Phone problem - grey display and horizontal lines after "Vernee"-Logo - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey!
Today my Vernee Apollo Lite freezes. I rebooted it and after the Vernee-Logo the display gets grey with horizontal lines. It even don't boot and I have no idea what I could do. Help?
To sum up:
- grey display after boot
- horizontal lines
- flashing stock rom does not help
- these lines don't appear in mini-recovery, only in real boot or in TWRP for example
- it happens with my old and new display

EDIT:
Fixed it with plugging of the battery.

[Q] Boot animation funky pixels

Ok, I have an XT912 2.3.6/.173, I do have a flashed ROM and I've noticed during the boot animation (the red eye) the dark space around the edges appears to be mostly gray with a few select BLACK spots.
I know it's not a huge deal, but has anyone else noticed this?

[Q] [Sola] Ghost images when booting and in CWM

Hi, I have an xperia sola with ultimate rom v10 and experimental kernel v7. I just noticed this issue so I don't know if it's related to them or not.
I don't know quite how to describe it but I'll try. When my phone is booting (the sony logo) and when I'm in CWM, I see the ghost image of my phone's homescreen on top right and left. It's a silhouette of the time, the battery percentage and the notification icon. The image always changes to the last state when I experience it (for ex. if the time was 17.12 before I shut down, the silhouette says 17.12 too).
There is no ghost image whatsoever after the device boots though. I've carefully checked it only occurs when booting and when in CWM. Is this an issue or I'm just making a fuss over nothing?
Hi dnilbia,
I noticed your problem on my Sola with stock not rooted 2.3.7 GB! I can see the time and avast antivirus logo on the right and leftt top off the screen (where notification bar is),when my phone is booting or is charging powered off! Moreover on the left and right bottom of the screen there is a blurry small black "triagnle" (the edges of the screen).
Well seems like a problem of old lcd screens with lcd persistence image but maybe it is caused from moisture and low temperatures!Well mine disappeared some days ago, boot per boot it was disappearing a little bit til it was gone.I left it in dry environment and avoided using YT cause screen is always on!
Hope it is nothing

[Q] Scrambled Screen and Flashing CMod Rom trouble

Hello all - So I have 2 GS3s (International), one has a cracked glass screen (still working fine) and the other has a fine screen but when it boots I just get scrambled white and colour lines.
I only need one so was going to get someone to switch the screens but I have been told that the scrambled screen issue may follow the screen around?
I have tried the following on the scrambled screen:
Booted into recovery/reset mode (Volume Up, Power and Home) - this gives me a scrambled screen which looks similar but different to normal boot.
Booted into download mode, pictures and text all seem fine here - so the screen at the heart is OK I assume. I have tried loading CM through Heimdall but keep getting error with failing to receive PIT.
Can I get any suggestions of how I could proceed or what the error may be? The scrambled screen is currently on a stock ROM and has never been flashed.
Thanks
If the screen works fine in download mode then the is nothing wrong with it. The coloured lines are due to a fried motherboard.

[Help] Letv x500 Screen issue

Hey, I'm having a weird screen issue and wasn't sure where else to post. After I installed a custom rom, whenever my screen has a particular blue on the screen (for example the Facebook messenger blue) lines flicker on the blue. The lines are mostly verticle but some faint horizontal ones are visible too. I hadn't noticed this on the older rom. Any ideas what might cause it?

Cubot Note S - Vertical white lines on the Screen (software error)

Hi, I bought new "Cubot Note S", what I discovered in the first use was "display whitish" lines lying vertically, when set to high brightness.
At first, I thought it was hardware problem, but later I observed, actually those white(ish) lines are present when:
- screen brightness is higher than about 70%
- and when display is showing darker colors (mainly for notification bar)
- or when using camera.
And also, when moving notification bar up and down, those "whitish" lines moves sideways!
I found one solution for this problem, with the help of "MiraVision" user mode settings, by altering "Color temperature, brightness, and contrast".
You can see the problem and solution in the VIDEO.

Questions:
1) Is it really software error, or hardware problem?
2) If it is a software problem, is there any stable custom rom for "Cubot Note S" ?
Thanks!

Many traits with the cubot note s include -
Doesn't boot up and hangs.
Boots up and the sim icon is missing.
Screen burn.
Boots up and sdcard missing.
Problems connecting to wifi.
The ota updater is dangerous and should never be used.
It has a couple of malware apps in system.
Volume button not working as it should.
There are also lots of pro's of course so it is worth £50, but only £50, no more than this.
