Does anyone know the code to disable LDB on an LG G5?
I can find the codes for the G3 and G4, but not the G5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Download and install the Hiddenmenu APK in the first post here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g5/how-to/guide-gsm-unlock-sprint-lg-g5-t3574819
Open the app > "SVC Menu" > "LDB" > "LDB Setting" uncheck "Enable, MLT will run after booting"
Maybe this will work on your phone too:
see here: -> http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/mlt.php
WORKS WITHOUT ANY APP!
short info:
dail *#546368#*850# to enter hidden menu
( XXX must be the number of your phone!! )
tap on SVC menu as next
tap on LDB menu
uncheck LDB "enable"
reboot
:fingers-crossed: hope this will work for you!
Edit: additions

Dialer codes don't work for 100% of phones, but yes OP should try that first. If dialer code doesn't work, that app may work instead; confirmed working at least for stock Nougat Sprint G5.
(I have an LS992 Sprint G5 on stock Nougat but it's running a GSM SIM with the APK SIM Unlock method linked in previous post. Dialer code only gives me an error with this configuration.)
i learn more & more at every day!

After 2,5hrs searching, still no solution found.
My setup is as in my signature, and in WinMo I can't find the PIN/PIN2 page for disabling the sim security.
I've searched in the registry for an option without succes,
also tried Advanced Configuration tool to unlock phone settings page/tab without succes...
Any ideas?
press send (phone) to bring up phone screen, press menu, options - pin code toggle to off.
alternatively
settings menu all settings personal phone GSM.UMTS tab, pin/pin2 get settings
Settings tab / Menu: All setings / Personal / Phone / GSM/UMTS Services
I cant, as I said the GSM/UMTS page doesnt show the PIN options...
try CMPin.exe in your Windows folder - it shows the "Disable PIN" screen on my device, maybe it'll work on yours too
Anybody know how to add the 4g only setting

Hello,
yes, now we finally found a solution.
Do exactly as described:
Download Settings Database Editor from playstore and open it
Look for hw_networkmode_preference and edit the stock value "9,6,2,1" to "11"
Restart the device
Open Settings Database Editor
Click on + Add new setting at the top
Type "hw_add_4g_only" (without " ") and press save changes
Type in your country code, example "502" Malaysia or "262" Germany. Press save changes
Type "hw_add_4g_only" (without " ") and press save changes (YES, REPEAT STEP 6)
Type in your country code, example "502" Malaysia or "262" for Germany and press save changes (YES, REPEAT STEP 7)
Restart the device and VOILA!
Now you have access to ALL network modes. Select "LTE" or "4G" for 4G only functionality.
Like this, you have stable Internet nearly where ever you go, without dropping back to overcrowded 2G/3G Networks.
Best,
Stefan
p.s.: thanks to ronald_loulan for original solution!
will this work when travelling to other countries?
It's work
Thank you very much
Edit: got it working 4g only now.
One question though, the UK country code is 234 and 235.
Do I add both numbers and just separate them with a comma?
Thanks.
Mate 20 pro 4g only

Here is what work for me.
If you already had a hauwei phone and used "setedit" and you now upgraded to you Mate 20 pro with using the "phone clone" app.
You will notice the "setedit" app won't be copied over. So head on over to "play store" and download it.
Follow the steps give in this thread to enter all the setting on the "setedit" app.
Restart your device. You will see it didn't work. No problem. Just uninstall the "setedit" app and restart your device.
Now go to your mobile network setting and you will see you will have all the setting for networks including 4g only.
you can try this at teknokia site
I want to open menu 'Testing'. I tried code *#*#6130#*#* and *#*#4636#*#* (*#*#INFO#*#*) in the dialer but they not work on my phone. I mean the window in which can choose 'Only LTE' mode. This window looks like image from attachment.

FRP Bypass Samsung Galaxy S10 - 100% WORKING!
This method works!! No simcard is need to be inserted, no puk code is need to be used or other crap I have seen on alot of places, this is simple and a very easy way to frp bypass your samsung galaxy 10 without paying money for "pro" tools, this method is so easy so even your grandmother would succeed.
Totally there is three ways that I have found that allows anyone to bypass FRP very easy on the latest firmware (2020-03-14)!
One method is via NFC, the second option is via OTG cable between one android device on android v9.0 and your samsung s10 that is on android v10.0 and the third option is the most easy one so i decided to describe it for you all out there.
0. Turn off the device and remove simcard.
1. Enter recovery mode by keep device off and then press volume up + bixby + power button
2. Wipe cache and do a factory reset and then choose to reboot your device
3. Phone will now start as normal, change language to your prefered language
4. Take a screenshot at welcome screen with power + vol down, you will see "Allow samsung capture to access photos, media and files of your device" - Choose 'Deny' here.
5. Take another screenshot at welcome screen, an extra option that is 'Deny & dont ask again' - Choose this one this time
6. Now, take a third screenshot at welcome screen and you will get a totally different option, You will get a Allow Permission window popup instead now, choose 'Site Settings' here.
7. You will now get into Samsung Capture option, choose to allow permissions for storage if you want to be able to take screenshot, however the important part is to go to Permission option.
8. Now you should see 'Storage, Camera and Microphone, choose Storage' option here and then press on See all apps with this permission
9. Now press on the three dots in upper right corner and choose "Show System" option
10. There is many options you can choose here, let us browse down to "Google Chrome/Chrome" browser - Edit option from Deny to Allow and then press on see all Chrome permissions if you want to start chrome for example.
11. But even more interesting is that you will see settings icon at top, press on 'See all Settings permissions' - In next window just double click the settings icon at top for get to next window and now in down left corner - Choose 'Open' and you're in settings!
12. Scroll to bottom and press on 'about phone' and u will see "Reset" button, press on it to reset settings only and keep your data. (optional)
13. Now you just need download google account manager and add a new account and the old one will be overwritten (use web login in google account manager by pressing in upper right corner when you started account manager). If you want to join System UI just choose system ui in quickshortcutmaker.
quickshortcutmakercan be downloaded from: quickshortcutmaker
Pictures for those who prefer that can be found on my repo, click can be found on my github, click here for visit the repo.
Enjoy your fully unlocked Samsung Galaxy 10 device.

