Hello everyone,
I just bought the Bqeel XT9 and I would like to use it on a pc screen that hangs in my attic.
The screen level connections is dvi or vga, so I bought a dvi / hdmi adapter, problem is that the x9t does not seem to handle the resolution 1280x1024 of this screen.
I have a buddy who owns a mini pc odroid-xu4 with the same adapter and same screen resolution that runs with a custom rom of Android tv (lineage os 14.1) and told me it was possible to adapt the resolutions on Android change a few lines in a boot file.
He does it via an application dedicated to his device, I would like to know if anyone would be how to proceed on this box.
Ty in advance.

I did not want to necropost in this thread, so I'm doing a new one. I was thinking about using this media player as a Kodi based audio jukebox so I've bought an DVI->HDMI cable. But when I use it to hook up the Mele to a 19" TFT, I'm not getting any signal. It's not the cable cause this combination works fine on a WDTV (that won't ever run Kodi). So how can I change the resolution on Android-Version 4.2.2 that's installed on the device? Or could I upgrade to another Android version? If not, would installing Sunxi (i.e. Debian with XBMC) work? Thx!
I could not do this on more than one kernel
Hello,
I have a Tablet PC Samsung XE700. I am not connected in HDMI directly from my Tablet PC. This tablet is placed on a support and this support is connected to the external display.
I removed the old version and formatted the hard disk and I installed completely Remix OS V2.0.403, but HDMI resolution is still not correct and it is not full screen on my 24 "screen. :/
What is the solution?
hi i just recently installed remix os on my Intel Classmate netbook, i used to use my netbook for content streaming and youtube, but i wanted to use for remix os becouse its way to good for me at the moment.
this little pc has a 10.1 display resolution on its own, i have a 42 inch TV where i used to watch content with windows on the same PC, on windows it displayed a 1920x1080 resolution on that screen
but in remix os when i connect via HDMI to it shows a 1366x768 resolution (with black spaces)
how can i make remix send the output resolution to 1920x1080p?
thank you.
I am new to x86 Android. Would really appreciate you helping me with this question.
Question: Is any flavor of Android out there that can support Dual HDMI output that is not mirroring or cloning?
I would like one hdmi to stream a youtube video on my tv and other hdmi for my touch screen. Is this even possible? either in Remix or android-x86.org version?
Thanks!
Hi,
i have bought an mx10 tvbox, i am connecting to video composite to rca on screen fujitsu plasmavision w 50". That screen is oldie but 1080 capable, i tried to connect the tv box to the screen with the hdmi cable and a converter to dvi-d in the other side but that doesnt work, you only see the initial boot screen and then you can see on the screen OUT OF RANGE and then nothing. i have read you need to change the hdmi auto to manual resolution on the tv box, for that i used a newer display connecting hdmi to hdmi an tried all of the resolutions manually wich i changed on the newer display and then connecting to the older with the same result, no image at all only the boot MX10 screen. I´ve tried all of them including 720 and even 480 and again no result, do you know what could be happening or how can i make the tvbox to display on my older screen thru dvi-d?
thanks in advance, i have some advanced knowledge on linux/android/windows. i even tried connecting my windows laptop to the older screen with the same cable configuration and it worked perfect at 1366 x 768, have even tried changing resolution on tv box with "adb shell ws (several configurations)" same result at all, what could be posibly wrong if windows laptop displays flawless on my old screen but not my tvbox, how can i fixit please? any experienced member?
