I have a Nexus 7 2012 running Lollipop 5.1.1. I can't OTA update it to Marshmellow as the result is slow. Sluggish. And generally unusable. I want to use the tablet with weMo but the Google Store says the current version of WeMo is incompatible with my tablet. Any advice on how to proceed is appreciated.

Yes this is correct Google provides updates for Nexus all devices.
No. OS updates will stop for each Nexus device after a time.
I'm on 4.4.4 with 5.1 now available (nexus 4). My phone only shows 5.0.1 available. If I upgrade to this will 5.1 show available to download?
i bought Lenovo Tab 7 Essential TB-7304I - 1GB RAM with Android 7.0 (Nougat) pre-installed. the device is too slow and i believe that the 1GB ram cannot handle Android 7.0 at all!
i searched for lower Android version (6 or even 5) to install it on this device with no success.
maybe becuase i'm not familiar with Android anyone can help me finding Android 6.x or Android 5.x that can be installed on Lenovo Tab 7 Essential TB-7304I. Or the available CUSTOM ROM if any also i would appreciate if you can suggest a page for the downgrading steps
Anyone can help!!!
No one can help me with this issue??

Any update please
Have you unlocked bootloader and installed custom recovery?
There are no custom roms for this device. Even 4pda has nothing and this tablet is popular amongst the Russians due to the price.
Hello,
I have a Ulefone Armor 7E, it came installed with Android 9. Today I wanted to update to Android 10, using the ROMs on the Ulefone Website (Links to a Google Drive).
I found a Warning Message that you should not use the ROM to update your phone ("★Warning★: if your phone is Android 9,you are forbidden to flash Android 10,otherwise your phone must be bricked!!! vice versa
").
So they sell a version of the phone with Android 9 and one with Android 10. I bought my phone (Android 9) this year around april.
Has anyone updated the phone to Android 10, or do you brick your phone if you try to update it?
Thank you in advance,
deecon

Switching from Adroid 9 to Android 10 isn't an update but an upgrade.
You may consider flashing a Custom ROM based on Adroid 10.

I guess there is no custom ROM available for the Armor 7E?
Hi,
I've recently acquired an old Vertu Aster Onyx, unfortunately it is running Android 4.4 which is quite unreliable and I would like to move it to Android 5.1.1.
This phone was offered on 5.1.1. however with Vertu closing shop the OTA update is not delivered anymore.
I've managed to Root the phone in a second with Kingroot and I also have a Vertu Signature Touch from the same year running 5.1.1.
Any idea if there's a way for me to manually load 5.1.1 from either a download link or from the Signature Touch?
Best
