Download and install Android System WebView 58.0.3029.83. That fixed Play Store for me. Strangely I had no issues with file-explorer nor browser.
I noticed that gps was really wonky and couldn't navigate while playing pokemon go. Adaptive brightness and the extra boost in direct sunlight was not working either.
Wakelock's fixed. You're my hero @alexax66

I faced no issues with the stock browser or the file explorer. One major bug I noticed was the system UI being slow and crashing on occasion. Also, you cant use 3rd party apps to take videos. Snapchat, Boomerang, you name it, and it crashes when you take a video. It was the same issue with other builds, even those of Aapav01. The sensors not working is a step back because they work on the kernel from the Alexax66's patch. But I dont wanna flash the patch because a lot of other things stop working when the patch is flashed.
New bug: There seems to be serious issues with audio. Skipping between apps when music is playing causes it to skip. This bug was already fixed in the previous builds, but shows up again in the new build.
There seems to be freezing when certain operations are performed, taking a screenshot, for example.
Sometimes the music would stop playing when headphones are connected when a screenshot is taken. It would only play when you disconnect the headphones and play it on loudspeaker. Plugging in the headphones again would cause it to play into the headphones and speakers simultaneously. Only a restart fixes this temporarily until it shows up again.
I'm kinda starting to like the older builds better. If only there was a fix for deep sleep for the older builds.
Very Nice work
Hello i installed this on my Phone and it works great but i have sometimes little freezes and no sound by playing music a restart fix the Problem Thanks for your hard work. Regards from Germany . PS: The aosp Explorer and Browser works great for me. Edit : Fail the Browser is not AOSP it's the LineageOS Browser "jelly" Sorry, but it works

Soooo, I took the leap and flashed the patch from build 1 and its the best build ever. The slow system UI is fixed and its smooth AF.
I hadnt flashed the patch initially cuz I thought it would bring back the wakelock bug, but it stays fixed.
Hello thanks for the Hint with the Patch it's fuc.ing smooth now but the Sim Card Bug is back Edit: I flashed the 20170526 Build over the patches Build Sim is working again but it's slower again...
I've flashed onli the build from 26.05.17. It seems to be a good thing. But the bluetooth car system dosen't worked for me - no sound. And some randomly freezes.
Thanks for the hint with the patch.
Best regards
Adrian

Can you link to the patch you flashed?
The only (28mb) file/zip, that is the patch by alexax66
I flashed the 26.5.17 and the patch 2 (28mb) and it works great but I still have the sim bug...
Has someone got a fix for this?
Thank you very much for your hard work and greetings from Switzerland
Hi Jonathan,
I've had the same issue. Also in Switzerland. I don't used the patch zhen simcard is usable.
But me hurts the bluetooth audio issue in the car ?

Official experimental cm11 build compiled and posted today.
This is a different build from the one posted on the 6th..
I'm using this one now..
Data/LTE, bluetooth all works great.
H/w acceleration I think has been fixed too.. Can play videos on YouTube but some videos played thru chrome are a bit glitchy on loading fullscreen..
Have not tested any games.
Only GPS doesn't working. And WiFi location too.

As soon as I fix my Z Ultra thinking it's a Homani I'll test this out to confirm (Well, this and the weird audio issue I was having). I'll just try out a few apps that use HW Acceleration to see.

Yeah, that's the Recovery's fault i believe. Just flash boot.img before flashing CM, and it'll work just fine. I'm using this one.

Yeah, I figured. The wait time's actually just to get the ZU fastboot drivers installed; Flashtool is taking forever to download. Though thanks for the link, I was just going to use the boot.img out of this CM instead.
Here are the things i've found so far:
- Videos are really glitchy, but they play with audio
- YouTube (HQ) works perfectly
- H/W acceleration is fixed(?) (got 30063 in Antutu, which i assume would be impossible without h/w acc.)
- Audio bug is still present (can't adjust the volume)
- GPS doesn't seem to work
- I have full root (which i didn't have on the unofficial build)
- WiFi/data works fine
- Calling works fine
- Camera works, but it has some focusing issues when recording videos. Also, the videoplayer glitch is also present when trying to play recorded videos.
Alright, I got it up too, so here's my observations (I didn't have time to do a heavy observation, but I confirmed a few things).
-Location seems to work, or at least it wasn't doing that "Locating" icon in the task bar like it usually does when the GPS doesn't work.
-Like LordManhattan observed, video playback is functional, but glitchy as hell. If you're listening to music on youtube it works fine, but otherwise it's not really good. Much better than it was before.
-On the older one I had an issue where I soon as I loaded GAPPS audio on the entire phone would break. That's been fixed.
-I used Drastic to test the graphics (Though it may be a poor test, because I think it's a software thing). It worked fine.
-I don't seem to have the audio adjustment issue everyone else is talking about.
On the whole, I think it can work as a daily driver now... I kinda need it to since my only other option ATM is DoggRom.

Is YouTube playback glitchy for you? It worked (i'm back on stock for now) perfectly for me. No glitches at all, but local videos and other streamed media have ugly glitches.

