Hello everyone, after my battery discharged at 0% and the phone was off, I was no longer able to charge it with the connector.
Now it charged for all the night but the % is the same of yesterday. If I put it in charge in the external dock it works well.
I doubt it's the connector of the pèhone because until the battery was discharged it worked normally.
Till yesterday i used the Foxhound rom with Perseus kernel, now I use Revolution HD with stock kernel but nothing changed.
Any suggestions? Thanks
Are you using the OEM charger? They are known to be faulty/POS!

yes it is
but till 3 days ago everything was ok
i have 3 different chargers and they all don't work well after the battery went down
Battery voltage has dropped too low for standard charger to initiate charging, either obtain a special charger or replace your battery (cheaper).

Charge the batterys to 100% then test the other chargers .
Could be dirty USB port poor cable .
Poor connectors .

No, phone will only draw amount of current it needs....
please forgive for the bad english.
im really skeptical that the samsung adaptive fast charger could damage my battery in the long run,
so i brought this phone charger and it says rapid charge and havent try it. i just want to make sure that 1a charger can do rapid charge or is only a gimmick?
i just want using normal 1a charger. thanks
Your AC wall adaptor is OK. You have correct values: output 5V-1A, the same as iPhone AC adaptor. I use original iPhone AC adaptor because I don't want to overheat the battery.

You should charge your battery when it reaches at least 10% . It's not recommended to discharge all the battery.
Is it a good idea to replace stock charger from a 3.1A output charger, Our stock charger's output is 2A but stills its charging fast.

It supports 18w quick charge 3.0.
So preferably use a quick charge 3.0 charging brick
I have tried 18 watt and 33 watt as well but still rapidly charging

Cannot understand your English, Mate
If you are using fast chargers, of course it will show fast charging
This battery charges very quick, even on a 10W=5V x 2A
I use the laptop USB and that charges quick also
Does anyone know if its safe to trickle charge your phone?

Download an app like ampere from the playstore and check the charging values with the different chargers. It will more than likely say rapidly charging for anything above 5v 2a charging which is quick charge 2.0 but this device also supports quick charge 3.0

If it's 9v then yes. If it's charging 5v and 2a then its not fast charging like it should.
Check the voltage also.
Basic maths; to get Watts (w) multiple the current (amps) x voltage (v).
So if it is charging at 1.9a like you say it should have a voltage ~9v

Then i guess it was charging fast, thanks man
what values did you get on the 33W, is it advisable to overcook your battery?
Btw, have not really pushed this battery yet, charging be 40-80 %

It doesn't work like that. Your device has protection built in to avoid overcharging and too much current from frying everything. The max your device will charge is 18w and no more
