As the title says, I was looking for advice on recovering data from the S Memo app (I didn't sync) after factory reset. I've already looked into the memo.db file using SQlite and found it empty, and tried the recovery software Dr. Fone, but that extracts data in a raw form, so it isn't of much use to me. I have rooted my phone (runs on MM 6.0.1) and have a recovery program and systemless Xposed (Version 87) installed onto it. Please do tell me if there's something I have yet to try as it is quite important to me.
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone and hope to find a solution to this problem that I caused myself.
A couple of days ago I came to buy a mobile for eBay, with very good features but that only brought two languages English and Japanese, after much research weno to rotearlo, I got you can rotear and is very easy, the question was to use a root desinstador to remove applications in Japanese, that is the question I deleted such that a Mobil has been almost useless, it lights have wifi but no network are not phone applications or contact, it says nothing about the SIM requests and configuration pin or setin gives many fs if it enters network.
Theirs would reinstall the official ROM but I can not find it, if I try to update it does not detect wifi Trough docomo network, tb I watched the efs folder and is not, and can not think of more, one thing in the middle of it desinstaciones I made a backup with titanium backup but not because reason gives me error and not installed, when I made this copy option worked even though I had uninstalled call phone icons and the calendar.
Another thing is that now I have the baseband because I don not known or something.
If you also have looked but I see nothing, I found and downloaded this F02E_F0001_V16R46A.tar.gz
I think it's the original rom unzipped weighs 900mg but remains in extension. tar and not as flasearla.
In conclusion let a disaster, so I do not know what to do with it, I may have a solution say hello.
You need to reset the phone.
Go to settings -> Backup&reset -> Factory data reset.
Note that Backup&reset is located in settings under "Personal" -> "more".

I have same problem. And i have old source code of ROM in tar.gz file.
If someone know how to make it or whrere to find restoring image of original ROM, please help.
Hey guys. I have been trying to unlock my htc desire 320 and it appears to be not possible to do so at this time. Google searches pretty much confirm that. Sooooo like a moron I try iroot and framaroot. Iroot said successful and rebooted. It updated the android system on boot. I also had a very real looking system update appear a day before which also did the same thing. My friend with same phone and network didnt receive any such thing. Sketchy business amirite. I have discovered a hidden folder on my root directory which will reappear after deleting it without even rebooting. The folders name is d101m0o7bi1le. It has over 300 sub dirs. I have deleted system cache, and tried factory reset from recovery mode but it will not delete any apps or data. I would like to know how to restore the original rom or how else I could perhaps fix this hook. Thanks for any reply!
Device: LG VU2, Android 4.1.2 JB
Was trying to check hardware information through ADB, went into recovery mode (I thought) and after restart I have a clean new device with loss of 2 years of data, pics, vids, whatsapp messages etc etc.
Have already tried all these Apps like Dr. Fone, EaseUS, Tenorshare etc, but none seems to recover anything except few pictures from Chrome "Downloads" folder.
So far nothing is been overwritten, no installed apps. There was only one auto install after google signin which was chrome. (Any possible link?)
Please if anyone can help, I am ready to donate some too.
Thanks.
Good afternoon.
Recently, I dealt with the message "The Contacts application stopped". The same with Calendar app and sometimes with the Camera app. The same issue I had with the original keyboard LG, which I did not use so I did not mind that. Basically, the message appeared only after backing up with Titanium backup before I switched back to Smart Keyboard Pro.
Deleting data of the application did not help. So I had to do a Factory reset. But that logically resulted in deleting Smart Pro Keaboard and thus I was done because LG keyboard was not working again. So I could not enter the password for Wi-Fi, could not log into my Google Account and therefore all my backups were useless (LG backup, Google backup and Titanium Backup). Now, as I write this, I get an idea to install Titanium Backup from the card, so maybe next time).
So finally I had to flash the phone. Then I restored everything (root, applications, SDfix, Folder mount, ... ) and the phone worked for about a week without any problems. Then Contacts started to stop (again: "The application Contacts stopped"). I went around by using another application for contacts. But then even Settings began to stop. For example when I need to turn on Wi-Fi, I'll hold the icon for a list of available networks and the app Settings stops. The same when I try to set the background image or when I try to access the list of applications or try to view Phone info.
Prior to these problems, the phone went over a year without any problems. I've got SafeRemover, but I just deleted useless apps like Google Music and so on. I cannot delete data of the stopping apps since I cannot get into the menu.
I do not I have any suspicious newly installed application. No task killer, booster, antivirus and similar crap I do. Just SD Maid.
I have a LG L70, Android 4.4.2 with the newest firmware from LG web. I can not find out more because Setting would stop. :-/
Do you guys have any idea how to solve the problem?
You could try an older version of the firmware.
You could also try clearing cache and dalvik cache through recovery (if possivle) or flashing custom ROMs (if available).
Thanks a lot for your replies. I don't know how to clean Dalvik cache with recovery. I tried flashing the same stock ROM again with normal flash. Other possibilities are (in this order): CSE flash with the same rom, normal flash with different stock rom, custom rom.
So after normal flashing with stock ROM everything seemed ok. I recovered some apps and setting from Google account and then I started recovering from LG backup. It ended, phone switched of and is dead. I can't switch it on, load Recovery menu neither Bootloader menu (with USB cable). So it look like a hard brick.
My notebook sees the phone as "QHSUSB_BULK" in a "non-determined device" category. I'm searching the unbrick method but I start being desperate. :-/
Hi guys, my problem:
I have a samsung galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) with Android 6.0.1, and I did a Factory data Reset. Before reseting, i forgot to transfer some Audio files I had on my phone created by samsung voice recorder app, .m4a file extensions.
My question is: Is there any way of getting those audio files back in good condition?
I tried using several programs that have data recovery options such as: dr.phone, FoneDog, Free Android Data Recovery, Gihosoft Free Android Data Recovery, and a lot of others. I didnt manage to work out most of them, and the ones that restored some data gave back corrupt files ( corrupt .m4a or unplayable .ogg ). The majority of programs required a "root" and i tried doing that using oneclickroot, and kingo root, but it wasnt a succes, and it ended up making my phone super slow and laggy so i performed another factory data reset.
I have been trying to get my audio files back for a week now, with no succes, so can anyone pls confirm wheter it is even possible to restore at this poing or should i just give up and deal with the fact im not getting them back?
The files were recorded at a college class, its basically a professor mumbling on his lecture and i intended to use them while studying for finals.
I am a total android noob btw. No programing skills or knowledge.
