Guys,I am on RR rom the gaming performance is not as good and the device heats up after certain time on heavy games.
Is there any good suggestion for better gaming performance or I'll try any other rom..
Dude,
On heavy games any device will heat up.
But anyway have you tried AOSPExtended? it should be all good, i guess.
Another rom also get you same result. Know your device limitation.

If you want to play asphalt 8 , please do flash PureNexus ROM by jhenrique09 + Guyver 3.7.8 kernel
Use spectrum app select Gaming profile.
Try n tell

Underclock, undervolt, change governor to powersave, decrease the screen brightness, disable data and wifi.

I set the phone to use 2G networks only.
Unfortunately I do not know how many uA (micro Ampere) this saves (if any).
maybe your battery is dead,buy new one... i have phone 6 month and dont have any problem with battery...changed a lot roms and kernels,not big difference.

1stly root your phone and get rid all of the bloatware.but its doest guarantee after that you can play HD game sometimes lag are because gpu restrictions.

Try stormguard. It's an over locked kernel. But then also don't expect much from a 2 year old mid Ranger chip
Pixerl Experience and Stormguard worked fine for me. But im on stock again cause of the camera capabilites

I wonder if changing the DPI and making the screen 720p will help with better gaming performance. I often did this with my Moto X Style and it helped a little bit. My only worry is that apps won't display properly. Probably overkill but still worth it if you play a lot of online games and want better FPS/battery life.
I have tried almost all Oreo roms..
But I'm unable to stick to 1
Daily I shift to other rom...
So pls suggest me a rom
with great customisation and descent battery life...

omni+franco kernel+microg
edit- nvm omni might be lacking in customizations without xposed
Big games like PUBG Mobile or asphalt 8 run best only on low graphics settings...
if anyone has any solution to play lag free, please advice
