use it, the phone shuts off when the battery is 50% empty.
allright, there was some problems with the USB port thingy, so i changed the UI board to a brand new one. but that didnt help either.
allright so i rooted the phone and deleted batterystats.bin
didnt help
Then i let the phone charge fully when it was turned off.
when it reached 100% i pulled the battery for 2 minutes and put it back ind.
deleted batterystats.bin and started to drain the battery once more, but the same thing happens. dead when it reaches about 50%.
i have been trying with two batteries
the one I got with the phone, and a new one i bought 2 weeks back.
Now I'm sitting here with a phone that needs a new motherboard or what? :/
PS. Sorry for my bad english, I'm a Dane, youknowright?
btw. i attached a picture of the batterystats after i did the battery calibrate and was draining the battery.

Its either a f8888 phone hardware or something is draining the battery .
Use Better Battery Stats to check drainage but this is more likely hardware .

its a hardware fault, because it turns off when it reaches 50 pct. no matter WHAT im doing..
You said that you tried 2 batteries , can you test one of them on another Galaxy S2 or not ?
if not , can you test it using Multimeter or Voltmeter ?
the batteries can not be both faulty unless you have a very bad luck
returning your S2 to the service center is the best option unless your warranty is voided or expired then you have to pay for the service.

actually just tried a third battery that i borrowed from a friend, and that seems to be working fine, will write back later when i have made 100-0 run.
Hi,
I feel that my battery is going bad after about 8 months of usage. I'm not sure if i still have the warranty (it was bought in different country).
I changed to fully stock rom but it's the same.
It get's fully drained in about 8-10h. Light usage. Even with all the stamina mode/low brightness etc...
The worst thing is that when it's down to about 30% or less, it starts acting up. The % would drop to 0% and the phone would turn off, then after i would turn on the phone again, i would see 70%, then 22%, then 30% again, something like that. After that it might "hold" and work for a few more hours or it might just keep on turning itself OFF.
What the hell is wrong with it...?

You open it up search for Xperia P service manual.
Maybe it's not the battery just the stats? How long do you charge it?
hi, thanks for your answer
i charge the phone overnight and in the evenings
from 7am, until 16:00 it is almost empty with virtually no usage since i'm at work...
sometimes i need to charge it couple of times a day if i use it frequently
battery stats have been deleted, new rom and all...don't know what more to do

thanks, i'll give it a shot and when i'll have all info i'll post it here
For Less battery, go for Custom ROMs
I don't find this kind of drain now.. I felt it in my previous ICS. Now am in Enigma 6.1. This ROM has some mod, which will makes the phone enter in to deep sleep mode after 5 minutes. This makes it more battery friendly....
MoonBreaker v3.5 also a good choice.
sorry guys, i forgot to post my results, i will try to get that info by tomorrow
Anyway, i found this on ebay and i'm thinking on giving it a try. Do you recommend i buy somewhere else? Is there a more quality product out there?
I also found a dissasembly video on youtube how to get to the battery and it doesn't seem that hard + the battery on ebay comes with all the needed screws which is nice.
I have tried 5+ roms and none of them changed anything.
But something troubles me...i spoke with a guy from the Sony repair shop and he says that it's not necessarily the battery, it might also be a problem with the motherboard.
I do not have the warranty anymore so motherboard would be the worst option. Phone works normally though...
I hope some results from the mentioned apps might shed some light on this.
HI
Why dont you try DU Battery App , it will help you to charge it fully. What i observed is that even though the battery status will show as 100 % but when you check Setting --> About phone --> Status --> Battery status it will still be showing charging & if i keep it plugged in for another hour or so it turns to battery status --> Full. So using this App DU Battery you will be able to actually fully charge the battery . Also if you try a custom rom with custom kernel like nemesis 6.3 you will be able to change the cpu govorner settings and can save more battery.
thanks, i'll check it out
i have locked BL so no possibility for custom kernel

I own the 42 mm version, and my watch has been going completely dead while showing anywhere between 30 to 35 percent battery left. I will look down and it will be a black screen and unresponsive until I put it on the charger. I can't really try and calibrate it because I can't go to 0%. Has anyone else seen this issue or have any suggestions?
Only time i've seen this is when it's a bad battery or it's dieing. Seems like it's hitting runaway voltage and just dumping the entire battery. My phone does this when it hits anywhere from 20-35% left. Going to take it to verizon to verify it's the battery but that is my assumption.

