Did you backup your efs files before flashing? Or make a nandroid backup?
It's is very hard to repair lost or corrupted imei.
What error message in Odin?

If you got the I9300 model with no sim lock- no problem.
Ps- notice that if your current build is below EMG4, than your file partition will be changed to EFSv2,
needs to be noticed if you'll try to go back to 4.1.2 afterwards

I think he can go back after flashing 4.3 ROM. I have done that.
Aashish, you can install any ROM as per your requirement if SIM is not locked with any SP.
But there is a chances of loosing IMEI. So please take backup. Search and download MG4 modem handy.

Yeah what you propose seems very straightforward BUT it would be advisable to do a full backup INCLUDING EFS, just check the EFS box in TWRP for instance, as it's not usually included in a backup by default.

Ah I get it now, in which case I would be tempted to go to an Indian 4.1.2 firmware through ODIN and the update through OTA if that's possible. That would reduce the chase of stuffing up your EFS by using an official Samsung update procedure.

Mmm don't know much about that method.
What recovery are you using? Make sure the files you downloaded are not corrupt also make sure you are using a custom recovery (not stock recovery) also make sure you are definitely rooted these are common reasons for Signature Verification Failed
I recommend
(1) Flashing stock 4.3
(2) Rooting with CF-Auto-Root
(3) Flash Custom recovery Cwm,Twrp,PhilZ
then flash your patched files......
If not work service repair.....

The patched files don't fix wrong imei they only allow you to get a network signal by allowing your efs to read your modem thus giving you a signal. If they don't work then I suggest service repair.

Only possible when flashing 5.1.1 custom rom via recovery, but you will lose your imei, BUT you can backup your imei and after flashing new rom restore it.

Yes before you proceed you will need to install a "custom recovery" (Search about it if you dont know what it is)
Go to recovery like you want to format but instead go to "Backup & Restore" and select backup and then select "efs" which is IMEI.
After flashing a custom rom and after the first boot you will notice that there is no signal, so go to recovery and select to restore efs.
I recommend you to backup efs to ext sd card.
This will void your warranty, even downgrading it self will void it.
Goodluck!

Any firmware 4DPG1 or above can not be downgraded. Im guessing before you was on U3DPAD or lower which can be downgraded. The first MM builds could be downgraded. But any 4xxxx can not
ah ok....
then i downgraded fast enough
my main reason of downgrade:
in MM it is not possible to change the font with HiFont App....!!!
i see other people saying that it's possible.
but i have one of the latest builds so, in your opinion , it is impossible for me to downgrade.
but are you sure? i can't believe that, i want absolutely a solution, i am searching it from so many time, please help

What build number are you in? It is impossible to downgrade from a late build 4xxxx. I have tried absolutely everything. The only way is to flash a nandroid backup but even then you will lose imei. You can always back up efs and restore but its not always as straight forward to restore it. You would also need to flash a new bootloader and modem.
Did you make a nandroid backup of your previous firmware? If not then you cant try that.
The only other way you can try is to flash a 5.1.1 custom rom. Again you will lose imei. So efs backup is important. You would also need to flash BL and modem again.
There are roms based on lollipop which is a much safer way to revert back, try one of them.
Overall i wouldnt try it bit its up to you. If you do and you find a way to do it let me know.

I need help to unbrick my phone. Here are the details of my phone and things I did before it became useless.
- Version: Updated version of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Marshmallow Android 6.0.
- replaced its recovery with TWRP via odin (3.10.6)
- install a ROM with the use of TWRP recovery.
- After rooting my phone and flashing a new rom via TWRP, I can't use my phone's physical buttons.
I also tried full-wipe installation of Custom rom and I got the same issue. I tried restoring it to a stock rom, but it always says "Fail".
Do you guys have any suggestions how can I fix my phone?
Which rom did you flash?
What point in odin does it fail?
I take it you have G925F? Not G8.
Whats your region and what firmware did you try to flash (stock)

Thank you for your reply. Here are my answers:
-I flashed "CarHDRom" to my phone using TWRP 3.0.
- Yes, 825F is just a typo, G925F is the correct model name. I double checked it in the box.
- Philippines, and I already downloaded the firmware that you suggested in another post about softbricked g925F (G925FXXU3DPAD_G925FOXA3DPAD_XEU).

I suggest TWRP. Make a full Nandroid back up before just incase. But if anything goes wrong you can just flash that stock back to fix.
I would root first with cf autoroot.
Then flash your ROM.
Do a full wife when rom installer asks as this is safest way.
If it bootloops just wait.
Glad i can help
Well it looks like CarHDRom is not compatible with my phone. Tried flashing it twice and I waited for 30mins of booting but it doesn't continue.

Hi callumbr1 ;
in fact my device is live demo unit on 5.1.1 rom, and there is so many problems and difficulty to flash newer ROM versions like 6 or 7 because of it's boot loader , i tried all what in forums , the greatest problem with custom ROMs is that my phone sticks on boot screen !
on the other hand , i find out flash a full back up is so use full to do that without any difficulty an problems as i flashed an android nougat backup from an nexus device and that was successfully installed with out boot loader problems but not stable.
so i found i could upgrade my device to a stable ROM 6 or 7 with out any problems in that way
