Rooting Runbo Q5

Hello,
I got a new Runbo Q5 rugged outdoor smartphone:
http://en.runbo.net/productview.php?id=226
It comes with:
Android version: 5.1
Kernel version: 3.10.65
Custom build version: A106_DT800_Runbo-EN_6M_20151218_V6.4
I'm trying to root it, but so far with no success. I already used the following "simple-auto-rooting-tools":
Android APK version of http://kingroot.net
Desktop version of http://www.rootgenius.com
KingRoot Desktop version of http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/one-click-root-tool-android-2-x-5-0-t3107461
None of them is working. Has anybody some experiences in rooting a Runbo Q5? What would be the next steps if I'm thinking about digging more into this and trying to do it by myself?
Thanks in advance!

I know this is a late reply but you can try the rooting guide here: http://www.randomdata.nl/wiki/index.php/RunboData_UHF_transmitter#Rooting
Soft bricked Runbo Q5

Need custom recovery
This one not listed in both TWRP and cwm. Any one could help to flash custom recovery?

Is it possible to install Android 6.0 and next versions on Cat S40?

Good morning guys.
As above, I would like to install a more updated version of Android because I would like to use the external memory as internal.
Somebody knows if it is possible?
Does it work the swap trick used for Android 4.1 on Android 5.1?
I tried to root with Kingroot but didn't work.
Does somebody knows about any other app?
Thanks to everybody

Cisco Mc74 custom Android ROM

Hello I have a Cisco MC74 it runs Android KitKat and has a ARMv8 processor. I know the bootloader and have a custom recovery. I need a barebone vanilla Android ROM for it. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
Were you able to get a clean Android on this MC74? I have one brand new at home and would like to use it for my home automation as the screen is nice.

There is a script to more or less automatically root and upgrade the MC74 so it can be used with an SIP / VOIP provider. It still runs JellyBean or KItkat, but you can install apps and play videos on it. See: https://github.com/reviveMC74/reviveMC74
The script backups up the boot.img, patches it and re-flashes it -- then installs a softphone app and launcher.

Help to downgrade Android head unit

I've an Android 9 Snapdragon head unit for my Bmw f30.
I upgrade to Android 10 but has a lot of bugs and i want to downgrade but isn't possible to downgrade.
I can't get fastboot to work because USB and keyboard doesn't work.
I've my unit rooted with magisk.
It's possible to modify the necessary files (boot.img or wherever files are needed) and flash it in Android and then install update.zip (Android 9 rom) from recovery to downgrade?
Or modify the Android 9 rom to bypass the check that doesn't allow to downgrade?
Here are the Android 10 rom: https://mega.nz/#F!kbYFBS5C!gE-QFJoUp__YMrh0SPxiJA!xXwSkQJb
And here is the Android 9 rom that i want to downgrade to: https://mega.nz/#F!kbYFBS5C!gE-QFJoUp__YMrh0SPxiJA!xLJWECpK
Please, help me.
Thanks in advance.
