Hello everybody! I am in research of a dual sim phone with dual 3G capabilities, dual sim full active (as Huawei P8 or P9) and preferably microSD card, at least 64 GB, minimum 4GB of RAM.
Any ideeas? Is there anything like this available?
Note: There are a lot of dual sim phones available now but either full active with 4G/2G or dual stand-by with 4G/3G.

Hi, I thought I read somewhere that having single sim in a dual sim phone conserve battery better than having 2 sims simultaneously. Is that correct?
Q. Can you run data on both sims
Sim one is straight talk
Sim two is freedompop
Honor 5X has Dual SIM Dual Standby or DSDS. These devices have two receivers and one transmitter. As soon as one SIM becomes active other goes in standby. This is applicable for both Calls and Data.
Dual SIM Dual Active mobiles can have both the SIM active at the same time. In this case, you can use both SIM data in parallel. Since Power consumption is more for Dual Active mobiles, those are not preferred currently.
Hi.. I bought a mate 10 pro and had hoped to set it up as a dual sim device... Imagine my horror when I pulled out a single sim tray :crying:
If I buy a dual sim tray will the phone support dual sim or are there different versions of the phone.?
TIA
Look for posts on xda from funkyhuawei that mention about rebranding to a different model/version which will enable dual sim function.
Hello everyone,
i could take this phone as an upgrade with my current plan, however it is of course single sim.
In EU there are any differences in the hardware between single sim and dual sim (other than the sim tray slot)?
Thanks

I wish it was that simple, could use that functionality tbh... Unfortunately you can not convert a single sim card phone into a dual sim card.
This is because the phone lacks the necessary connections/hardware internally for dual sim card support.
Has anyone tried getting dual SIM to work on the US spec A21 or any other US spec phone that use an elongated single SIM tray?
Any chance these phones actually have a dual SIM reader and are only software limited to single SIM?
