Custom recovery for Sony Z Ultra

I have searched all over the forum to find a custom recovery for my phone but every recovery is to be 'flashed', I am having a stock recovery. I have my bootloader unlocked. But due to some reason I can't enter it. I don't want to downgrade my phone I am looking weather I can install recovery from computer or I can flash it from some application that provide flashing of zip and recovery files.
I rooted my phone from kingroot(not sure what's the name of that app) and then later shifted to supersu and I installed kingroot.
My phone specifications:
Rooted : yes.
Kernal version: perf-gd26777b-00851- ga8b7b55
Phone model: C6802
Flashed anything before: no
Android: 5.1.1
Let me know if any other details are required.

Sony z2 can't access twrp or any kind of recovery mode that was installed

Hello,
I have a sony z2 D6503 android 6.0.1 (flash the 6.0.1 so i can force it to update) bootloader unlocked and previusly install xzdualrecovery (for the 6.0.1 force update),
now the after i year from when i install the 6.0.1 i didn't need to access recovery mode, until 1 week ago when i wanted to flash with resurrection remix 7.1.2 nougat, so i try first to access to twrp by hardware button, nothing happen (neither the led notification light turn pink so i can't access to recovery).
Then i try to flash again twrp or any different recovery from adb, and i try again either from adb and manually to access to recovery, and nothing again.
So i install kingroot, root the phone and use quick boot or other app so i can access to recovery from them, and nothing again.
So after that i factory reset the phone (to 6.0.1 because is the only available on my phone since the time that i flash it) and did again evey single step that i mention before.
I read every thread, post forum for everything, adb problem , bootloader, twrp, recovery and other but neither of them help.
In the end i was force to open a thread here so maybe you can help me.

Flash elite kernel version 3(it is important that it should be version 3) it gas a built-in recovery and it is compatible with stock based rom
And if you want to flash RR rom you should flash boot.img from rom zip and provided recovery in dsired fourm

H850 Oreo flash/Magisk fix?

Anyone have any solution for the flash to work with magisk?
If i uninstall and install SU my flash will work?
Replace the kernel with the MK2000, flashing it with TWRP after Magisk, and the flash will be back.

It's still a beta version, but on my phone is working perfectly.
You can find it here, in the same thread of the Nougat version: h850 mk2000 kernel
I installed the kernel and after magisk again but the flash light is not working again.
I get the same error.
I have to wipe everything again?
Never mind i just flashed mk again without flashing magisk again and its working.

I get the same problem.
After flashing TWRP I do this:
don't wipe Data, but "format" data (you have to type "yes" to delete encryption)
intall Magisk-v17.1.zip
install xposed-v90-sdk26-arm64-beta3 (optional)
install driver Adreno 530 rev21 non treble (optional)
install as last zip: KERNEL MK2000 v1.0 Beta5 (for OREO)
reboot system
now flashlight works fine.
So installing "no-verity-opt-encrypt" (DM-verify) is not necessary.
P.S.
I was on Fulmics 5.5 (stock 7.x) with unlocked bootloader, the correct twrp flashing for me was this:
with LGUP
flash kdz android 7.x (flag on refurbish) (I tried upgrading directly to 8.x, but the G5 was gone in bootloop)
flash kdz android 8.x (flag on upgrade)
(the bootloader still remain unlocked, so you have not flash unlock partition with unlock.bin file)
Phase 2
Boot, skip all settings, Enable Developer, enable Debug USB and accept request permissions etc...
open ADB and type
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
don't reboot!
remove cable, remove battery, reinsert battery
power on in recovery mode (correctly, or you have to return at Phase 2)
double yes for reset factory (to enter in recovery)
you should enter in TWRP recovery
Is there any way to fix the "flashlight" bug with the stock kernel, still with the stock recovery
and rooting with Magisk by patching the boot image beforehand and flashing it in fastboot ?
I tried using the mk2000 kernel, but no img image is provided for this, only a zip,
but I don't want to root by using TWRP and flashing zips.
Why, I want systemless root, in case OTA updates will appear.
Thank you.
Even though I'd really suggest you to install TWRP permanently (if you accidentally enter in the stock recovery, the whole internal memory gets erased permanently), you may try to install Magisk from TWRP and then flash again the stock recovery.img using fastboot.
By the way, the Magisk zip is systemless: it doesn't flash executables on the system partition; it's just packed as a zip file for convenience to be easily read by TWRP.
On the other hand, if you want both original kernel and Magisk with a working flashlight, you can't. Flashlight with Magisk only works with MK2000 kernel at the moment.
It's new version mk2000 kernel v2.0 stable version from 04 January 2019, for Oreo try it. I want to unlock BL and make root, pls tell us it is flash work ? Sorry for my English.

I din't try the latest version, but I'm currently using mk2000 with unlocked bootloader and Magisk, and everything (both root and flash) is ok.
Edit: I now have the latest version of mk2000, and I can confirm everything is ok.
My flashlight and camera flashlight are not working too. I have to back read just in case I am not the only one with the same problem. I see there is a lo of suggestion and I tried it and it worked like a charm. I used H850_v1.0-mk2000 to make it work.

Xperia XZ1 Compact rooting with xperifix or locking bootloader for camera and audio

I used xperifix and it stopped working halfway and i had only twrp installed. I used twrp to install magisk 16.4 manually, bootloop, so i used uninstaller and then i used super su, again bootloop. then i used Emma to install a software version and firmware 47.1.A.16.20 to restore from bootloop.
Now xperifix only detects model number in normal mode and nothing happens in fastboot mode.
What do you suggest I do? I am okay with not having root access but i want back camera and audio settings.

Root oneplus 7t Pro

I wanted to update my one plus 7t pro but I don't know why even if I used the incremental update I don't have anymore the root. Now I have the following build: Oxygen OS 10.0.8.HD01BA (Europe).
The problem is that I didn't find any patched bootable .img for the version 10.0.8HD01BA.
Is it possible to root my phone with version 10.0.8 or I need to go back to version 10.0.7, root it and then again made the incremental update?.
Thank you in advance.

You don't need to revert 10.0.7 to root, you can use this guide to root 10.0.8 -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/10-0-3-patched-boot-image-oneplus-7t-pro-t3986351

Also, after downloading the update, don't press reboot.
Go to magisk manager and select install and pick install to inactive slot wait till it's done then reboot.
Always remember to disable modules that could make your device boot loop and restart your device before doing the update process
If you do it this way you don't have to keep making or asking others for patched images and have to use your computer

Hi I have version 10.0.8 EU and used this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/magisk-auto-install-tool-magisk-t4001471
worked for me
man i swear i tried somthing and it worked and i pass SafetyNet right now. i'am not a professional and i dont know what exactly i did that fixed the problem. but i will tell you what i did.
- i had some problems with my phone so i did MSM-flashtool it to get it back to clean
- then i installed latest magisk application 7.5.1 from github.
-patched my boot image and flashed it
-i got safetynet check failed.
-i then removed magisk by installing the stock boot image again.
-then i downloaded an older version of magisk which is 7.4.0.
-flashed the same patched boot image again.
WALLAH! i passed safteynet and magisk hide works with bank and google pay apps agian ! <3
-then i updated magisk from the app both manager and magisk zip
-rebooted
-still my safetynet passes! try it and tell me guys!