I used Viral at first to confirm the video; Viral's video is glitchy, but sound is fine, and Youtube itself completely. Good catch!
Also, I retract my previous statement: Location does NOT work.
Double posting for more coverage; Sorry if it's counter culture here.
More Observations
The Expanded desktop is currently kinda broken; It hides the actual navigation bar well enough, but certain parts of the interface still think it is there; For instance, when attempting to place icons on the dock in say NOVA Launcher, the window to place them is insanely small; The display recognizes that the nav bar is gone, but the other recognition stuff isn't functioning. (Other symptoms: The colorization for the Status Bar in Landscape mode goes to fully transparent where the Navigation bar would be; When brought down, the notification tray only goes down to where the navigation bar would be).
Adblock Plus is broken and can't request root; Now, to be fair, this isn't actually the ROM's fault directly, but is caused by the fact that Adblock Plus doesn't list super user request in it's manifest, so SuperUser denies it without giving you the prompt. Or at least that's what I figure the problem is. Adblock Plus needs to fix that.
And then I remembered ART was a thing and decided to Enable it, so the rest of this will be my comments on how ART functions so far.
First thing I notice is that it takes a long time to load up; As expected when you know what ART is, but still, worth pointing out; Don't be surprised when the CyanogenMod logo stays on a bit longer than it feels like it should or that it takes a while to build the apps.
I'm not sure if this is placebo or what, but everything feels... zippy with ART enabled. Like the whole thing kinda just zips along, except for the installing of apps, which takes a bit longer than normal (Though not perceptible for smaller apps).
So... yeah, it works pretty well, mostly. It definitely needs improvement, but for an experimental first build? VERY successful.
One final observation: Bluetooth seems a little wonky and won't seem to stay connected. It connects, but after a little bit just disconnects. I'll investigate this more later.
EDIT: Another observation: The navigation bar doesn't auto rotate correctly, and this relates to why the status bar's coloration messes up. No matter the rotation of the phone, the navigation bar will come from the "Right" side of it in landscape, and the "Bottom" in portrait.
How can I edit my WIFI MAC Address in CM11 ?
Hi everyone.
I have a problem with my A5 2016 (Snapdragon Version), the problem is YT app, I can't play ANY video in 1080p60fps.
I have this problem since I updated my device to android 6.0. I've tried everything what uncle Google suggested me.
Clearing data/cache, reinstalling updates...
When I had android 5.0 problem was solved by disabling HW overlays and forcing 2D GPU rendering in dev options.
Details of a problem:
Image freezes
Sound does not
I also had this problem while I owned S4, but then, I didn't even had option to choose 1080p60fps. (cm13 OPTIMIZED)
Phone not rooted, stock kernel and ROM, Knox flag untouched.
(1080p50fps works perfect)
Thanks for all responses.
Fix
Hi m8 found a fix! Just by using OGYoutube (unofficial yt app) 1080p60fps seems fine, on my device at least.
Try this, maybe it'll work.

It's not the problem I described (I can choose 1080p60fps, but image freezes and only audio is still going), besides I already did this what they suggest.
Does it do that on even the browsers?

Yup
Found an "solution", minimizing app and playing video after coming back to app makes 1080p60fps working, although 1080p50fps works flawless without this, only 60 is the problem
Hello there,
I'm encountering some problems with my bluetooth headphones when I start games. As long as I'm using Spotify, Youtube etc. everything works fine, but in games I have like 0.7 to 1 second audio lag. It always occurs, no matter if I've also connected my BT gamepad or not.
What I'm using:
Device: bq Aquaris X Pro 4gb/64gb
Android: 7.1.1
Baseband-Version: 1-00333-8953_GEN_PACK-1.110987.1
Kernel-Version:
3.18.31-perf-g23e2fe9
[email protected] #1
Fri Nov 10 09:54:40 CET 2017
Build-Number: 1.5.1_20171110-0910
Additional info: Unlocked Bootloader, rooted (Magisk 15.3 (5.5.5))
Bluetooth headphones: Teufel Move BT (Bluetooth 4.0 + apt-x)
Bluetooth gamepad: Stoga STM01 (Bluetooth 3.0, also known as iPega BTC-938)
What I already tried:
- Reconnecting all devices
- Resetting all devices
- Reinstalling Games / Software
- Testing audio-altering software, just in case it'd change anything
- Deactivating any other connections beside bluetooth
- Uninstalling any app that could cause those problems, like antivirus
- Checking CPU Load (~25% in games) and RAM usage (never completely full)
- Fiddling around with audio options - doesn't change anything
- Looking up if it's a buffering problem (didn't find any information)
A kinda interesting observation I made is that the lag seems to only occure when he got (game-)footage to render. There isn't even any audio lag in the Rockstar logo video when I start GTA 3, but it starts when I load my savegame. Doesn't have to be 3D though, it happens with GTA 3 as well as Angry Birds or PPSSPP, ePSXe or any other emulator I got.
The bug probably was always there, I just happen to notice it now because it's the first time I got a smartphone strong enough for something I'd call a "fully fledged game".
A friend told me it's maybe a known problem with the Android 7 stock ROM, but since the internet is full of bluetooth problems on android I'm not sure about that. I would've tried a custom rom, but there isn't any rom for the Aquaris X Pro yet (even though there's a team working on a Linelage OS 15 port). Just buying cheap headphones to play with isn't a real option, since I'd also need a new gamepad (my current one blocks the audio port), and I'd be forced to always change to crappy sound when I want to play a game (The Teufel Move BT are really high quality).
There's actually an open beta programm for Android 8 Oreo for my device, but I don't really want to unroot (Some apps I regularly use need it) and accept all the telemetry....
Created a logcat file (search term "bluetooth"). Just connected the devices, moved around a bit in two apps with BT lag, and disconnected them again.

