I have a pushed pin on the sim card slot. Any fix?
You can try to put it in place again and hope it works or just order whole card "reader" online. It's like 1$ and replacement is super easy (its juz one screw and plug)
Depends what you mean by "pushed pin". If it is bent then the chances of straightening it are slim. If it is just stuck down below its surroundings then try to use a dressmakers pin to lift it back up.

Hi, today while inserting sim card(with some force ofcourse as it was not going in easily), sim card stuck there and after half an hour hard work, I was able to pull the sim out. After that everytime I inserted the sim, phones says no Sim Card
I figured out that one of the sim slot pin is broke and its not properly making any contact with the part of sim.
So, I wanted to know if anybody faces the same issue and whether they have contacted the Sony Service center and any estimation of cost to be incurred in repair.
Or anyone got their phone repaired by simply soldering the Sim Slot on the motherboard as when I disassembled the phone, I found that the sim slot is soldered on the motherboard.
Any suggestions???
I guess that you could do this:
1. Resoldering
Remove all the cover. Separate everything from the motherboard.
Desolder the SIM slot. Get a old SIM slot from a old phone(Or just get it somehow). Then Solder it, wait for it the dry and reassemble.
2. Turning the warped contact back.
Do the same steps as step 1. Then use a tweezer and gently twist the contacts back. But be careful, it may end up worse.
3. Give it to Sony
Only do this if it is still under warranty. Replacement of motherboard is very expensive,to the extent you would rather buy a new phone.
They will most likely replace the whole motherboard.. The price of the motherboard is approximately 80% of the whole phone normally. Backup your data first.
Last one
Buy a new phone. But first you must be loaded.
Hope it helps!
For a some reason I had to install cutted(from mini-SIM) card into my phone. It is little bit thicker then tipical microSIM card. Of course I cut it manually, using template. But, during pluging this card I broke push-pull lock of SIM card holder. I mean now I'm not able to pull the SIM from slot by pushing it, like I can do with SD card.
I little bit disassemble the phone(up to see simcard holder) but do not found the way how to fix lock.
So I'm looking for HQ images of working lock and maybe some explanations how it works. I guess metal legs bent, but i'm not sure...
I have a nano SIM that I had put in a micro sim holder and have been using. last night I wanted to swap the SIM card and when I pulled the tray out, the NANO SIM card has come out - but the SIM CARD TRAY HOLDER and MICRO SIM HOLDER are struck to something inside and not coming out - I think inner edge of Micro Holder is struck to something. I can push in but cant pull out....
any help how to get it out.

Don’t force it out. you will break the sim pins connector inside phone. It seems the sim adapter hang up with some of the sim pins in the phone.
try to insert thin piece between the adapter and the phone connector. see if it will free the adapter
I pushed in my nano to micro SIM converter in the slot without the actual SIM in it.
Seems the pins are not angled on both sides since I had a really hard time pulling the converter out. And when I managet to get it out I saw the pings are not even, some were pulled up a bit...
I pushed the SIM after and it works, but it really is an effort to do it. And to get the SIM out I really need a tweezers.
Also the carriage that comes with the tablet is not good anymore for getting the SIM out
Anyone knows how much will it cost me to get it repaired? I still have guarantee for half an year left...
Or atleast if I can find replacement carriage?

look on ebay for spare sim tray, or sim slot.
Hello. I purchased this phone in UK(Now i am in Italy). I found that my sim card is a bit thick and now it's stucked. Thanks
Try using a small pair of needle nose pliers. Or, don't try and force a micro sim into a nano sim slot, or upside down, or any foregn objects, and it wont get stuck.
