My father gave me his old phone Gionee Marathon M5 plus.
i live in India and my service provider is Airtel.
The Problem is that the phone does not recognize my Airtel sim.
Although it recognizes Jio but not airtel.
So i thought Maybe Rooting will grant me access to tweak network settings a bit.
please help .

yeah i have the whole stock firmware folder.
Upload just the recovery file and paste the download link here.

I just go this tecno phone, having an android OS.
The the phone is tecno T1 but when I connect it to the system is right MT65xx android phone.

I ve tried to root mine (tecno t1) but there was no success! SuperOneClick stops at step 7 - UnlockRoot says "cannot get shell root" - Gingerbreak,z4mod,universal androot,doomlord are not working
Please help me!

Hi
I've used SP Flash tool to replace rom, and accidently pressed "Format" instead of "Download".
now, the phone recognizes the SIM card, but could not connect to mobile network at all!
also, on engineer menu, I go to Radio Information and it doesn't display my phone number.
and there's a "gsm service: out of service".
I've managed to restore my IMEI using MTK6575 Imei Restore tool.
but still it doesn't work
please advice

Its mediatek phone.. easy to repair imei.. simply root using iroot or something and use mtkdroid tool on pc and write imei

You can flash K3 Note modem via twarp/CWM in order to get your phone work on baseband.