very doubtful about this, is it possible to check the source code?
I don't see how it would work in practice, especially when it is not possible to use mtp commands (at the time of writing it is not possible afaik, not last week when I tried on s23) on the recent android phones
It might work on older models but hardly on today's, tell me more technical details how that tool work please?
Good news for anyone having the Wing fall Back to 3G when making a call. You can activate VoLTE using a mix of the two following guides:
Guide:-How To Activate VoLTE,ViLTE,VoWIFI&ViWIFI LG Devices-LG Velvet 5G
Hi Guys Am Baljeet From India There Is A Path To Force Enable VoLTE On The"LG Velvet 5G LM-G900" Specifically Your Version Which Is The "LM-G900". By Default This Feature Is Disabled On This Model. Follow These Steps Given Below: A). Go To The...

Lg g8x,g8,v60 Volte enable for all carriers, unlisted countries also
I will try to keep this post as small as possible. This will enable Volte for Phone ranging from Lg g8x, g8 and V60 without root or modifying the system files. Many have posted ways to get it, Iam only trying to help out the small bits missing...
forum.xda-developers.com
To make it as short as possible:
1) Create an empty directory named "enable_ue" in the root of the phone's main storage, using you prefered file explorer (like for exemple Cx Explorer or ).
2) From the LG Phone dialpad and with your SIM card inserted, type #*462633*#100# (for european LG Wing - LM-F100EMW) to get into the Hidden Menu. From there enter Field Test, then Universal Enabler -> Create New Config. Click on the four last check boxes VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWIFI and ViWIFI to enable these options. You won't be able to enter this setting if you haven't created the empty directory under point 1).
Go back to Field Test and enter Modem Setting to enable 5G if you haven't already -> RAT Selection -> SIM 1 Mode - > select GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G or whatever you need + 5G. Go back and do the same with SIM 2 after, if you use it. Network mode in the network settings will then not show "5G prefered", but a number, like "26" in my case.
3) Go back to Field Test menu and enter IMS Stting. If you have Slot - 0 : OPEN / EU and Slot - 1 : OPEN / EU (or something else on each side of the / ), then you did everything right to this point. Exit the Hidden Menu and get your SIM out of the phone.
4) Enter th Hidden Menu again without the SIM inserted. Go back to IMS Setting and click on Slot - 0.
Under Subscriber enable IMS,ISIM & USIM.
Under Xcap\Ut. -> General, enable UT & USSD Over IMS
Under ETC, enable Check IMS Registration, Use rule-ID from responsem& Query on bootup
Under GPRI VoLTE/VoWIFi, enable VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWIFI & VIWIFI
Under Test, Preference Operator can be set as OPEN (what I did), or your carrier short name, or your County. Apparently does not make difference for some operator but some do require it to same name as theirs.
Preference Country this is important as this decides if VoLTE gets enabled, Find your country short code example USA is US , India is IN. Europe is EU. Find and try different short codes, I put EU.
Enable Support Volte AT command, VoNR, UAC Enabled & VoLTE Setting Enabled
You can now exit the Hidden Menu & insert your SIM back in. If everything went well, you should see the VoLTE icon showing up on the left of the network in the task bar, on the (my) Wing it's a small lifted phone headset with wave coming out of it. If you don't have it, check under the phone network settings - Mobile networks, if you got the VoLTE option and if it's activated. You might have to repeat some of the steps above with the SIM card inserted (as I had to) to make it work. Don't forget to check the settings for both SIMs if you use two. Not sure if all setting are kept if you reboot or reset the phone. You might have to repeat the preocess or part of it on each reboot, as for enabeling the 5G option.
Was tested on Android 12, as my phone didn't get Android 13 yet. But it's also working on my Velvet 5G that is on A13.
Many thanks to Baljeet Khairwal and johndaniel for their guides + all other persons who helped in the two threads.