Anyone got an idea how to fix this?
Greetings,
Serry
I have the same issue on my Galaxy S9+. Same lag value in games only. It seems like Android bug and can't be fixed by users unless they deploy a fix.

Same problem on Note8 (Exynos), while on games only with powerbeats 2.
same happen in note9 (exynos) while on games only with oneplusBullet wireless
It's an AOSP issue and it makes me frustrated that no body report the issue to Google itself. It's been years man!
OEM roms like oxygen os and one UI have fixed this issue but the problem is that they have closed sources for their oos and one UI... It's an issue deep within the aosp code... And will continue to occur in all aosp roms ?
We should ask Google to fix their aosp for this!
Hi, after upgrade to Oreo I have strange problems with sound and videos. Don't know for what reson the sound stops suddenly and the video works frame by frame. It does not matter if it's video from gallery or YT or music from spootify or built-in player. After reboot everything is ok but no one knows when it will happen again.
EDIT: ok I know when this start to happend. After using of @cstark27 google phone app ;/ Anyone can confirm that?
look for an apps that eats CPU or has memory leaks.
however you might put it... your installed apps are to blame
I can confirm that problem. It also happens with other gcam mods. I guess for now using the stock camera app seems to be the only solution :/
EDIT: It only seems to happen when using HDR or HDR+. During the HDR post processing (which is inidicated through that little loading animation in the gallery app) music suddenly stops playing.
EDIT 2: I think i found a solution. As odd as it may sound, but enabling camera.raisr in the developer settings stops the camera from breaking music and video playback.

Mhmm very strange. I did reinstall the app tough. Maybe the combination of reinstalling, enabling camera.raisr and clearing the apps cache afterwards fixed it
Unfortunetly still the same...Have no idea whay is wrong.
Does enabling the camera.use_photos option on both apps, and force closing/rebooting solve it?
So it seems that to fix the issue, one need to do this in that order :
• Clear Data from both apps
• Reboot (might not be needed but sound safer)
• Go back under Developper settings of both apps and uncheck camera.raisr and check camera.use_photos
Seems to be stable after this, even after subsequent phone reboots
Will add this to this forum sticky
Thanks cstark ! Will keep you posted if the reboots come back.

Hi there,
i hope I'm in the right section.
So long story short:
I have here a Sony Xperia Miro (mesona) and i found a almost fully working cm10 rom for this device.
I noticed it doesn't playback audio to bt devices.
Both ui sounds and media does play on the phone's speaker.
Inside a logcat it seems like it's connecting, enabling a2dp but then routing back audio to phone speaker.
I was wondering if it's possible to fix easily (maybe a bad config file?)
Do you guys have an idea.
It would be a perfect mp3 player if bluetooth audio works.
Thank you so far
Hey, I have the same phone. I stuck on ICS because of the same reason (bluetooth audio not working). What you can do, like I have done, is go to this site: https://shivangdave.com/roms/ via the wayback machine (go back as far as 2016 and pick any snapshot), and get AOKP kitkat. CM11 and Carbon (kitkat) roms are available, but they're slower and buggier than AOKP. You'll need to flash the boot.img from the AOKP zip via fastboot for the rom to boot, and voila! Everything except the camera and brightness slider works in this rom (you can fix brightness using lux lite), including bluetooth audio. And if you don't install GApps, and just sideload the apps you need, it's pretty smooth. It even works great for streaming from spotify and soundcloud, you just need patience. You can also use it as a podcast player.
EDIT: Sorry if I'm a bit late to the party.

Yeah you're too late
I also found the archived download website and got at least one of the builds to boot but since it has some bugs, i switched back to cm10 and had a deeper look into it.
And it's indeed a bad config file.
Don't remember which one i guess it was mixer_path.xml or the like.
So i downloaded a random cm10 build for another device and started comparing files.
In the end, i extracted the necessary file from the zip and throw it onto my device.
Guess what it's working!
If you're interested in the fix, i can take a look in the evening, i have everything on my pc in my personal CM/LineageOS archive for all my devices and some documentations aswell.

The file you have to replace is located in /system/etc/audio_policy.conf
The zip file is not flashable! Extract the file and place it in the directory via file browser.
Hope it works for you just as it did for me.
