Which is the most stable MM rom for LG G3 VS985 i have literally tried every nougat rom out there for months but theey are not stable enough to be used as daily drivers....
Can you people please help me to choose a BEST(NO BUGS + adequate battery + adequate performance ) MM rom....i have tried MOKEE Release MM build but apps are crashing/behaving abnormally in it like FACEBOOK and Whatsapp ?
Other than that if anybody would like to show me the right path???
I just go with xdabebs stock 47A. Run a few debloat zips, hotspot fix, nova launcher and I'm good to go. I couldn't get a stable AOSP rom to work right on MM ever. On nougat, CRdroid worked great for me. Went back to stock because of the camera.

I've got an S3 i9300, want to use it as daily driver.
I need an OS that is:
Stable and complete. GPS, Camera, Bluetooth etc.. works
Fast for regular usage (don't want to feel this is old hardware)
has security patches (e.g. stagefright)
preferably has the CM Privacy Manager.
no stock/bloated Samsung ROM
CM12 runs slow. BlissPop (CM12 based) runs slow. MinimalOS (Lollipop) fast but not stable or complete enough, LiquidSmooth old and not updated, AndroidRevolutionHD old etc...
I'm seeing dozens of Roms, I can't try them all.
Which ROMS do you recommend ?
Stock roms run the best. Custom roms are customisable.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

I myself use i9300 official CM 13 Nightlies but they are kinda buggy for now if you want a totally complete rom so use these:
1. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-i9300-t3254215( use the latest build only for maximum performance )
2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-aosp-i9300-t3207400 ( use Android 5.1.1 version )
And if you want any rom to run smoothly so you will need :
1. greenify
2. greenify donation pack
3. xposed framework
4. supersu
Use greenify to hibernate almost all system apps unless the ones make you buggy and slow like your launcher and Google now and Google services. And you'd better hibernate the user apps you don't need too. This can make you pretty fast and power saving.
Press the tnx:good: button if I helped you.

Wow, thanks for the detailed reply. I never knew Greenify was so important/impactful on overall performance.
I just tested the latest CM11 nightly and noticed it says "android security patch level December 2015". So that's good, it's secure.
One more thing, what are your thoughts on custom Kernels for performance ? I've tried Boeffla and saw a nice difference (with a slightly more performance oriented governor)

It depends on the OS version of your phone and on the build version either for example if you are on the build 20 of cm 12.1 boeffla can make you really fast but if you are on build 30 you have some instabilities coming with it ( as I tried it myself but you can try it too not so sure on this one ) but for the OS versions below 5.1.1 it is really awesome and heavily optimized and bugless.

Thanks, I tested boeffla-kernel-2.12-CM11.0-NG-i9300 with latest CM11 nightly. Phone works great, I think I'll stick with CM11 - I don't really need anything from newer android versions
I vote against greenify and any apps that task manage. Android will keep opening apps regardless of how many times you close them as that is the nature of the operating system. Just let it do what it wants and it'll eventually learn that you don't use that app.

Then you vote for speed decrease and lags and battery drain and so. If you want them to happen on your device so NP then. And knowing that S3's ram is limited and low will make the problem worst. Yeah of course if I had note5 I wouldn't use greenify!!? We only use it to solve the low ram problems that everyone suffer from and you know Android is created to install tweaks and control it as you want if not you can buy an ios device and let it do everything for you.
Which is the best Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM for Grand 2? I have seen AOKP and CM13 on furoms. I know both of the AOKP and CM13 front camera don't work. Which is the most stable and best to download? And I was wondering when there will be an update of that ROM how can I download that newest version of the ROM while I'm on an older version of that ROM? I mean for example I would be running AOKP rom and they fix the front camera and then how do I download new version with fixed camera? THANKS ALOT FOR YOUR HELP

Tried CM 6.0.1 by appav but device overheats even on standby mode.will try AOKP.......
I think I used all the available roms here and I am slightly disappointed. Each of these rom has a lot of errors and underdeveloped.
Both 5.1 and 6.0 at the beginning of a great work. All nice and beautiful works, but after a few days / weeks of use there are mistakes and there are more and more.
A) I'm currently using 6.0.1 and after a week of use:
- Frequent suspension of the touch screen (software).
- Rom memory permanently at 1.1 GB (1.3 GB available), which causes the system begins to slow down much (I have literally several applications uploaded).
- Lack of front camera and the rear camera outside very often turns off only helps remove the battery)
B) previously had the 5.1.1:
- Need less RAM (700-800 MB of applications)
- After uploading fix, and so there were frequent errors sim card
- Speaker on one sim card did not work during the call.
several times I installed accordance with the instructions, the system worked well for a few days, then returned errors.
In conclusion I would like to finally upload a stable rom!

What about the oreo rom?
Using it on my xt1581 from a week. Very good rom, fresh air for my phone, fast and stable better then lineage OS (I know is based on it) the only thing I don't like is the camera app i find it slow and doesn't support HDR and OIS, of course is possible to install moto camera or anything else...good job thz
Great rom, using it as my daily driver, thank you!
I'm getting no signal with this rom. I'm on EE in the UK if that helps.
Edit: Managed to fix this by flashing stock firmware and then this ROM.
Dude, this rom is a smoothly pleasure!
Congratus man, I'm using as my daily driver right now!
I'm not facing any signal issues (my phone also is a UK MFX)
I flashed a bunch of AOSP/LOS roms (they are similar anyway)
I wanna get back on MIUI, i am looking for a rom based on NOUGAT MIUI
My top priorities are
1. Video over LTE
2. Bluetooth Audio call working
3. Should be stable

Vilte is fixed on pie.
I suggest you to use revolution os but it is in marshmallow
Hello everyone, after struggling with basically any custom ROM that I have tried, I'll report the errors here that I've had because I need a ROM that works decently, hopefully.
Paranoid Android (Android 10): frequent random crashes and reboots, audio codecs broken (some audio is really bad).
Lineage OS (Android 10): failures flashing it.
ShapeShift (Android 11): even more frequent crashes and reboots, mobile data not working.
Arrow OS (Android 11): I couldn't even complete the setup because of services crashing during the first configuration after flashing it.
I'd like a debloated ROM, less is more.
Or, if you have a flawless working ROM among the previous ones, please just link me the MIUI (and the firmware, if needed) I have to use to make the exact same installation you have (this is driving me crazy, it's about a week that I'm using a not decent phone). It's the 5g standard, no pro/ultra/lite.
Thank you.
Only stock roms work perfectly. Custom roms will have bugs.

Well, I have tried like 7 stock ROMs recently, almost all of them were as unstable as the custom ones.
Anyway, I've done the cleanest install possible (flash stock - format - flash custom - format) with Arrow OS and apparently like this it's quite stable.