I have the same problem since 6.0 update and i did one factory (unpair) reset but it dit not help. So i was ready to return the warch (warrenty). but i had battery calibration under suspicion, so i did full charge and then resetting (unpair) it over and over again just to get quick down to 50% and then i made shutdown and bootup until it went compleatly dry (mine dyed at 20%) then it had a 2 hours break until i got home. Put it on charger and when it started, this time it show 2% !!! (not 20%)charged to 100% but this time it charged to 75% and stayed there a while and then went straight to 100% . I think the software is having a hard time calibrating this small battery, or it was the 6.0 update f****** up the battery calibration. I think mine is ok now. I hope!!!
Had the same issue with arround 10%. Returned the watch. Got a new one. Same issue. Waited a few days and did always drain it fully and charge it fully. Works ok now. I was wondering what is your battery capacity ?
My battery capacity is 282. It is better now but it is not 100% ok. Now i can go down to 7% before it dyes. I will give 1 week, if it is still the same i will return it.

I had exactly the same results. I think it's because Motorola actually has less than 300mA battery in these watches. Quite frustrating I would say.

What capacity does your new watch have? and you say after a few dayes it is OK does that mean you can go down to 1% now before it dyes.
I want to have the upper hand when returning it to warenty but i dont want to return it if i will only get the same problem with the new one. In the end i could be forced to live with it because this is the only SmartWatch i want to wear at corent time.
The problem is that it only gives 1/2 the time it should in power save mode, when 7%=0%

I had the same problem with the 42mm dying at 30%. I returned it and got the 46mm. Haven't had the problem so far with the new 46.

well from my first day of testing.. mine died @ 30 %.. since I bought it used from someone on SWAPPA, not sure if its under warranty still.. not sure if I can re-calibrate it or try to return it.. :-/
after a factory reset it did go down to 26% but still shut off early... so not sure what to do... I spoke to Motorola who said its out of warranty so would be $75 to replace / fix... that is about what I paid for it... so not sure that is the route i want to go... right now its at 72% and its 1;20pm.. so its doing good on battery right now.. just hard to estimate when it will die since it doesn't go to 0..
After installing cm 13 (probably 1 month ago), my battery life started decreasing day by day..
i.e. suddenly falling from 14% to zero..
Than it increased to 20%...and than 40%
I tried calibrating my battery , still the results are same
Finally I went to service centre..after seeing my battery, he said..it isn't a hardware issue because whenever a battery damages it expands in its size..and mine seems to be normal..
So I installed carbon rom(KitKat) to check, whether it's a hardware issue or software ,after charging to 100..I didn't got any bump ..as I checked till 2%..
It gave me exactly 4hrs and 2 mins of SOT ..is it alright?
I m attaching a pic of stats..
My question is..- is it possibly a software issue or hardware?
Please help me out in sorting this issue
Thanks in advance
I am facing same issue.I suggest you to flash exodus ROM though it may not help you with this problem but you will get better battery you will get 5hrs 30 min to 6 hrs SOT with normal usage.
Whatever you stated exactly the same thing happened to me and I did the same what you did I.e installed the Carbon ROM.
Just slightly improvement but no luck.
You got full drainage without a bump. How lucky you're.
Finally I replaced my battery with the new one and all became normal.
I think it's probably the battery problem.

Vl check for few days, if the problem persists..I vl replace it!
Anyways ty
Before replacing I suggest you to try stock optimised. Carbon ROM drained a lot of my battery at idle state. Its better now with stock optimised version.,
I have also tried stock optimized, yes the drainage is not as carbon but the major problem is that bump in the drainage, so I am sure that the problem related to the battery.

Unfortunately , today ..when I rebooted at 40% charge ..after booting it was 7%
Definitely a hardware problem..so I m gonna replace mah battery ☺
Same issue with me will replace battery.
The service guy insisted me to not to change the battery..
According to him ..it's not a battery issue, it is something in internal circuit..
Because , he had already replaced more than 15 moto batteries all with the similar problem ..in last 2 months..
Out of which more than 5 came back within 2 days claiming that the problem still exist...
Is it possible so?
Luckily changing the battery worked for me.
