Hi there,
I'm using LG G3 (F400L) and I have just bought a USB ethernet for a LAN connection instead of Wifi. But I don't know to install (compile) the driver. Any one kindly help to show me step by step to do this. I got driver files as below, but I don't know what will I do with these files:
.jp1081_android.o.d
jp1081_android.c
jp1081_android.h
Makefile
readme.txt
Thank you,
Justin.

Hi all,
i've yesterday rooted my Archos 10.1 with the howto from here and all works fine.
Today i have tested a connection with Droidexplorer, but DE can't find my device.
USB debugging is enabled and USB drivers from archos website are installed.
Can anybody access his device with droid explorer? If yes, can you share your settings with us?
Thanks in advance
trilu
Hi,
I tried it with my Archos 32 and the same happens to me. Installed the usb drivers supplied by Archos.
I looked a bit and this will get you going: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7672554&postcount=23
The app adbWireless will help you, too!
hi,
i wanted to start android development on a real, but not too expensive device.
So i bought this one: http://www.amazon.de/WiPad-Multitou...=sr_1_2?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1337256098&sr=1-2
The manufactorer is CUBE: http://www.cube-tablet.com/cube-k8g...8-1-2ghz-camera-8gb-capacitive-tablet-pc.html
It works fine and i wanted to connect it to my PC, running windows 7.
The problem is: I could not find any usb driver on the (chinese) manufactorer site.
In the device manager the device was listed as "K8GT_W" and marked with "no driver installed".
Can someone please tell me, if there is a driver for this device or how to use some "generic" usb device driver with this device?
I downloaded the google USB driver with the android SDK manager.
The i selected "update driver" from the device maanger + selected the google usb driver download directory.
This shows the message "K8GT_W could not be installed".
The manufacturers is CUBE:http://www.vaful.com/cube-k8gt-delu...roid-40-capacitive-touch-screen-p-100130.html
I also encountered the same problem!

Hi folks!
I need the OTG/USB Host function on my Jiayu G3. Normally it doesn't support it..
So I did i lot of research and tests at "how i can enable it" and found some information:
1. some things point to it, like the libusbhost.so in /system/lib
2. all 5 pins of the usb slot are connected to a chip (this says nothing, i know)
3. i have found a pdf, which says that otg is possible on mt6575-77 (found on github)
So my question, has anybody get otg/usb host get enabled on Jiayu G3 oder m65xx phones? OR is anybody there who want the same like me and helps me to make it possible?
OTG unlock
Hi
I have a similar problem with my Jiayu G3s (MTK6589T).
For most USB devices it does not react but i hope there is a chance to make it work.
I do not know if it si trustworthy but according to USB OTG Checker my device supports USB OTG.
When i insert one of my USB flash drives i can find sdcard1 folder (total commander) . It is empty but it reacts.
Can anybody please help or just explain what is the problem. Thank you

Hi there,
I think I have a possible solution for this case.
Many USB cables are not correct to link with computer. I have two cables, one of Jiayu and other (more thin) brought in a chinese store. The cable brought in chinese store don't work to link with computer.
I hope this information was useful.
Any updates?

This might help. Using an apk it is possible to make it work, IF kernel supports it. Don't know if phone has hardware support though...
I've read here that you should connect the ID pin to a pull-down 150k resistor, then to GND.
Hi Everyone;
I have bought a new usb-rj45 adapter for my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 P5110 Only Wifi tablet... (its rooted and busybox pro installed on it)
After i bought, i put it in tablet via its original USB Otg Cable the i do "lsusb" in the terminal emulator but i cant see anything new in its output...
When i searched usb-rj45 adapte cd and i see linux driver there but the are three files named;
***.c
***.h
Makefile
When i search internet a little bit and i understand that i need to compile drivers with these files to make .ko file as driver...
I bought and installed c4droid and its GCC and SDL Plugin when i try compile it but i get an error that it screenshot is attached to this message... (On the other hand may be i can do this compile for tablet on my pc after i installed Android SDK but i dont know how can i do it unfortunately...)
So please help me how can i use this usb-rj45 adapter on my tablet...
Thanks so much who help me...
Best regards...

And if you post in the right gtab 2 section, people could help you, and this has nothing to do with development, it belongs in the q&a section

Thank you DefQoN_BE, i have just post my answer to forum that you advice...
Hello,
I have rooted OnePlus One device (Android 5.1.1 custom ROM Sultanxda) and an old PC which have installed ubuntu 10.04. That PC don't have internet connection so I can't perform sudo apt get comand. Kindly teach me how do I connect to the internet by using my OnePlus One device and above ubuntu version OS.
Thank you.
If you have wireless option on PC its as easy as setting up a mobile hotspot, otherwise you can use a USB cable as well
A quick Google (or xda) search will give lots of guides on this
Thanks for reply. I only have USB cable option. Can you please help me how do I proceed. When I searched on internet all of them saying to have some apt get, but here qestion is when (i don't have internet connection on the PC; my only tool is my device to access the internet) starts to solve the problem, solution starts itself with head of problem. Even if I downloads some file in the device, I am not able to copy them in PC because it is neither mounting the device nor any MTP/ADB functionality available. Is there any way to copy / access the device through twrp?
Bump...
See if you can get MTP to work in Ubuntu with this:
edit -
/lib/udev/rules.d/69-libmtp.rules
Add:
ATTR{idVendor}=="05c6", ATTR{idProduct}=="6764", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k", MODE="660", GROUP="audio", ENV{ID_MTP_DEVICE}="1", ENV{ID_MEDIA_PLAYER}="1", TAG+="uaccess"
ATTR{idVendor}=="05c6", ATTR{idProduct}=="6765", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k", MODE="660", GROUP="audio", ENV{ID_MTP_DEVICE}="1", ENV{ID_MEDIA_PLAYER}="1", TAG+="uaccess"
Restart udev:
sudo service udev restart
As far as an internet connection, if your carrier (or rom) supports wifi tethering, then you can get a USB wifi adapter. If you are able to tether, then you can also transfer files wireless by using an app like WiFi File Explorer Pro.
There is no /lib/udev/rules.d/69-libmtp.rules in my PC. Do I have to create one new?
I tried to create one new and paste above two lines and restarted udev, but no luck. When i says lsusb it says :
Bus 001 Device 015: ID 05c6:6775 ualcomm, Inc.
@other:

Before posting your answer please please please check whether its is checked by you or you are just pasting **** answer at all over the internet.
