Guys, I flashed epic rom v7.5.18 yesterday and it boots up well but it is showing when after complete setup that"an account is situated with this device".
I searched for that mi account that the rom is showing up but This account is not related with any of my other mi accounts.
After,that I reseted my phone and also cleared all internel memory and then again flashed.
But it is showing same. Please help!!

Ok here is the problem my gf was putting new rom on her phone last night and when the new rom booted up there was no gmail. No rom manager. So when I try to get into the market it says do you want to create an account I hit yes back to home screen. I've tried dl rom manager on PC but there out of date so I hit dl rom it says I must first update. No market no update. So I try to do a restore to her last rom. It says could not load skipping. And nothing back to this same one. I've tried factory reset everything I could think of. If anyone has a link to the newest hereon rom manager that would be awesome. A way to put another rom on there where she can at least have contacts and the market. Anything. Oh and I also tried to add account through accounts and sync no gmail only Facebook. That only worked for contacts too. Any help please thanks guys!!

I have an HTC Amaze 4G phone which I had rooted properly and flashed speed rom successfully. I had an issue with the phone's contacts so every now and then the contacts memory goes blank and shows "Zero Contacts". After a few minutes it comes back to the original state and shows all contacts again. I tried to restart the phone when the issue occurred but it did not help. I thought I might have installed a software which is causing this issue so I did a factory reset.
After the factory reset, to my surprise, my phone was unrooted. I can't understand why that happened? Can anyone please tell me the solution to both problems?

During Factory Reset, root gets overwritten being in one of the system folders. As for contacts, there may have been corrupt contacts. If your contacts are backed up to google, then now that you've run factory reset, they should be fine. You can test the contacts after each install you do to find out if there is an offending app.
Hello, I did a factory reset this morning, on the first boot phone asks to configure the wifi settings as usual, then gmail account, after checking account it asks me to log in with one account that was previously sincronized on the phone (wich is the same account I tried to log in in the first place and the only account ever used on this phone) I tried several times but no succes, always the same, after login with the google account it goes back to "check your account" I don't know what else to do, the phone is on stock marshmallow 6.0, bootloader is locked. If I log in with my google account on PC, I can see that the phone conected with that account, dont know why this is happening, I've made factory resets on my moto g3 several times and never had this problem before. Hope you can help me to solve this

Hello Devs
Today I unofficially unlocked the bootloader and installed ZCX TWRP and flashed MIUI 8.0.6 Global Stable ROM with MI OTA survival enabled.
Now when I rebooted the phone and after initial setup it showed that this device is connected with my MI account, I tried to login but it won't let me do it.
It continuously showed error for logging in MI account. It showed finding your device. I was unable to go to main screen and phone remained in initial setup.
Rebooted multiple times, cleared Dalvik cache. But nothing happened.
Then I went to I.mi.com and logged in, removed my device from console.
Tried again to log in after reboot and somehow it skipped that part and phone started to home screen
Now, strange thing started happening. Settings are not opening at all. It's just crashing and crashing.
When turning off find my device, I am getting below error (see screenshot).
Guys please help me, as I am having fear that if I flash MIUI 8.1.6 via updater, I may face this MI account problem once again.
Any prompt help will be highly appreciated
After flashing another Rom on my phone (mido), i just can't login to any google service. Its says "There was a problem communicating with google servers. Try again Later"
The first time i rebooted after installing the ROM (which in case is Ressurection Remix Final) and putted the wifi to configure the google account, i got stuck on a screen saying "checking info" FOREVER.
IDK what to do, because i can't use any google services. If someone knows the issue, i would be apreciated.

what gapps and what build did you use? also is your wifi functioning properly?
I used the opengapps the latest build. I also tried to use an older build, but nothing changed. My wifi is working fine. I can access the internet on the phone with no problem. I installed some apps via APK to be able to use the phone, but is hard to not be able to log in the google account.
I tried to flash other ROMs, even the oficial MIUI and the same problems persists. Maybe is the wifi, but the internet is working fine i have no idea how to fix this.
OMG, i found the issue. I just had to take out the SIM card, put again and reboot the phone and worked !!!!!
Now I'm able to login to google services!
