Same problem with me in all latest nougat roms.
But focus was working in intial builds of 7.1 du.

Bugs are the same of CM (IR should works). For battery life it depends by your usage.

It's not prerooted u gotta flash magisk ! Everythings stable!! battery is amazing with zanezam's kernel with impulse V3 profile !

Looks like a really nice rom! Where can I get this kernel ?
Has someone already flashed it and can tell something about battery life, network drops and overall stability?
One of the best roms I have used, great battery life , along with the dark theme included in the os with the OTA updater, for the camera I have installed footej camera from the playstore , else everything is smooth and amazing , thanks a lot for bringing this amazing rom @marchetto96

7 hours SOT without data, WiFi and just screen on..
6½ hours SOT with wifi and surfing

QS setting is laggy for 1gb variant
i found some bugs, like a red thick, hopefully fixed, but over all its a good rom for viper, like 7.1.2 and power consumption is draining to fast..

I have already use Magisk got root successful. Nice. ^^
Did test this ROM and this is better than Oreo version; it is much like the smoothness of other Pie ROMs around (LineageOS, Bootleggers, ...).
The only (very minor) quirks I've faced so far is that the "nag" screen from phone app and messaging app like on the screencap (maybe due to having no GApps flashed; I'm using Nanodroid microG, which is lighter alternative for GApps), and the home screen won't wake the device (much like the LineageOS); otherwise, these won't bother me for my use and everything's working fine, including RILs, messaging, home screen functions, camera and video, and all. :good:

2. What is the camera here (stock or google camera port)?
I tried this rom in my j500f, still the recording app crashes whenever you play the recorded audio or r.screen just like in oreo (viper). Home button doesn't wake the device although it's good but i back to my previous rom again Btw, BIG thanks

Is casting working?
I installed it and noticed:
pros
1. The battery keeps excellent;
2. There is a built-in sound engine(AudioFX);
3. Many system settings.
Minuses
1. Performance is low (slows down the interface);
2. It seems to me that the brightness is not put on full.
3. The brightness slider from the notification panel has gone somewhere (I don’t know if I’m somewhere).

No. Volte is only supported on stock rom ports. So if you want volte the highest version of android you will be able to get is 7.1.1
