Hello,
I'm on latest miui stable global, is it normal that on every reboot or shutdown the battery stats reset themselves?

LOLOL

another bug i noticed is that after sometime the graph is completely wrong and the awake time doesn't show up anymore... Jesus how long does miui 8 exist and they can't fix things that just work in Android stock? unbelievable.

There is also a bug with the GPS graph. Most of the time it doesn't show GPS even if it was on.

GPS? Who said GPS?
I mean see "Active" stopped showing up?

Android os says its 100% of battery usage.

Ok so basically if I click battery in settings only android os shows up and it says cpu total 248d 13 h 47m 17s. It never changes i think this started when I cleared my cache and dalvik... Its rather annoying.

Power and Home buttons.
Hold them simultaneously until you hear photo snap.
Upload the photo.
I prefer hand swiping but this works too lol.

I had that happen to me. I booted into recovery and cleared cache and dalvik and that worked for me. If not just dirty flash right over and that should fix it
Doin' big thangs from my Note Deuce
I charged my phone to 100%, unplugged, and refreshed the battery monitor to fix the issue.

Instagram Update

So I updated my Instagram to the one with videos. I can take pictures, upload them, and I can even watch posted videos. Problem is, when I try to capture a video, it just goes back to the starting point. It doesn't save.

That screen shows up every time I try to press and hold the record button. It just goes back to the start. Any ideas on what's going on? I'm running SentinelROM v4.50. Thanks.

Not sure what s4's is like. This is s3 forum. Perhaps you can be more descriptive.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
those just once and always buttons dosent exist that on some s3 roms they make it like that you just click the app and its opened with it if you want it always opened you put a tick on left side and thats it.. iwanna do it on my current rom without install another rom
Oh like we had on ics... i looked at it once but didn't get very far. In 4.2 you can double tap the app to open it once.
Some Aosp roms still have the tick features
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I am on 4.1.2 and i know 4.1.2 has that feature on some roms maybe i should ask rom developers

go to that thread using a desktop or laptop.and there is an another thread for its root method in miui.com so you can search there also

AOSP battery stats (instead of HW/SW miui) - solution to EXPOSE the page!!!

i've found one strange thing.....
i'm on KATE miui 8.1.3.0 stable, and i discovered that turning OFF the "turn on MIUI optimization" option, fund in the developer potions, allows you to see the stock android battery stats.
try it! then go to settings>battery>battery use> and you will see this page! and it does also work in LANDSCAPE mode!! miui version only works on portrait

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
but the best thing is that it does not change the ORIGINAL miui interface of stats.... you can continue to read it on a different menu, precisely here.
settings>battery>power>battery use and wow in this way you read the miui hardware and software division stats
You probably won't get miui updates after enabling these settings. If you flash them manually then well and good.

Yes, he's telling the truth. Disabling MIUI Optimizations block OTA updates somehow.
ok... just re-enabling... should return to find ota, right?
