Hi,
got a new Gear Fit 2 and I can't install any new watchfaces via Galaxy Apps and also not update, copying to Gear always fails. I figure it's got to do with bloatware/packages I disabled via package disabler pro. Anyone knows which one it could be, any kind of beaming/connection service? Thanks!

Hi,
I used a Gear 2 prior to Gear S.
Now, I am unable to install my appsto Gear S because they are installed on Gear 2.
On the Gear Apps store, when I find an app, it says "installed" on the button instead of "install" and does not let me install again.
How can I solve this?
Thanks.
Gear Manager App>Settings>Scroll Down>Uninstall Applications
Now you might feel dumb not being able to find that earlier but I tell you I had the same question and someone gave me help on that :good:
I was trying to connect my Samsung Gear Fit, to my mobile using the apk that was provided in below link, but the Samasung gear fit manger fails to come up.

I have installed CyanogenMod on my mobile using a custom ROM. For the first time I was able to start the GearFit manager and connect to the GearFit watch, but after updating the google play services, the GearFit manager is failing to start.
Did anyone of you face this sort of issue??
I there any way to debug what's going on with the app? (may be, some logs that I can check)
Android Version : 5.1.1
CynogeMod : 121-20150708-NIGHTLY-sprout4
Thanks,
Raj.
Same issue here, also made a newer post. No replys yet

I just got a gear S and I am having the hardest time finding out how to get apps to run after installed. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, so I don't know if this is an issue...everything works fine, it connects and all that. When I download and install from the app store, the apps do nothing once i press on them on the watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I tried using a 3rd part program to install widget files but don't know how to do that either (and yes I have USB debugging enabled)
Hi Everyone,
So apparently after updating my XA2 Ultra to android 9.0 I am unable to install the themes I used
via APK. I read on the internet that this is something Sony is disabling for some reason.
Does anyone know a way to install a theme using the APK file and not from the Google Pay store?
Every time I try to Install them It just tells me that it couldn't be install and that's it.
Any help will be appreciate it.
Thanks everyone.

Hi,
I used to have the same problem, for *some* APKs even on 8.0. What i did (not sure what caused the problem, actually) was:
1) Enable unknown sources via dev. menu
2) Disable the Play Protect and built-in antivirus(es), e.g. AVG
3) Disable app checking from Google options (this might be tricky, because the app itself didn't show me this option, bit it came up eventually, don't remember how, i think when you try to install the .apk via ES or some other file explorer.)
Now it gives me the "App not installed" or "Unable to install" only when i try to update an app that was not originally installed from the Play Store, but (for example Aptoide or other Black Market store) it can be remedied by simply uninstalling the old app and install the new one.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
